Me first this time. Smile

It may only be May 4th, but I'm out for this month (although technically AF due 30th May - I just like starting new threads).

Chocolate diet deffo the best of all...having just eaten a completely gutbusting choc brownie with fudge sauce to make up for the healthy lentil soup I had just before!

AF expected any day now so grapefruit juice in the fridge & EPO in the cupboard. When the packet runs out I'll forget to get any more so the usual paranoid/haphazard approach applies.

Interesting to read everyone's thoughts about the emotional yo-yoing and symptom watching. Completely where I've been up to this month, absurd hope one minute followed by desolation and tears the next, until my homeopath gave me a remedy which apart from sorting things out with my cycles is also meant to help turn the emotions down a bit. Has certainly helped for me. Hope next month it brings a bfp too!

Hopecat · 25/05/2006 17:09

Well I've just eaten a whole box of Cadburys Heroes that one of my kids got me.

Am beginning to feel distinctly lardy.

AF due on Tuesday, but might weigh myself and join your twiglet club coggy, as I'm bulging out of my jeans.

If I can't get pregnant, then I'll damn well be skinny!

Hopecat · 25/05/2006 17:11

What's your homeopath given you babydriver? I'm not actually a believer, but anything that may help would be welcome right now - if only to save me from obesity.

hiya all Smile
hopecat im with you on the jeans thing! am busting out a little myselfBlush
well, im on cd 14 here, have co-erced dh into bd on days 6,8,9,10,12 and tonight (he did something v. annoying and has some making up to do so im hoping its pretty guaranteed for tonight anyway!) Hopefully we gonna continue every other day all the way through to next af. I am waiting to go for laparoscopy within next 8 wks, so im not too sure there is much hope left as my first lot of bloods said i wasnt ovulating. But hey! i can still be hopeful cant i, and am trying really hard this month as you might be able to tell! Am trying not to come on to mn too much, but just having a quick sneaky-peek and couldnt resist a quick post. I so wanted a bfp in time for my birthday in june, if its my lucky month i just might get it............
its so hard not to keep wanting it even when it feels like it will never happen isnt it?

Hopecat · 25/05/2006 17:30

X thread gemma. Good luck with your loud BDing.

What have all your men been up to? Dare I ask?

DH has been most well-behaved lately, and long may it continue.

OP posts:
gemmaseascout · 25/05/2006 17:35

dh went on stag weekend to prague
I went to residential weekend with students

He MADE me promise not to share sleeping accomodation with other men leaders and I said dont go to strip club.

I kept my promise

He didnt!!!

And I had to force the truth out of him......

Am I being too hard????

He really has upset me!!!!

Hopecat · 25/05/2006 17:40

I suppose it's the breaking the promise thing that would bother me rather than the strip-club.

He probably thought that sharing a room with other men was more serious than watching girls take their clothes off.

I agree, but if he promised he promised. He either shouldn't have done it, or kept his big mouth shut! (It is possible my values are rather skew-wiff - and I certainly wouldn't have held this opnion a few years ago).

Hopecat · 25/05/2006 18:29

I hope this typing-senility is down to early pregnancy. Otherwise it's a bit worrying.

OP posts:
coggy · 25/05/2006 19:12

Worrying for you maybe but entertaining to me...

LOL when reading your last few posts!! Grin

Glad to hear that you may be joining the twiglet thread!
I am going to get through next week and then begin with a MEGA effort a week on Monday.

It may well be slightly more than 100 days to become a twiglet...but a twiglet I SHALL become!!!

pussycatmomma · 25/05/2006 19:39

omg gemms, stripclubs & stagweekends?? My dh is in the doghouse for something much more mundane im afraid! Tis funny now, but a few hours ago i was hopping mad!! i had just cleaned all the floors downstairs (swiffered and mopped) and just asked him if he could dyson the front door entrance mat thing before he went out , he obliged, me upstairs suddenly heard him cursing and grumbling, dyson is duly turned off, i go downstairs to find him covered with the curtain which pulls across the (glass) door, the pole on the floor, the bracket for the curtain pole come out of the wall, and the screw and plug also hanging out of the wall!!!!!!!!!!!! Angry What the fuck???? asks a bemused me.......hed only gone and hoovered up the fringing on the edge of the curtain (it is secretly a throw) and instead of turning dyson off, had obviously just pulled and pulled and pulled the whole f@&$ing thing down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think i would rather have had him in a stipclub out of harms way!!
needless to say it is all sorted now (by me! )as he was just going out, but i reckon that deserves a bit of extra bd tonight Wink

Hopecat · 25/05/2006 19:44

lol pussycatmomma.

DH didn't go to a strip club even on his stag-night. And I told him I didn't mind. Maybe it took the fun out of it...

Coggy: shall definitely be joining you in twiglet-land. My mind is made up. We shall be twiglets!

OP posts:
pussycatmomma · 25/05/2006 19:45

nah , dh never been to one either i dont think. We went to a works "do" and someone from his office gave him a lap dance, but i was cheering her on so i dont think that counts!

coggy · 25/05/2006 19:46

I can just imagine that situation Pussycat - sorry but I too LOL at you dh!!

Hopecat - is it a good idea to get half term over and done with first do you reckon?
Then really just go for it - twiglets together!

coggy · 25/05/2006 19:51

Of course I meant.....youR dh (not you dh - that just wouldn't make sense!!)

I've got your problem now Hopecat!!

pussycatmomma · 25/05/2006 19:59

whats this becoming a twiglet thing? i got to 9stone 2 with weightwatchers last year, but worried i was obsessing too much to concieve, so bish bash bosh, im now about 10stone something again (havent any scales so not sure) still not pregnant and now things i love are getting tight again. GGGGGGRRRRRRR
tis v. difficult to strike a balance between becoming twiglet-esque and thinking f&%@ it and eating lots in the hope of growing babies.
life is full of quandries is it not!

coggy · 26/05/2006 09:59

I shall have another attempt at doing a link...failed miserably the first time....but here goes...
