Dunno Northbynorthwest, consultant will tell me tomorrow. Tomorrow will be CD9 in effect so hopefully. Don't know if they can tell by now if anything will change.

Well done on consenting and the rest, norf. We must have been in the same position cos as far as I know it is just like IUI. And if you found it ouchy, and you have a normally tilted uterus, making sure you have a full bladder can make a big difference.

We had the doctor for the IUI today what told us my pregnancy would end in MC in Sept, and SB and I were both completely surprised she was young and friendly and open. We had made her into some evil witch in our head. Faif's positive thoughts obviously affected SB this morning, as we had an absolute record of 50mil (previous numbers have been between 4 and 15; it might mean I have to revise my quiet conclusion we were struggling because of mild male factor).

In pure blind faith in your ovaries I am sure they can squeeze out a few more follicles from round the back or something in the next few days, jeffy. Go, ovaries!

Ooh, lem, I also had the poo issue! My nurse remarked that she was "looking at some digestion". I was mildly confused for a moment until I remembered your situation. And then I started giggling. And hurrah for SB's superjizz!

I have faith (not faif, mind) in Jeff's ovaries. Come ON!

BTW, at work today a colleague was seen sprinkling maca powder on her food. I giggled and told her as far as I knew it was used to improve jizz quality so what was she up to? (She's the only one at work who knows about ttc.)

What seems to make a difference to SB's results is stress (we worked that our by his varying from 4-5 when working hard to 15 after hols). And clearly our shit Christmas, loads of dvd watching, eating and not exercising, drinking loads in December (and nothing in Jan, as I avoided both alcohol and coffee whilst on drucks) made a bigger difference... We were stunned and asked her to repeat the number a few times.

I share the FAITH in the ovaries. And come on cd 9 is early by all normal standards, right?

The regularity of getting rid of the sperm definiately helped SSG.

Thanks for all the positive comments Hags. Driz that's what I thought about CD9, surely they need to give me another few days on the stimms? Guess I will find out tomorrow when I talk to the consultant.

I've just heard from a fabulous former ESH who has comforted me with her IVF win story. She also had 4 follies, produced 3 eggs, then 2 embryos. One is frozen & the other one is asleep!

Quality not quantity that will be my mantra tomorrow.

I forgot to mention the most relieving bit of today - they didn't weigh me! Hurrah!

They took my weight and height as verbal when I was admitted but I was a bit like You can't really do my BMI, I'm diffed. Still it was 1am and I couldn't be arsed to argue! norf I'm ok,

Feeling oddly heavy-hearted this morning after yesterday's clinic stuff. It's at times like that that it would be so nice to be able to go home and just wind down a bit together, rather than a quick kiss at the station and then separate trains.

Frank we actually crossed posts! Hopefully we've said it gently but firmly enough to prevent yet another bunfight?! I do think you set yourself up for gender disappointment. People keep asking me if I know what I'm having and when I say 'Probably a girl' they're like 'Oh, that's what you really wanted isnt it?!'. Well I'm delighted but I'd have been delighted with a boy. At the scan I just cried with relief that its a healthy baybee! People are weird Definitely seems a ridiculous topic when one thinks about outsourcing. Like I've never heard that IUI is more likely to win a boy baybee by surely that'd be the case if Shettles is right?!

There were two Jethro Tulls. One indeed invented the seed drill. The other was a 70s rock star.

I feel admonished now because I was a bit less gentle . I think most Besh baybees are boys. Don't know if that's significant.

Norfy I feel a bit flat after my consent appointment too. I suppose it is the inevitability of it.

Came into work all glum and stressed about a busy day, and ALL my meetings have fallen through! I don't know what to do with myself. Probably all the work I've been putting off in the background, but sod that; I'm going to piss about in the shops for an hour instead.
