Should add that I'd had the first positive opk on time on day 14 after getting negatives before this.

Sorry if it's not what you want to hear. I don't think it means you're not pregnant, but I don't think it definitely means you are either...

Ha ha. You would not believe that I am a sane, logical and very measures person in RL from my crazy symptom spotting rollercoaster each month. I do have an ache/pain on one side that is coming and going. However if I wasn't in the tww I'd pass it off as something else! Need to pee again (too much tea) but going to hang on til after tea if I can... Will leave you all in peace now for a few hours!

I am also a totally sane person with a busy job which is why I am sitting at my desk currently wondering which pot I am going to use as my PIMPing pot & getting excited about POAS! I'll need to select a suitable one when I get home. I don't think we've bought any Gu puddings recently but there may be something similar in the cupboard!

good luck merkin, I don't know much about symptom spotting as I didn't really have any so have good market it's all a myth but it does sound very interesting.
Thanks for the sympathy raining (i think it was you that sais that? too may posts since for me to check!)
it definitely is AF, unless anything else starts off really light and gets heavier to normal flowness. although it would very much be the law of sod for me if we were to get upduffed now!

My you have all been having a good gossip! Have I missed anything major? Merkin I too am convinced I can feel a one sided pain. Not as intense as OV pain, more like a stitch. Is this a symptom?? If so combined with the magpies, cold and temp dip can only mean one thing!! Wink

May I join the temping obsession too? Must admit my brain is not graphically-oriented so I'll probably become utterly confused by it all quite quickly. Took one look at Raining's POAS experiment link, eyes crossed, and quickly closed out the window.
40 OPKs & 40 HPTs arrived today, along with 20 CBFM sticks. DH & I have made up from colossal snit from earlier in the week, full steam ahead for giving cycle 9 a go.
Merkin and Happy the one-sided stitch in the side is my favorite symptom to spot - has happened to me just once. Fx for you both and for the rest of everyone gearing up for shag week/PIMP day(s)

Right i'm back, tried to take a few hours off obsessing but didn't last long. However did have a pee without any pots involved! Am afraid to say I am the teensiest bit excited. However DH came home early (whilst pee sticks and packets were strewn about the bathroom and coffee table) and I had to do some surreptitious tidying as he would be worse than me in getting me pimping and symptom spotting (and convincing himself that i was upduffed)!

Yey to tally and barking joining the pimping and temping brigade. All links to charts welcome! We will all be upduffed together!

Anyone doing anything exciting tonight? I shall be settling in happily on the sofa in my onsie for OBEM...

Apart from giving up my OPK PIMPing virginity nowt exciting for me. No OBEM - I prefer to remain in blissful ignorance of what actually giving birth could be like! Suspect brain will prevent body from ever upduffing if it knew the truth.

How are you ever going to hide your excitement from Mr Merkin though? When I thought I was upduffed last month I told DP - tho partly cos i had to explain why i was such a moody cow!

Thats because my googling has turned up loads of women who got a BFP after a positive OPK... my temp is lovely and high and my stomach feels odd! (And the rest of the cycle is soooo boring I like to make this bit the most fun as possible)

Mother offered as she had some in her bag! I promise when I get my BFP I will be available for all experiments as needed by Berries!

Frog i will no doubt fail and mention it at some point. I was actually trying this month to say nothing and wait for it to dawn on the slow bugger and ask! And I am petrified of being pregnant and labour (I have an extreme fear of hospitals and sickness) however OBEM has made me feel much better about it! I may move to Leeds so I can go to those lovely midwives!!

Can I join in the excitement!??! I just got my appointment letter for the fertility clinic!!!!! Grin. Best news ever!
Not long to wait either, it's on 17th April!! It's a 'nurse-led clinic' and the letter says that the nurse may require some preliminary investigations before a diagnosis can be reached and to bring a diary so convenient dates can be arranged. So I imagine it's just a chat first?

There's a tiny part of me that thinks I won't be bothered now if I don't get my BFP by Sunday as I know I've got this coming up and it feels like something is finally moving forward :).

If AF comes when I'm expecting it on Sunday, and next cycle is average length, I'm due AF/bfp next cycle on the 16th April!

merkin - DP is away, so I'll be on the sofa with the dog watching OBEM tonight!!

Does anyone know if it's ok to take folic acid and levithyroxine together? Just started on the latter for hypothyroidism and need the drugs to get working ASAP!

thunder a quick google suggests pure FA is OK but not full pre-natals. And your FA should be taken at a different time of day

In fact (and I have no idea what the levo stuff is) taking it with FA seems to increase it's effectiveness at reducing the serum homocysteine
level
