Me first this time. Smile

It may only be May 4th, but I'm out for this month (although technically AF due 30th May - I just like starting new threads).

WOW CONGRATULATIONS Babydriver and Sorkycake!

Sorry to hear about af arriving hopecat.

I'm on CD19 getting more and more fed up. Have two tests in cupboard and they keep calling me!!Even dh asked this morning how early i could test...i must stay strong and not give in (not yet anyway!!).

hairycaterpillar · 01/06/2006 13:59

has anyone else noticed that the font is bigger, how did that happen...or is it just my computer????

bobblehead · 01/06/2006 14:21

Mine is smaller!

hairycaterpillar · 01/06/2006 14:26

oooh whats going on mine is huge?! must be gremlins!

Hopecat · 01/06/2006 14:50

Hairycaterpillar, I know how you feel about the waiting. I am on cd20 and will have to wait 8 days before testing - 8 days isn't long I know, but it seems like a lifetime. I don't want to test early this time either, as last time round I got a false negative using First Response so won't trust that again!

Went to gym this morning and have converted my exercise routine into pregnancy-friendly stuff, just in case. It makes it very boring: no running, no jumping... I'm not giving up wine till I know for sure though!!!

maazaa · 01/06/2006 17:06

Hello Ladies

Tis half term and have been out and about, so just catching up on mammoth postings! Congratulations to those wonderful BFPs! Look after yourselves and enjoy the feeling (between morning sickness!)!!! Smile

Sorry to hear your AF came, Hopecat - is it a proper one? I am on day 22 and have already got severe PMT, with up to around day 28 to wait for AF. It would be the immaculate bloody conception if we were pg this month, due to dh's exam/stag weekend timings. Grrrr! I am tearful, bloated, headachey and have boobs like stone boulders. All PMT, none even vaguely pg-ish. Wahhhhh :(

pussycatmomma · 01/06/2006 18:33

hiya all, and big warm congrats to babydriver and sorkycake on those wonderful bfps Smile I wish you and your bumps-to-be a happy and healthy 9 months......Enjoy the ride ladies, we would all love to be in your shoes right now!
Just a quickie update, my dh hasnt done any more hoovering since his last disaster (see earlier in thread!!), im on cd 21, feeling extremely tired and fed up, think af is on her way early, just dont feel right at the mo. Am fed up of wishful thinking every month, it isnt doing me or dh any good. While of course i know its important to stay positive and relax (if any well meaning person in rl tells me this once more i might just strangle them), i feel as if my feelings of hopefullness are running out.
Waitiing to go for lap and dye , havent got my date through. Dh finally agreed to have his sperm analysis test (his toss-off test as he so eloquently puts it Blush), and ive to go for bloods again next month as my last ones suggested i didnt ovulate but they want more tests to be able to clarify this. (and also check out what is happening this month, if anything) Sorry to go on. Im on a bit of a roll now i think. After spending a small fortune on 3more months worth of persona sticks i went and dropped my bloody persona monitor down the loo earlier in the month, havent had smiley face on clearblue opk, lovely lady in our office came in today to show off her now 6 week old baby (id managed to get her out of my mind whilst she was on maternity, then in she comes with her prize Sad), and the daughter of a lady i used to live near bumped into me today, telling me all about her 8mth old and how they couldnt wait to have another. "dont want to leave too big a gap"
I on the other hand feel like a complete witch, for resenting these normal women their beautiful children, their lucky pregnant streaks, and the joy on their faces as they talk about their babes. I am begining to hate my body in a way i havent done since a teenager. Instead of buying bloody nursery furniture a la my best friend, i am waiting for my body to respond in the way nature intended. But its not is it!

I am feeling v. sorry for myself just now. Ignore please and i will go away quietly!
.............you know how it is sometimes. Its all sitting there heavy in your heart and you have to just get it out.
Sorry folks....
Hugs to all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

pussycatmomma · 01/06/2006 18:34

OMG Sorry for length of rant

peachygirl · 01/06/2006 18:39

oh pussycat (((((((hugs)))))

pussycatmomma · 01/06/2006 18:41

s'alright peachy. Just one of those moments i guess. i set myself off crying just letting it all out.
How are you anyway hun?

TuttiFrutti · 01/06/2006 19:03

Pussycat Sad

Hope you're feeling better now honey. I know it is really difficult to cope with other women joyfully announcing their pregnancy when you are trying yourself.

peachygirl · 01/06/2006 19:08

H pussycat I'm fine I know exactly what you mean with all the other pregnant women.
We have three in school now nad I have to look at one of them directly for the next 9 months. I am really happy for her but was feeling quite depressed about it all at the end of last half term with my other LSA ( ou know the less good one) saying what a wonderful mother I would be and I had lots of time left and the cleaner saying 'its catching you know' and them both smiling indulgently at me.. Thanks a lot make me feel loads better. However after a restful week I do actually feel much brighter about it all

Natty1806 · 01/06/2006 19:27

We all know how you feel pussycatmomma, it is best just to let it all out and in a day or so you will wonder why it got you so down.

I am up and down all the time, and i think waiting for appointments really doesn't help.

everyday i am wishing the postman would arrive with a letter from the hospital or in some magical way by body would just decide to work properly like all these other luck f*ers.

Sorry looks like i have gone off on one now Blush

bye

suzi2 · 01/06/2006 21:14

Aw pussycat - big hugs. Do you want to borrow my Persona? I'm not using it as I'm still breastfeeding DH and I'm unlikely to be using it to help TTC baby number 2.

flowertot · 02/06/2006 07:15

LOL suzi2 at b/f your DH!!! In this dreams I am sure!
Thanks Hopecat, just trying to gather all my info so I am well armed in the future. We have been a bit haphazard and a bit hopeless really. DD1 came totallyunexpectedly when I came off the pill so never knew anything about fertile times even til now! Think bding every other day after AF is best option so will be on the case next month.

suzi2 · 02/06/2006 08:16

yeah - DH is thriving on it! Grin

Blush I obviously meant to write DS...

Lucyb9384 · 02/06/2006 09:23

hi all, just needed a bit of advice - did a pt this morning and got a very very very faint line - does this mean a am pregnant or is a faint line inconclusive - Help - don't know whether to be excited or not?!?

Natty1806 · 02/06/2006 10:03

A line is a line - go and buy a digital one just to confrim

Congrats Smile

Lucyb9384 · 02/06/2006 10:09

Was very faint though - keep thinkin i imagined it i so much want it to be a bfp.

Lucyb9384 · 02/06/2006 11:48

i used a First Response test - are these reliable and oh my god i think i'm going to go mad i just need to know

Hopecat · 02/06/2006 11:57

Morning everyone - CD2 today. Very heavy AF - just to really rub it in. (Yep Maazaa, it's definitely full-on AF Sad).

Lucy - which CD are you on? If you're using First Response I'd guess you're testing early, so if you've had a line already it's pretty likely you're PG. Congratulations! Grin

lol at suzi2's BFing antics.

PCM - so sorry you're feeling rotten. fwiw I feel exactly the same. Being relentlessly positive starts to feel empty after a while doesn't it? Hope you're feeling better today. Smile

Lucyb9384 · 02/06/2006 12:06

i am cd 27 so ue af tomorrow - so am testing bit early - done two tests now but the line is so so so so so faint - i'm sorry to keep going on but you know what its like when you really want it to be a BFP

maazaa · 02/06/2006 16:29

Please can anyone help solve an argument between me and DH? I am sure it has been explained before, but I may need it again in simple language!

DH says you can get pg at any time of the month. I say you can get pg at the optimum time of the month, around day 11-16 ish, keeping an eye on your ewcm. He says, if this is the case, then why wouldn't everyone just have sex and avoid that week. I said I thought that was the rhythm method and is reasonably effective contraception for some couples. Do women who accidentally fall pg just happen to bd at the optimum time of the month?

I understand the sperm surviving etc, but does it really mean that around 3 weeks of the month have little or no chance for getting pg?

TMI ALERT: We bd'd around 3 times this month (poor show I know - see earlier rantings about dh's poor timings) from around day 8 to day 12 ish. I am still having mammoth PMT symptoms but wondered if those efforts could have had any chance?

maazaa · 02/06/2006 16:33

Exciting Lucy - go buy more tests!!!!!!! Sod the money!!!!!

Sorry, Hopecat, that things are full flow...hope you are getting lots of TLC. How are you feeling today PCM? This site is so good for being able to write your feelings down on - nobody understands more than you ladies, so don't ever apologise for spilling it all if it helps!

How is everyone else feeling?
