We've almost filled the second thread so here is a new one, so we can carry on chatting! Threads #1 and #2 saw some stunning successes and some sad outcomes. We'll have more of the former and less of the latter on thread #3 please!

All comers welcome. I found it very useful to be with people going through the same thing when I did my first cycle, so if you would like to join us, please come on in!

Hi girls

I am back. Lucky I am really as we need a brand new thread. We are two messages from this one self-destructing. I shall try to do it myself, which is bound to end in disaster because I am a ham fisted half wit.

Here goes.....

Oh buzzy and tame a torturous time, but we're all so excited for you!! tame I would definitely be using a super-sensitive expensive test if I were in your position.
wish I start treatment tomorrow, and although we are going down different routes, I totally understand your anguish today. I have been very calm until now, but all weekend I've been anxious and tearful and terrified. Hold on tight - we'll get through it! Same goes for juicy
Can I say, by the way, that you guys are so supportive and funny and lovely?

Well personally I would say no it wouldn't. With my experiences of ovitrelle it's been out of my system by 10 days maximum.

Keep testing and keeping your fingers crossed! Maybe get a digi in a couple days? x

tamie Its time to bring out the big guns, go get yourself a digi, are you using the internet cheapies, i don't believe its the trigger its saying you are pregnant and you need to see the words.

juicy Grin

wish this is going to sound patronizing because I'm a crazy lady but its totally natural to feel like this, you are making such a big decision that is not what you had planned, you are not going to be n control of a lot it.

You do have eggs and you wouldn't be doing this if you and them didn't think it had a chance. Sadly with all of this there is no guarantee for any of us which is what makes it hard

You need to worry about you and not anyone else, they can look after themselves you need to concentrate on you you are the priority BIG HUGS

Tame I would be exactly like you. Are you using extra sensitive tests or normal ones?

They say 10-14 days for the trigger don't they? That makes it 16 for you?

Report
tametortie · 27/05/2013 12:09

Do you think its the ovitrelle? I had it on may 11th. Could it still be in my system?

Ok I'm totally freaking out today! It's a week until I start my injections and I'm panicking that I have no eggs in my follicles. Maybe that's the problem? Even if I do what's sayin it's going to work?

I've only been on the contraceptive pill and I've been tired, emotional and my boobs have gone up a cup size! They hurt so much!

I'm panicking that too many people know about my treatment even though we've only told people that need to know but it seems like so many!

I'm sorry, I've been so busy lately and today I've actually stopped to think about it all. I'm bricking it! I also feel so angry with myself for thinking all this when people are in worse situations.

Oh god! Confused

Report
tametortie · 27/05/2013 12:08

Oh my fucking god. You guys.

No more spotting. And I have just done another test, mid morning, very dilute wee and its a faint positive.

Why aren't I happy? I feel numb.

I dont believe the tests.

Oh, Buzzy, you make me laugh.

I've just stormed home from the park, leaving th'usband most bamboozled. I really don't see the point in being in boiling hot sunshine when you're not thin and your clothes are not beautiful. I understand how ansurd that sounds but it's exactly how I feel. I'm not even fat; I'm 'normal'. Surely the Prednisolone can't have kicked in already? I only took it two hours ago but I feel quite irrationally furious Confused
