First scan is 10am tomorrow, Norf. Am sadly unblasé about stabbing - it's getting hurtier and MrA is still doing it! Oh well.

Nookie my first cycle was cancelled when the consultant went off sick and the second was cancelled when they decided I needed allergy investigations before taking lots of drugs and hormones. Those were inconclusive. My occasional insane reactions are due to idiopathic factors i.e they don't know. Twats.

Good luck tomorrow hest. Well done of persuading someone else to do the stabbing, i chickened out from stabbing VVTM last year when he needed blood thinners. And I don't even mind needles

I'm married to BE (Bald Eagle) and we've been TTC for 18 months or thereabouts. BE found out this week he has super-swimmers . I'm waiting for surgery to check my tubes, and also to investigate Englebert Lumperdinck, who is floating about in the vicinity of my left ovary and is either a cyst or a fibroid or a tiny second head.

Draf my parents have a tandem and they go on cycling holidays together. It is very cute. You should consider it also because when going up big hills you can stop peddling and make HOTB do all the hard work

Brief intro for me: I'm Frankel, aged 31 (for 1 more month). TTC for almost 3 years, PCOS diagnosed after 1 year. Since has 5 unsuccessful cycles of Clomid which I didn't respond properly to. Also had 2 cycles of ovulation induction (OI) which involves self-stabbing with lose dose IVF drucks, regular scans but doing the sechs the natural way. Second cycle resulted in a suspected CP. Started 3rd cycle in February but ovaries went a bit bonkers so they cancelled it. Still waiting for the-cycle-that-never-ends to end (CD46 and no sign of ov). We have been told we can have 3 more cycles of OI (4 if you count the cancelled one which we get to try again) before being referred for IVF. My husband is HWHNN, he works away from home Monday-Friday which can make timing the sechs right interesting

I've not ever had a scan that didn't involve a dildocam. Last time they didn't even bother with the abdominal one and went straight to dildocam, do not pass Go, do not collect £200 etc.

Cap'n, I've told HOTB that we can get a tandem when we have somewhere to keep it! Currently the garage is rammed to the gunnels with assorted gardening/decorating shit, one broken tumble drier, one broken car, and five bicycles - no room for a tandem as well!

Norfy my last abdominal scan was for embryo transfer and was eye-watering (overful bladder after scan was delayed by an hour, speculum pushing up, scanner pushing down, desperately trying not to do a projectile wee in the gynae's face). I much prefer being dildocammed.

Noks I'm not sure whether we ever did histories on the IVF thread, so here goes.

I'm some derivation of Euro (37). OH is KFZK (38) - kung fu zombie killa, after past and present hobbies. We are "unexplained". Been trying since December 2010. So far we've tries 3x Letrozole, 2X IUI, 6 months of prednisolone for immune therapy, one cancelled conventional IVF cycle and one natural cycle which work but ended in an mc at 8 weeks. I have a review with my clinic next week and will hopefully be going for natural IVF #2 in May.

I am so bored of my history I can hardly bear to spew it out again, but broadly:

Norfy, 35, PCOS/anovulation, occasionally corrected from time to time by ovarian drilling or varying combinations of drucks. Two ectopics and a failed bout of ivf. Will defrost some frozen embryos hopefully in May. No fucking droid since ivf, so looks like cycles are up the spout. CD37 today. I do have a stick in my bag, but not sure I can even be arsed to wee on it.

How are the follies growing Hesty?

Three follies measuring 16, 12 and 10 mm respectively. Nice fat endometrium lining. JIAP and iui on Thurs morning. Blimey!
