Ribs so lovely to hear from you and to hear that all is well and you got your BFP. Thx for sharing your story and advice.

Unfortunately I am one of those ones you mention in your last sentence!

ribs good to hear from you, especially when it's such good news.

littlemiss will try and join you tomorrow, I will be 13 dpo and af always arrives 13 dpo.

winkle are you testing soon or due af soon. I am sure we ovulated at the same time? Best of luck.

RedRobin1 · 18/01/2013 18:38

Ribs so lovely to hear from you - congratulations and really pleased you are at 14weeks now. I have taken the 2000mg epo and robitussin but didn't work for me :( yet! I'm carrying on with the robitussin as even without epo it's doing wonders for my CM.

Dh is also praying this time around that this month it's going to work!

fatasbutter · 18/01/2013 18:48

Ah here you all are!

Congratulations ribs!
What's the robitussin do?! Never heard of that one...

LittleMissSnowShine · 18/01/2013 18:48

when - woop! keeping everything crossed for you tomorrow :)

RedRobin1 · 18/01/2013 18:52

Fatas - robitussin is a cough syrup and it works by thinning out cm but you have to get the cough syrup with the guani.....something ingredient in it. It starts with a G, I cant spell it. It works thin out mucus but works same on CM and mine turns really fertile and watery.

Fx for you when!!! Hope she stays away.

twinklestar2 · 18/01/2013 19:01

Hi when, my monitor is saying AF is due as I'm 14 DPO according to it. I'm only on cd26 tho.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 18/01/2013 19:37

That does sound exciting twinkle. Did you once get to about 16dpo before af came? Really hope this is the one for both of us.

Thanks little and red I'm not getting too excited though as body is so far doing exactly what it does every month before af. My mind is still busy fabricating loads of symptoms. Slight nausea, tiredness and lots of burping. Only problem is I am a lot less nauseous and tired than I was a few days ago and the burping is entirely related to a spicey dinner I are an hour ago.

We will see what tomorrow brings.

fatasbutter · 18/01/2013 19:52

Oh fx for you both winkle and when!

Thingymajigs · 18/01/2013 20:06

Good luck when and twinkle. Smile I'm hoping we see a few BFP's before January is through.
Don't tell the fertility police but I'm enjoying a glass of wine. Last day of AF so I might as well get this wine finished before dtd starts again. Cheers everyone!

twinklestar2 · 18/01/2013 20:19

When I've been 30dpo and 19dpo before AF has come!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 18/01/2013 20:29

winkle 30dpo Shock. Crikey I knew it was a while but that takes the piss.

thingy enjoy the w

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 18/01/2013 20:34

Damn you iPhone

thingy enjoy the wine. You should have seen my consultants face when I told her how much I drink a week (bottle of wine and a g&t on average but waaaay more over Xmas). She was not impressed. I just told her straight I won't be ovulating till at least Jan 5th and I will stop drinking in Jan. She still wasn't happy but I live in the real world not some Gillian McKeith inspired puritan nightmare.

oops that turned into a big of a rant there, and now I want a drink

fatasbutter · 18/01/2013 20:47

Wow! You go girlfriend!!

RedRobin1 · 18/01/2013 21:00

Fingers crossed for winkle and when Smile really hope this is it for you both x

OP posts:
twinklestar2 · 18/01/2013 21:27

Thx girls for fingers and toes crossing :)

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 18/01/2013 21:58

Thanks girls but better just keep everything crossed for winkle I have just started spotting bright red blood. Af will be here by morning Sad.

Urgh to make matters worse, I have organised a surprise baby shower for 3 pregnant friends on Sunday. Really not looking forward to it now. Will have to put my game face on.

twinklestar2 · 18/01/2013 22:04

Oh so sorry when :( crap isn't it?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 18/01/2013 22:06

Thanks winkle. Ttc sucks. At least I know now. Really don't like the limbo thing. Dh said I was mad to take on the baby shower duties, said I would find it difficult.

RedRobin1 · 18/01/2013 22:46

So sorry when Sad ttc is very cruel. And if that's not enough the baby showers are even harder.

OP posts:
resipsa · 18/01/2013 23:23

Ah, when sorry. Have walked in those "maybe" shoes too many times (but never learn how not to fall from a great height). Hope shower snowed off or not too painful.
Fx winkle.
My DM started chemo this week so TTC taking a back seat in thought if not in action (CD6 & counting) plus it's nephew's birthday tomorrow + DD's 2nd on Sunday so lots to distract until CD14+.
