Conception

When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

It is a fact universally acknowledged that a woman in her thirties in possession of a ticking biological clock MUST be in want of a baybee.

The former thread proved full of sadness and most vexatious disappointments, wherefore we know not :(. Therefore the BESH will be donning their empire dresses and enlisting the assistance of Captain Wentworth and his admirable breeches and Mr Darcy smouldering damply in his transparent white shirt both of whom with their pleasing countenances and sound judgements and enormous fortunes, in short both of whom are everything a young man ought to be in the expectation that happier times may be ahead for the BESH.

Rie I thought the allergy stuff was done and dusted - what is this appointment about?

Frank nice betting.

Argh - there are lurkers???

I'm back in the office today, feeling rather better. Still a bit crampy but haven't even bothered with any drugs yet. And the world avalanche from my foof seems to be slowing, which is nice. I keep thinking "surely that can't have been the worst" though?

ConnieLingers · 14/03/2013 12:40

Same as Elpth, but I won't be lingering anymore.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 14/03/2013 12:42

elpth that's very sweet of you. I have no objections to lurkers - I suspect we have an awful lot of them! We aren't that scary so do delurk if you feel you'd fit in around here.

I apologise for calling the other poster a moron, it was a heat of the moment comment and goes to demonstrate our strength of feeling for each other.

Anyways to all the lurkers.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 14/03/2013 14:14

Hello elph, what a lovely message. And hello Connie.

I'm about as scary as a goldfish at the moment.

OP posts:
ConnieLingers · 14/03/2013 14:14

I was 'the moron' but I've been called far worse (like 'snob' Wink) so don't fret. My insides are diseased, I've had a miscarriage, my libido has fucked off to the Jeremy Kyle show, I have started to grow nipple hair and only read Viz, so I don't think I fit in here. However, I wish you all the very best of luck.

EuroShaggleton · 14/03/2013 14:22

What on earth from that list makes you think you don't fit in here???

TWinklyLittleStar · 14/03/2013 14:23

That sounds more like you do belong here, given all that!

ConnieLingers · 14/03/2013 14:27

I look like Cathy Burke in an empire line dress.

ConnieLingers · 14/03/2013 14:31

In my efforts to avoid the common letter 'K' I have inadvertently misspelled Ms. Burke's name (soz, Kathy).

QuickQuickSloe · 14/03/2013 14:32

Wotcher. (Still me Bitey, no I am not name changing back)

Was going to be all shouty and smashy too but see there is no need. Pliz to enjoy this instead.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 14/03/2013 14:40

Connie I for one would be delighted if you stayed . Remember, we are TERRIBLY refined round these parts.

OP posts:
ConnieLingers · 14/03/2013 14:47

This is why I cannot join; I am not refined.

TWinklyLittleStar · 14/03/2013 14:58

But Connie, dear lady, I too am coarse and unrefined. And if I didn't pluck my nipple hair I would probably be able to plait it

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 14/03/2013 16:07

We are only refrined on the Austen thread. Otherwise, apart from our charm, wit and intelligence we are dead common.

Wow I knew there'd be noobs come the morning :) hello, do stay. I don't have nipple hair but am fully accepting of those who do. Probably best to pluck rather than plait though, we are laydees dontchaknow.

rie I too am very conscious of my barreness because it is rather apparent that lots of people seem to be aware and are very careful around me. I suppose it's better than the potential twatty bug innocent comments that could be made.

Glad your feeling a bit better today euro. As shit as going through something like this at work no doubt must be its probably better than sitting at home watching brain rot TV. Does anyone else ever want to hit holly willibooby? She really gets on my nerves and I don't know why?

Where have bugs and norfy gone. xx

to clarify, not my erection

RaspberrySnowCone · 14/03/2013 17:45

Twatty bug? I meant 'but'

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/03/2013 17:50

Who is the pope? I am confused...

Thank you for the lovely message elpht. You can stay lurking and now and again popping in if you want.

Listen here conniemoron that is nearly oxymoron which makes me oddly happy if you can't cope with the fred-feme we can make an exception, bugs is not playing Austen either. And if you've been invited after having a spat with aries you have no excuse, cos clearly you're a goodun.

Anyway, I must get ready for my fourth and final night of the delights of Colin Firth. And I hate whoever put the thought of Lydia referring to sex in that sentence "to think I have done what none of my sisters have, and I the youngest of them all". Clearly I watched it at a young and impressionable and not at all into Those Things age the first time.

Other lurkers, if you fit the basic criteria, please delurk and join. If you don't please delurk and be lovely!

maamalady · 14/03/2013 17:54

I have one friend who tries to be nice but actually says all the wrong things. I don't know how to tell her to stop. She said to me the other day that I was "lucky", because a friend of hers has cervical cancer and needs a hysterectomy. Granted, I'm not as unlucky as that poor soul, but it hardly makes my situation "lucky", does it? I shall be charitable and blame it on my friend's new baybee sleep deprivation, but she was just as thoughtless when she was diffed and getting plenty of sleep, so no excuse really...

By all means continue lurking or join us to post on here, but please don't take the piss out of us or mention our unhappy TTC situations unnecessarily on other threads. It's rather unkind, though I suppose it is an occupational hazard given that this is a public board, etc.

RaspberrySnowCone · 14/03/2013 17:54

I just shared a picture of FB that was a bit nose rubby of people who blame their gut on their kids. I feel bad now.

Well, not really but I probably should. I share these things for me more than anyone to keep me to my word otherwise I'd be a hypocrite. That's ok right? Those who I'm friends with on t'uther side tell me to shut up if necessary

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 14/03/2013 18:08

That would have been me Lemon, in my defence I never "got it" first time round either.

What did we think of the recent Emma adaptation with Romilla Garay (sp?). I though it was very good, except for the bit at the end where Emma and whatshisface were walking alone in the garden, unchaparoned Shock. It would not have been allowed!

Of course "Clueless" is also an excellent interpretation.

elpth · 14/03/2013 18:11

hello! Thank you for the lovely replies. I shall stay lurking then but be brave and pop in now and then.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 14/03/2013 18:19

rasp actually that inspired me! I plan to start running again when I've dropped/got the urinary toobs fixed :)

Glad today is a bit easier euro.

Frank I didn't see it...I have just read I capture the castle again so have been looking at her face lots lately.
