Oh buzzy. I hope everything is ok with you. I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this. This journey is a form of bloody torture.

mollie I am so pleased to read your news. You so deserve this.
I have another scan on Friday. This for me, is my critical week. I have mc'd the last 3 times between 8 and 9 weeks. That said, on each occasion, I have had very dodgy scans leading up to the mc. This isn't the case this time, so I am clinging on to belief. I am of course, fervently knicker watching/symptom spotting/mentalling. The next few days will no doubt crawl along!

Hope everyone else is doing ok?

freelancegirl · 16/06/2013 21:37

Buzzy, I so hope it's all ok, so many people do have bleeding and are fine. I know that wont stop the mentalling though. How is it now and when can you have a scan?

buzzybee123 · 16/06/2013 21:44

thanks ladies I will go up to EPAU tomorrow morning, I am supposed to be seeing Shehata on Wednesday, praying for a little miracle

Tumtimes1 · 17/06/2013 10:36

Buzzy sending you love and support, I'm hopeful all will be fine. xxxxxxxxx

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 17/06/2013 11:33

Buzzy I hope the scan goes OK. I know seeing blood is so frightening. Have you been using the Cyclogest pesseries? I understand that can cause some bleeding. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. X

buzzybee123 · 17/06/2013 12:55

hey ladies thank you so much, I had a scan and there is a heartbeat still, they are not sure what the bleeding is, i'm still spotting

cartoontrickster · 17/06/2013 13:05

that's good news buzzy but how fraustrating they don't know what's causing it. are you still in line with your dates?

TheAccidentalExhibitionist · 17/06/2013 13:35

Really good news Buzzy how many weeks are you now?

Tumtimes1 · 17/06/2013 15:57

Yay Buzzy thats brillo news! Will Shehata scan you wednesday too? x

mollieboo · 17/06/2013 17:00

buzzy that's great news, what an awful scare for you. Such a rollercoaster.

dozie I'm taking hydroxy along with pred and everything else on offer. Been on it a while.

clabbage will be thinking of you on Friday. Such an anxious wait, but as you say you've had good scans already this time.

cartoon well done reaching 9 weeks. I'm taking my last pred tomorrow, my sleep is still a bit mental!

Waves to all.

cartoontrickster · 17/06/2013 17:31

thanks mollie I haven't got a scan till thurs.. but hey positive thinking!
I bet it feels amazing nearly being off the pred.

mollieboo · 17/06/2013 20:10

Yes positive thinking, but you've had good scans so far so its all good. Yes I feel more normal coming off the pred, very tired but that's a pregnancy symptom so I don't mind!

teamdozie · 18/06/2013 10:50

cartoon what are the intralipids like? for some very strange reason im looking forward to having mine... lol

mollie same here.. because my NK cells dont react with any of his treatments i have to have a combo so i feel like i too am on everything on offer..

this is my first time on his treatments so can i just ask has it worked for everyone first go?

Delta10 · 18/06/2013 12:17

Hello all - great to see so many positive posts at the moment!
Buzzy - I know you will be feeling incredibly anxious so I wanted to pop by to say that I also bled (red & quite a bit) from 6 to 10 weeks & was convinced it was all over. However, the scans continued to show a little beating heart & my lovely daughter is 18 weeks old today so there is always hope!! I shall keep everything crossed for you.
There are a lot if newbies on here so I will quickly add that after 5 miscarriages I went on to have 2 children courtesy of Mr S's treatment programme so am a big fan - cannot imagine the continued pain & heartache for those who do not get the same positive outcome. I wish you all so much luck, whatever stage you are at x

Tumtimes1 · 18/06/2013 13:12

HI Delta nice to meet you! Thank you for your positive words! Can I PM you and get your experiences? I have had 2 miscarriages and am under Dr S, would be great to have your story in more detail. xxxx

Tumtimes1 · 18/06/2013 13:14

Ooh I can't seem to get PM to work? Does anyone know how to PM someone on here? xxxx Thanks xxx

buzzybee123 · 18/06/2013 13:24

tums on the blue strip is your name {or the name of the poster} on it at the right hand side it says message poster you click on that and you can then message the person

freelancegirl · 18/06/2013 16:12

That's such a relief buzzy, step by step I know... But u also know so many people who have unexplained bleeding and it's all fine. Great news so far though. And Mollie woo hoo to the last Pred! It's a real milestone.

Lovely to hear from you delta! I really must do a grads list as it's inspiring to others I think.

cartoontrickster · 18/06/2013 16:17

tums I was so nervous having my first intralipid! but I don't particularly like needles. I find it fine once its in, sometimes my arm gets cold like you can feel it all going through. afterwards I'm fine sometimes a bit drained but that might just be pregnancy! for some reason the first one they keep at a slower pace and after that anymore you have they wack it right up so it goes through quicker (at least they do with me) Grin

freelancegirl · 18/06/2013 17:10

Teamdozie, I was nervous for my first intralipids as I'd never had a drip before. It's very surreal sitting in a room in Surrey having a drip for a few hours when you're not actually ill per se. Quite relaxing though. I made sure I took magazines an nice food to munch on.

Who asked about miscarriages on the treatment? Yes they happen, I had one mc on treatment before getting pregnant with my little boy. I guess even if the treatment is doing to job properly we can still have mcs for all the usual, non nkc reasons.

cartoontrickster · 18/06/2013 17:36

sorry dozie not tums!Blush

teamdozie · 18/06/2013 18:15

cartoon that doesnt sound too bad.. im looking forward to it.. it is so nice speaking to people in the same situation..

cartoontrickster · 18/06/2013 18:53
