Because lots of people get their first BFP on an OPK? LH is chemically very similar to HCG so an OPK will show +ive when pregnant. And I am bored and will happily piss on anything in sight to amuse myself.

Ah. Now I understand. I very much doubt you can get a BFP at 7DPO. I believe the earliest implantation can take place is 5DPO (and that's pushing it). I was reading t'other day about conception and the article said that once the sperm has fertilised the egg in the fallopian tube, the blastocyst then remains in the tube for 3-4 days whilst merrily multiplying its cells. Only then is it ready to travel to the uterus to implant (a journey of between 3 and six days).

Hello there. Just to add my two penneth worth (if I can get a word in). In Jan I had a very positive opk on something like day 20, in the afternoon. Was my first cycle of opk so wasn't sure of what is 'normal' but I wasn't pregnant. Obviously.
