The former thread proved full of sadness and most vexatious disappointments, wherefore we know not :(. Therefore the BESH will be donning their empire dresses and enlisting the assistance of Captain Wentworth and his admirable breeches and Mr Darcy smouldering damply in his transparent white shirt both of whom with their pleasing countenances and sound judgements and enormous fortunes, in short both of whom are everything a young man ought to be in the expectation that happier times may be ahead for the BESH.

Hmm, Euro it has allegedly been checked - it was in the first round of bloods I had done. I never saw the figures but the gp said it was fine. I'm planning to get print outs of all my results though, so I can check it out myself. There seems to be some debate about what constitutes 'low'..

EuroShaggleton · 11/03/2013 11:35

I've also heard that there is more than one thing that should be tested to check thyroid function. A lot of GPs only do the basic check and that won't always pick up a problem. This is just what I have read on these boards though. There were a couple of ladies on the Pred thread when I was on there who had thyroid problems and mentioned testing in their posts.

Lol this thread has put a smile on my face. I would have Mr Darcy in the form of Colin Firth. Yummy.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 11/03/2013 11:51

Hello Rubyx, while I am delighted that you find this thread amusing, bear in mind its purpose and context please. Thanks.

I'm glad reading about the ttc problems of others and my mc has made you smile. What can I do next for your entertainment?

Hmm
FriendofDorothy · 11/03/2013 13:13

Molls I had quite low temps when I was charting. Took me a few cycles to get the hang of it too.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 11/03/2013 16:08

Clinic have called back: keep taking the drugs, come back on Wednesday.

EuroShaggleton · 11/03/2013 16:22

Well they wouldn't have said that if they didn't think they would grow, so that sounds promising.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 11/03/2013 16:48

I know. It's just such a lot of too-ing and fro-ing. I was there 3 times last week and it looks like it'll probably be the same this week. The drive is a real PITA, it's only 10 miles away but the rush hour traffic means I have to allow at least an hour to get there.

I know I shouldn't complain.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 11/03/2013 16:50

Complain away. Why shouldn't you moan. You've been dealt a dud hand. We all have.

What Rie said*.

As I said on another thread recently. Subfertility is just sh1t. Why can't we just have a drunken sh@g like "normal" people? Why?

I wouldn't use the word "annoying" Bugs. I'd use "hurtful". You're hurting at the moment. It's a pain which won't go away.

Anyway, have these ----> xxx

I'm still avoiding FB, Bugs. I went on briefly today to send a message to someone whose email I don't have but managed to stop myself scrolling though. It just hurts too much. I reckon if I give it another couple of days, all of the MD stuff will have dropped off the bottom.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 11/03/2013 17:24

Did anyone see my oh-so-amusing update?
