barking me too- I have faint lines all the time on opks, they just get dark just around ov. And sometimes just whenever they feel like it, like on day 20 or whatever one cycle. I'm sticking with my cb digi opk now- much less confusing!

It's ok, no need to call for the men in white suits just yet, I am actually aware of how ridiculous I'm being. Three more days and I'll probably get AF and be back at cd1 again. I really don't want a Christmas baby given the choice not that I'd say no obviously and our fertility clinic appointment is the 17th April, the day after my next AF could potentially be due (going on average of cycles). That would therefore be a proper Sod's law bfp and if anything is going to happen without us getting some medical assistance I reckon it would be then!

barking when is AF due? List says 21, you mentioned 3 days... I'm easily confused

List was from before I knew Ov and my cycles can be anything from 24 to 37 days, but I generally start AF 8 days after Ov. So bfp/AF now due 17th March.

PIMP this morning. BFN as expected. Can feel AF cramps starting to kick in. Cycle 7 has been a disaster. 8 however is my lucky number - bring on the next cycle!

8 is a good number . I'll be on double 8, but now I know we've got an appointment the numbers aren't bothering me so much .

And for the purposes of gaining important information which you will add need very soon, this morning I have dipped a HPT, a double dye HPT and an OPK. If my line is stronger than yesterday I may also dip my FRER. This is like being at school doing science experiments!

Scientific results, positive (faint but visible), obvious positive, & a squinter on the OPK!

I've decided I'm just coming down with something. Didn't sleep well last night, have had the sniffles all week (ie not a full blown cold) and feeling rubbish this morning. Fortunately I have the day off. Still in bed. Dog is not looking amused that he hasn't had his morning walk yet.

OPK still neg here which is just as well as DP & I had a big row yesterday so DTD with Brad Pitt would have been more likely than with him. We've both still got stinking colds too. I did get a faint line though which is more than I got yesterday.

frog my faint OPK lines are normally 5 days pre a positive. I know everyone is different but I use that as my indicator to start having sex

Well I took another temp this morning and was so surprised I took it again. below 36. is that normal? it might have something to do with the raging migraine I also woke up with, feeling physically sick. I gave up on breakfast and driving to work as dangerous. Seems better now after meds and more sleep so I'm going to risk driving. Why always on a day when the sky is so overcast it's bright white???

I'm having a bad day. PIMPed just for the hell of it. 2 days pre AF so did a pg test even though I'm only 6dpo. Trouble is, my AF comes along so quickly I never usually get the chance to PIMP until I'm late, when at only 8 or 9 dpo I still might get a bfn even if I was diffed!

BFN btw, obviously.

Sorry about the migrane. I normally have a couple of temps in the 35s and so so a hell of a lot of other charts I have seen. I believe you should only worry if you get more than 3 in a row down in the 35s each month (can indicate thyroid problems). My chart link here if it helps to have a look

Thanks Merkin. FF is guessing predicting O between 15-17th so that would be about right. Better kiss & make up with DP then!

Tally I've only started temping this month too but it's not dropped below 36.1. Did you get it in the right place under your tongue? There's heat pockets apparently you have to get it in. Mine seemed to go up the mornings I've felt a bit rubbish with my cold rather than down.

Barking I think i'd strop too if I were you. Let's hope the clinic sort out your short LP. You never know - I may find out from all my temping & PIMPing this month that I'm in the short LP phase club too.

Just realised I was looking at April in FF - it's predicting 18th - 20th which would be right. Got dinner out with DP & SS tonight so little bugger better be on good behaviour. If he's not then its the most effective contraception around!

frog thinking with my sensible head on briefly it would probably be better not to get upduffed before the clinic appointment next month, as if I got upduffed and it didn't stick I'd have to start again and the clinic wouldn't see me for another year. At least if I remain undiffed I will be able to have the ultrasound/scan etc to see if there's anything up there to explain why it's been 15 months and counting.

Just a pity that the two year old 'not fair' temper tantrum is currently overiding the sensibleness. I think that's just because I have the lurgy and have given up on today and retired back to bed post dog walk. When DP returns to distract me tomorrow night normality will be resumed. Just have too much time to dwell as I don't feel up to all the stuff I was aiming to do today!

barking if i were you (watch out crazy lady advice coming) I would double dye... at this point if you are going to get a BFP it will be super super super faint because it's so early. I think mine would have showed up if I'd double dyed on 6DPO.

How does one double dye?
I read your explanation earlier on the thread, so understand that I'd take the dye from another, but how would I stick it to the other?
