free I've just watched your link, its amazing, i'm having a few tears as it feels like a relief for this to be out in the open, not some little secret you didn't tell people about, it also made me think about all the stupid insensitive not thought through comments people have made.

If I can do anything to help please let me know

free Two years ago I had a patient, she was talking about her two daughters, she told one of them didn't want children, she then went on to tell me that she had had 3 miscarriages and a stillborn, I just remember sitting there thinking how sad she looked and how she had not forgotten even after 45 years

Ahh thanks buzzy. And wveryone else. I know a few of you have made pledges and I'm so grateful.

Yes it's also strangely liberating to have 'come out' as it were. Sometimes in the past I've had a weird, misplaced of course, sense of embarrassment about it all. It's like being worried about people feeling sorry for me or thinking im a failure. This feels as we are doing something positive.

Hi ladies

I gave birth to our boy Joey Oscar yesterday. Took 13 hours of inductions and 8 hours of labour which I wasn't expecting. Home now and caught up on lots of sleep. We both had a cuddle with Joey which I'm really glad about.

Thank you all for your lovely messages of support and pm's and offers to chat privately. Once I'm up to it I will be replying, Sue it will be good to chat to you thanks.

Free glad the trailer is being well received. I will watch it when I'm up to it. I have found that miscarriages are such a taboo subject. As I've had a late mc and everyone knew I was pregnant I'm getting lots of support, but when you're going through recurrent early mc it's a terribly lonely experience.

Xx

Mollie, you are so firmly in my thoughts. I still feel very shocked for you. The fluffy bunny land that I live in says that someone who had faced the loss of their precious son, should live a life free of further heartache. Ironic from someone who lost a son and then miscarried over and over, but I want to believe in the world being just so. I am deeply angered by the injustice of your loss. I am so so sorry.
Much much love to you, your oh and to Oscar and Joey x

mollie I was shocked how long it took for me to give birth too (5 days from first induction). I think out bodies wanted to hold on to our pregnancies for so long as it was the wrong time for it to happen. Don't be surprised also if it takes your body a long time to get back to normal. My periods took about 4 months to return and then another 6 months to regulate. I wish someone had told me it could take that long so be kind to yourself. Pm me when you are ready xxx

Oh, I just popped by to see how everyone is doing and read Mollie's news. I'm lost for words and just so so sad to read what's happened. After all you've already been through, it's just heartbreaking. I'm so sorry. No amount of platitudes can take your pain away I just want you to know that I'm thinking of you. Take care of yourself.

I also wanted to say that if anyone is interested (probably newer members of the thread), I have the following books that I'd love to pass on -

Miscarriage, What every woman needs to know by Leslie Regan,
Is your body baby friendly - by Alan Beer
Taking charge of your fertility - by Toni Weschler
Preventing miscarriage, The good news - by Jonathan Scher & Carol Dix

I am in London N1 if anyone wants to meet me to pick up the books or I can post them but will need postage costs as my Maternity Allowance doesn't stretch very far.

Lovely to read lots of good news here too. x

Just checked in and have seen Mollie's awful news. I'm say on the train crying for you now behind big dark glasses. I am so sorry lady, so terribly sorry.

Freelancer I just watched your trailer and I really loved it. I work in tv and have a couple o contacts, but let me know what you need and If I can help out, I will xx

News with me is that I had a confirmed very early miscarriage, the bleeding that went on for 40 days was that apparently.
Had a scan last week and all clear to try again.

tums I'm sorry. hope your doing ok.
feels odd to post my news but here we go.
I saw Mr s for a scan on Wed all looking good at 17+ 4. I have been 'signed' off now. so just NHS care for me. I simply cannot afford to continue seeing him as much as I would like to. I'm off all meds now apart from asprin and vits. far from being 'safe' but getting there with each day and i am making myself believe that this is it.
