Oh im only 7DPO, will be pimping until AF arrives on Tue! Dont worry i haven't really got my hopes up (i seem to have arrived at a place where my head is certain I will not get pregnant therefore am going through the motions but the anguish has mainly gone). Therefore pimping for fun (mostly). Lets see if I can prevent myself doing it more than once a day!

Yes, chuck, negative. I always (well, nearly always) ovulate on CD15 and get my +OPK the day before. However, being on Clomid delays ov for one or two days and sometimes causes me to surge 48 hours before ov.

What are you doing today, Smerkin?

I have a feeling I will ovulate next Tuesday (CD16) which is when your BFP is due!

I am trying to motivate myself to do all the stuff I should have done in the last 6 months that I want out of the way pre going back to work. Spring cleaning, stupid DIY jobs, getting ahead with some study, stocking the freezer etc. however motivation has momentarily left me and I am laid on the sofa in pj's reading MN and imaginary symptom spotting!

Merk, do me a favour? Look at my Oct/Nov/Dec charts and tell me what you see in terms of ovulation being pinpointed correctly or not by FF. I was on Clomid during these months and I want to predict ov this month.

Jan and dec look dead on to me. Oct and Nov could be right but also could have Od 2 days later. (Personally think you prob Od later, esp as coverline is quite low on both of these due to where O has been put.) Do you continue OPKs post the first positive? Could you sometimes have 2 LH surges and are catching the first but not the second?
And I can see why you peed on a stick this morn!

Merkin, I agree that (especially) November and October look suss. I never POAS after detecting the LH surge ('coz the instructions tell me not to and I always do what I iz told, innit).

I guess I'm attempting the impossible: trying to pinpoint the exact day I'll ovulate this month. I don't think DP is going to manage more than two shags this weekend so I want to time it perfectly

P.s. Jan & Feb I wasn't on Clomid.

Am reading up and it appears clomid can increase the liklihood of multiple LH surges or multiple ovulation

Also Merk, look at my Oct/Nov charts again: can you see the 'H' i inputted on CD14? That is the HCG (pregnancy hormone) injection I received from the nurse during scanning to force the eggs to pop out. This guarantees ovulation within 16-32 hours.

Multiple ovulation is almost guaranteed (I pop two eggs out at a time on Clomid). However, multiple eggs are released within hours of one another and would not be visible on a chart as two seperate instances of ov (so says my consultant).

I deffo think I ov'd on CD17 in November - I still had watery cm on CD16. But then that wouldn't coincide with the HCG shot

On Nov I reckon if you moved our positive OPK out your crosshairs would move. I'm pretty certain it was later too. Right, I'm going to give my O prediction....

You're right. Just read my notes from the hospital and it says: '..injection...help you ovulate..which usually occurs within 36 hours following the injection, this is only a rough guide as ovulation can occur from 32 to 48 hours after...the best time to make love is the evening after the injection but frequent sex is very important especially following on from the injection. Sex is usually advisable for at least six days after the ovulating injection.'

What the fuck? Why would you need to keep having sex six days after an injection which guarantees ovulation within 48 hours??

All this charting I making me a bit scared. I haven't been doing this! I've been keeping my AF dates since 2011 in an app and not much else. so I've decided to start on off. but now I have over 2 years of AF tto input one date at a time... I've also ordered a thermom and opk sticks. your obsession is hard to ignore!!

oh, and I got AF today, 2 days early. which is odd and unusual, but its really light so far. not that it matters as i was expecting it to turn up this month. I usually have as 31/32 day cycle but I'm going to chart because I don't know if the app has been predicting of correctly. saying that, I don't normally have a problem with the egg meets sperm bit, its keeping it going afterwards for me!

No trigger shot in December (too busy at Christmas apparently, but I still ov'd and my day 21 score was a whopping 119!!). No trigger this week either as the nurse is on her hols. I love being scanned and seeing the follies
