OK. So I'm freaking out a bit here now. If it's positive and I haven't managed to find out about why I've been mcing then I could potentially go through another 3 weeks of dehydrating sickness, all for no reason because it'll stop again at 8-9 weeks. My problem hasn't ever been implantation, it's getting past the first 2 months. Aaaaaargh!

Yes, I've told him. It's not quite so exciting for us though as we've been through this bit lots of times before. In answer to you Merkin, I feel a bit like crap because of the migraine and my back and shoulder hurt really badly in the places I've been having chiro for (but it only flares up occasionally now). I don't feel particularly different, but then I didn't the last times either.

Also, I've taken 3 triptans this week, which you're not supposed to do if pg. and ibuprofen. And I even had a sneaky cigarette the other night even though I haven't smoked since I met dh 7 years ago....

Nope. Never followed it before. I just went by the estimated date on my app which isn't ff.

Think positive Tally if you didn't get implantation bleeding before & had mcs then hopefully it's burrowing nice & deep this time & intending to stick around. I know that's probably v unscientific (but hopefully not massively insensitive) & I haven't been through what you have but fx your luck is changing. Drs told my friend who had v bad morning sickness right from start (tho not hg) that it was usually a good sign but that might have just to make her feel better.

When you say you didn't DTD at the right time in assuming your dates must just be a bit out otherwise you actually do win the immaculate conception crown. Don't worry about the meds or cigarette, you most likely hadn't implanted then, and most people do stuff they shouldn't before they find out. This time you have got the power of the berries to make it stick. Do your docs monitor you v closely?

The sickness is supposed to be good, everyone say so. I think I'm just an exception, although on the Hyperemesis forum there are quite a few women who have had HG and then miscarried.

I can defo see a line, tally. I totally understand why you are being cautious. IMHO, I think this warrants a trip to the GP on Monday and a speedy referral to the appropriate care.

tally I'd get onto your doctor on Monday and stamp your feet and scream and shout until they do every single test possible as it could just be something simple (eg low progesterone levels) causing your previous mmcs. Put your feet up (in between pimping) and celebrate because today you are pregnant and this time may be your happy ending.
Oh and you will know this better than me but some of my tests are dark and some are lighter. A line is a line, darkness is not better and does not mean anything!

Pip definitely winnning the EWCM prize there. I read recently that the evil BCP stops your CM ducts working alltogether and they have to unshrivel their dry selves to get back in working order. Eeeew. I'll add that to my list of pill badness.

Barking - acupuncture can help or hinder ttc depending on the points you use I think. They certainly want to know whether you are pre or post ov and ttc to tailor treatment. Could just be that your physio treatment is not compatible?

As for O well, Monday's OPK was +ve but temps and CM didn't correspond. Everything about my chart so far says my body is trying but so far failing to O yet. Waiting for bloods back from doc to see if they will shed any more light.

I am literally crossing everything for you and feel for you as to how scary this must be. Do you thing your hg has kicked in already? I really know very little about it other than the overview that it is horrific and so severe
