Hi guys what do the intrapilids have in them? And what does it do please xx

freelancegirl · 18/06/2013 21:32

I think it's an infusion of fat, soya and maybe something milky (?). It's what they give to people who can't feed themselves in hospital such as when in a coma. A harnless substance, unless you have relevant allergies of course, but as a side effect they think it coats nk cells in some way and makes them less active.

Tumtimes1 · 18/06/2013 22:11

I've not been offered this by dr s, only prednisolone and the progesterone when I get bfp. Should I ask for it? X

buzzybee123 · 19/06/2013 09:46

tums I asked for the intralipids

Tumtimes1 · 19/06/2013 11:39

Did you - I am going to email Louise. Thansk! xxx

sameoldIggi · 19/06/2013 12:15

Hello, came on to keep track of the news and hoping for more bops and "good" scans.
Tums I notice your question about intralipids, I wasn't offered those and didn't need them in the end - he told me I had high NKC though rather than very high, might be the difference?

sameoldIggi · 19/06/2013 12:16

Bops was off course bfps when I typed it...

Tumtimes1 · 19/06/2013 12:33

Ah ok - mine are borderline/high so maybe thats why I havent been offered them for when I get my bfp xxx Hmmmmm!

freelancegirl · 19/06/2013 14:49

Mine were very high, he said in the highest 5% he sees in the clinic! Yes it was just for very high Iggi.

Here's to some more bops Grin

buzzybee123 · 19/06/2013 14:53

tums mine were borderline but i still asked for them, i want to throw everything at it this time, i'm sitting in NLC where the receptionist is very pregnant Hmm curious as to whether she had a helping hand or not

Tumtimes1 · 19/06/2013 15:05

Ah good plan buzzy so just to ask, as a borderline, what are you on, Prednisolone, Progesterone and INtrapilids in total yeah? xxxxx

buzzybee123 · 19/06/2013 16:06

I have just come back from seeing Shehata, who was in a good mood. He scanned me and there was a heartbeat and I got to hear it, he said to go back in 2 weeks bit I haven't made an appointment

I am on 25 mgs Prednisolone, 200mgs Hydroxy, 6mgs Progynova and intralipids, 800mgs of progesterone bullets and 2mls of Agolutan

along with a host of other stuff :)

cartoontrickster · 19/06/2013 19:59

buzzy that's great news. I also saw him today (3.10 at nlc I guess I was there before u) and thought he was in a wonderful mood!

Tumtimes1 · 21/06/2013 09:08

Hey all - I'ma little bit worried. I'm on day 16 of my cycle and have noticed light spotting.

Basically I so far have not had a "smiley" on a stick and have been BDing every 2 days. Last night was the third BD. Just before we did the deed I noticed a very small amount of brown cm when I wiped. THen this morning I have noticed that I seem to have red when I wipe. It looks like menstrual blood and is mixed with CM. Its not bright red or doesn't seem fresh or much at all.

Does anyone have any experience of this? this hasn't happened before. I have looked online and there is something called ovulation spotting and would make sense given I am at my ovualtion stage in the cycle (or should be). But as I haven't had this before I am a little bit concerned.

Thanks in advance for any advice or comments xxxx

teamdozie · 21/06/2013 10:39

Hi tum

ive had this before and it was gone in a couple of days... nothing to worry about (in my experience anyway)
i hope that puts your mind at rest a little bit

xx

MrsChocken · 21/06/2013 14:25

Hi everyone - is anyone else on metformin as part of their treatment? Or has anyone experienced their periods getting lighter and lighter because of the prednisolone? Still no luck for me (on Mr S's treatment since January) and my periods are so light now that I'm worried not enough lining is building up so just wondering if anyone else has experienced this change whilst on treatment? Any advice appreciated - thanks xx

buzzybee123 · 21/06/2013 15:06

tums sorry no experience about the spotting, it could be alot of things but hopefully nothing to worry about

mrschocken I had this with my periods getting lighter and lighter, Mr S wasn't worried about it and e said it didn't mean my lining was too thin, he did put in my on progynova to help with my lining, if you are able to get a scan somewhere they could tell you how thick you lining is around ovulation it might put your mind at rest

mollieboo · 21/06/2013 17:58

Hi ladies

delta lovely to hear your positive news, two children under Mr S, wow that's amazing.

buzzy and cartoon congrats on your good scans. I had a scan today at 13w2d and all was good. I get so nervous each time, its all such a relief to know all is well.

tum and mrschocken I have no experience re your questions sorry but didn't want to ignore.

Waves to all.
