keepitgoing · 28/05/2013 08:50

kitty does doing iui delay any ivf or are you just able to do it while waiting? Have they ever found any issues?

Solars · 28/05/2013 10:39

Oh what fantastic news solars!! Well done.

ControlGeek · 28/05/2013 10:54

Well done solars you have most definitely earned a lie down and a snooze. Brooking like crazy that your golden girls and MrS's sexy swimmers boogie the night away.

sparks I really had to laugh - splats?!

Arghh got myself stupidly wound up - got a meeting with dink boss in 10 minutes to go through possible schedule of events and requirements for time off.

SweetieTime · 28/05/2013 10:55

Solars that is great news. 6 is the magic number

go MrS and his super swimmers

SweetieTime · 28/05/2013 10:56

geek take it slowly and just tell the basic. only go as far as you are comfortable with. we are all human.

keepitgoing · 28/05/2013 11:08

We're well practised at our routines now

BeedlesPineNeedles · 28/05/2013 11:41

6 is great solars well done you

Hope the meeting went OK geek
Despite my earlier agonising over whether or not to tell my boss, I have got this far without saying anything and just booking 3 days holiday for next week. My stabbing appointment I just said I had a doctor's appointment and took 2 hours flextime and on thurs my scan is at 9.15 so I'll just say that I'm coming in late.

ControlGeek · 28/05/2013 13:06

Managed to get through the meeting with dink boss with the aid of my trusty spreadsheet Grin I don't think I gave too many details away, and he seems happy enough with the time I'm proposing to take off and also that things may change at short notice. He even let me bring forward the week's annual leave like I wanted so that I can have a good cry celebrate the results in private.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 28/05/2013 13:19

excellent news geek glad dink boss didn't give you a hard time

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 28/05/2013 17:30

Solars 6 is amazing :) when is transfer day?

Geek well done for getting through the meeting with dink boss, I'm hoping that he managed to book a private room this time.

Yay Solars! Half a dozen lovely eggs! Brooking they take a shine to the swimmers Smile

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 28/05/2013 22:12

Yay Solars 6 eggs! Awesome!

Geek well done for getting it all sorted with dink boss. He sounds like he is loosing some of his dinkiness, I'm sure he'll redeem himself soon Wink

Well AFM I've been super busy with my new job. I've been trying not to stress about it all and failing. I need to learn so much, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I worked in A & E all last week which was a real shock to the system. This week I'm in community so it's the complete opposite. I've been lost a several times today. Oh well at least it's keeping me distracted from the whole ttc malarkey Smile

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/05/2013 07:05

glad the new job is keeping you busy cups even if it is a bit scary. I'm sure you'll feel completely at home there in no time.

Hope the phone call comes early today solars so we you won't be kept in suspense for too long.

ControlGeek · 29/05/2013 07:40
BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/05/2013 08:06

careful geek we can't have you thinking dink boss is a nice guy :o I'm glad it went well yesterday.

MrB told me yesterday that he has told his boss and his colleague that he shares an office with about our treatment. I don't really mind, its good he has someone to talk to ( I have you lovely ladies to give me the support I need). But part of me thinks Hmm he didn't want me to tell my boss and now he's told his. And whilst I know that his boss and my boss shouldn't ever discuss these things I'm slightly concerned that his boss will say something thinking that my boss knows (we work for the same company and his boss sits fairly near to me and my boss). Oh well I won't let myself get stressed about it

keepitgoing · 29/05/2013 09:31

Come on ARGC, call!

beedle I think its unlikely dh boss would mention it, but even if he does they'll realise they made a boo boo, and he wouldn't say anything to you, iyswim. Good for dh to talk about it too, I'd think.
Yes, don't stress about it. You almost told him anyway, so it doesn't matter.

maybe hope the first stab was ok.

Love to all

Solars · 29/05/2013 09:44

Beedle men are strange creatures, my DH was adamant he was not going to tell any of his colleagues about all of this but with having to take time off at short notice he told a couple of them and found out both of them had also been through ivf! Yes don't let it stress you, just make sure you stay in a good frame of mind.

Geek lovely I'm so glad your talk with dink boss went well, it can make a whole difference to this whole procedure.

Cups I'm sure you will get in the swing of things before you know it.

You guys have done your magic again, I got the call this morning I actually missed their call at about 8:10 so had to wait 'til the main office opened to call back so all 6 have fertilised and are doing well. Transfer may be on Friday or Sunday. They will call me back tmrw to let me know how they are doing. I am tentatively optimistic but it's still early days.

Waves to Maybe, Sweetie, Boo, Sparkes, Gen, Kitty & Keep hope I've not missed anyone

Ooh Solars excellent news!

Geek I couldn't get my cigarette lighter fixed but I did find an auto electrician who hard wired the power lead into my dashboard. It's still working so far Smile however my sat nav couldn't find one of the streets I needed yesterday so I was circling a one way system for ages!

Beedle it's good that DH has someone to talk to about it if he needs to. I wouldn't worry too much, I doubt his boss would say anything. I had to tell my new boss on my first day as part of my risk assessment. Luckily he didn't really know anything about how it works and didn't seem to want to know!
