We've almost filled the second thread so here is a new one, so we can carry on chatting! Threads #1 and #2 saw some stunning successes and some sad outcomes. We'll have more of the former and less of the latter on thread #3 please!

All comers welcome. I found it very useful to be with people going through the same thing when I did my first cycle, so if you would like to join us, please come on in!

NokNokWhosThere?, yes, Chinese chippies are best, but my Chinese chip-provider has the same first name as my husband and unashamedly fancies him, too. This results in th'usband getting fuckloads more chips than me and a lascivious Chinky wink when he orders sausage. It's all quite nauseating, especially when t'other half flirts back Hmm

Not only am I going to wander around Borneo with me bits flapping about I am going to stick toilet roll to me flip-flops, too.

"Brrrap! Brrrap!"

buzzybee123 · 11/05/2013 17:34

ah bless you ladies, you do make me laugh, husband has just given me a Hmm look, I have had to explain what a mankini is to him, its a funny little place here, they are not really ctaered to english speaking tourists at all,

we fly back tomorrow, the hotel called us in our room to tell us we should have checked out Shock said husband looked like he was going to crap himself especially when I said don't think for a second that i'm sleeping with the winos at the train station tonight, we then checked our flights and realised we had the wrong time, we thought our flight left at 1pm when it actually lands in the UK at that time,

I have aslo noticed that there are alot of people with sticks and crutches, I have a professaional interest in it, I have had to stop myself from going up to people and adjusting the heights of their walking aids Grin said husband thinks they all have walking aids from falling over drunk Grin

one woman on ff has just got her fet bfp barely f days after it

Nokkie73 · 11/05/2013 17:39

juicyflaps in the circumstances, I would stop DH from going into your artisan potato craftsperson's shop and asking for a sausage a sausage, fnar. At his age too.

I then proceeded to speed read the rest of your post and for a fleeting moment, thought that you were intending to wander around Brno with toilet roll stuck to your flaps. Well, it would be a relatively inexpensive way to pass the time and a talking point for the locals.....

Nokkie73 · 11/05/2013 17:43

The locals would also get a brilliant view of this spectacle as, according to Mr Buzz, they spend half their time lolling around on the floor pissed.

Do it, you know you want to.

buzz after how many days did they get their FET BFP ?

buzzybee123 · 11/05/2013 17:46

noks I nearly wet myself, she doesn't need any encouragement Wink sorry stupid phone 4 days after FET transfer

buzzybee123 · 11/05/2013 17:47

bloody phone, just lost my post

Nokkie73 · 11/05/2013 17:50

buzz I am merely planting the seed Grin. Four days is a bit quick isn't it ?

buzzybee123 · 11/05/2013 17:57

well 4 fays plus 5 day frozem embryo plus she 3 put back

i've just had a nerous poo needless to say I didn't want to put much effort into it as I don't want B1 and B2 falling out

Jewcy · 11/05/2013 19:08

Nok-A-Doodle-Doo, I have taken much umbrage at your admission that you speed-read my posts. Especially as I print yours off, frame them and hang them in my toilet as light entertainment whilst I strain.

Buzzy, I love nervous poos, it reminds me of when I used to do drugs Grin

If you speed-read buzzy's post it sounds like there are ' a lot of people with dicks and crotches' Grin

Jewcy · 11/05/2013 19:09

" FOOKIN' COME ON, WIGAN!!!"

EuroShaggleton · 11/05/2013 19:15

Afternoon all.

Hurrah for being PUPO buzzy. I'll have everything crossed for you.

6+1 already, noks. You missed literally days of menkulling by finding out late, you lucky cah.

No AF for me yet, but I have felt MENTAL all day, so I guess it is on the way. Hmm I haven't had PMT like this for years. I guess my hormones are still settling down, post-mc. I can't believe someone entrusted me with a gun today. Grin

OP posts:
Nokkie73 · 11/05/2013 19:18

Brilliant - I wanted Wigan to win.

joocyfruit it's the excitement of your posts which makes me speed read. I hope your bog is cavernous.....I have lots of posts in me and I would love you to be able to defecate to a different one every time.

Nokkie73 · 11/05/2013 19:31

euro I suppose the advantage of feeling like a nutter all day is that you're one step nearer to round two. I will be keeping everything crossed for you.

To be honest, I wish I had more symptoms never fecking happy but it's all good. I didn't stop to think that I had missed some of the early menkulling that others have with ivf until you mentioned it. At least that's a good thing.

X

buzzybee123 · 11/05/2013 20:06

have come back from dinner, who has won, i'm more of a wigan gal myself, I have a deep rooted hatred for man u Hmm not usre why or where from, but I do hate them with a passion which is rather odd as i'm a kiwi and only love rugby Wink

I laughed so much at the last few posts, just what I need right now

euro nothing rong with a bit of mental behaviour, I hope af turns up so you can get onto your bfp cycle

Nokkie73 · 11/05/2013 20:14

Wigan won buzz. And, erm, Man City played in the final, not Utd. Grin

If you get a BFP, you can do the haka for us. I am mildly obsessed with the haka.

buzzybee123 · 11/05/2013 20:24

noks ah yes have just seen the news, don't like man city much either Wink well done wigan

Jewcy · 11/05/2013 20:46

Nokk-A-Hoop, I have just involuntarily evacuated my bowels laughing at this: I hope your bog is cavernous.....I have lots of posts in me and I would love you to be able to defecate to a different one every time. Grin

buzzy, I am so full of hope for my IVF I've already filled in the Child Benefit forms Grin

Th'usband just told me he does the haka just prior to entering me from behind Hmm

twinklestar2 · 11/05/2013 22:18

Thx for asking jewcy, I'm ok. Just have to keep going don't we? Throwing everything at it this month: CBFM, Preseed, grapefruit juice for EWCM, plus it's 3 months since oh gave up booze so his sperm should be amazing by now?!

Already both eating organic and gyming it. I'm giving up white wine like noks did. Come on baby, I literally can't do anymore short of fucking day and night to ensure a constant supply of sperm up there!

What's PUPO?

Jewcy · 11/05/2013 22:58

Twink, you go, girl!

PUPO stands for Pregnant Until Proved Otherwise (when embryos have been transferred) Smile

wishuponapositive · 12/05/2013 11:14

Hello Smile

I feel like I'm butting in but I found you guys this morning and thought I'd join you!

I have my first u/s to kick off my first ever IVF treatment on Thursday then starting the pill as soon as AF arrives which is any day now!

I've had a quick read through the old posts and felt so much support from you all even though it wasn't aimed at me. I hope you don't mind me nuzzling in for a piece of that support because I am terrified, mostly of it not working for me.

Thank you everyone in advance

EuroShaggleton · 12/05/2013 11:20

Any IVFer is welcome on this thread, wish. Good luck for your treatment! I'm glad reading us has made you feel supportive.

Nokkie73 · 12/05/2013 11:24

wish welcome to the bloody nuthouse ! Everyone here is super supportive and knows exactly what you are going through - I found it such a huge support. We do have a bit of a laugh and a joke about stuff but are always here if you need to be serious about anything. What is your story then ? Feel free to share Smile.

Morning to everyone else.

joosiefoof how is the bog decorating coming along ?

wishuponapositive · 12/05/2013 11:48

Thank you for the lovely welcome, I'm a bit of a nutter too so I should feel at home! Grin

My story - I am 27 and have been with my fiancee for 9 years. I was told I have polycystic ovaries at around the age of 18 but didn't really understand how much it would affect me until we started ttc 3/4 years ago.

I have been through rounds of Clomid which I didn't really respond to, then rounds of Gonal F injections which I responded to but nothing happened. I think I may have had a chemical but not 100% sure.

So now onto IVF! I've been through all the blood tests etc and have been given 2 cycles on the NHS with possible freezing. I have read up on the process etc but I guess nothing can really prepare me!

I'm just worried that if it fails I'll just quit the life I have now and leave the country to live life to the max. Unfortunately, as nice as that sounds, having a family is what I want with all my heart!

How do people deal with the negative after IVF? I can't really get my head around it

Jewcy · 12/05/2013 11:50

wish, hello, love. I'm about to embark upon my first IVF, too, with donor eggs abroad. It sure is terrifying and that's why we all need somewhere to come and talk about poo and wee and Chinese chippies. On a serious note, all we can do is hope for the best and be ready for the worst. Terrible cliché, I know, but it's all we can do.

Morning, slappers ladies, how are we? Safe journey, PUPO lady Smile

Nokk-Nokk-NokkingOnHeaven'sDoor, yep, the throne room is almost finished. I've collated your corkers and made 'em into a giant bog roll so I can guffaw whilst wiping me arse.

What you all up to today? I'm having tea and cakes at a gorgeous antiques place which used to be a church in a nearby village. I quite fancy a ceramicist who rocks up there every Sunday so I'm off to wash me bits just in case...

Jewcy · 12/05/2013 11:55

Buzzy, did you get any blastos to freeze?
