red symptoms what symptoms, are you willing to share details?

Sorry things didn't work out this month winkle but do think you should see the app as a positive thing, a step neerer your baby, I was one of those who got a bfp at first app for fertility tests with dd so will keep fingers crossed!
Ohh red sounds very exciting! What symptoms? Are we allowed to discuss?
Sorry for your letter wee, I had to cancel mine and it really is the pits, they should have better communication with each other as there's no reason you should upset the mum any more!

Aw sorry wee that must have been difficult for you.

Red - quietly getting excited at the symptoms for you :)

I'm considering having a month off ttc tbh

winkle hope you are one of those stories that get a BFP before the appt.

GPs are so useless sometimes wee sorry today must have been really hard for you.

when I am getting impatient with the 2ww. Mines almost 2 1/2 weeks and it just feels so long! almost like 3 weeks!

I have had a lot of symptoms post 7dpo but I am not getting excited. Will wait till AF is late before peeing on any sticks.

Just opened my mail ( addressed to my maiden name!) And it was booking in and scan dates for the midwife :( I thought the gp might have called them after I told her I mc . great now I need to call and cancel. Just what I needed after spending the morning at Ds class with 3 yes 3!! Newborns

fatasbutter · 25/01/2013 14:03

That's good winkle - best to get on with seeing them and then (as does happen) when you get pg in the meantime they will be happy for you too Smile

Good luck with the scan littlemiss Smile

Fx for everyone for the next few days and especially for a timely ov for wee when DH is home Wink

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 25/01/2013 10:03

Thanks littlemiss I hope it either helps or does nothing. I'll be kicking myself if I cock up a perfectly normal cycle.

twinkle I'm glad the app has arrived for you. Try and look at it as the next step towards the baby you will get.

red I hope time is going a big quicker for you. The 2ww is sooo stressful

LittleMissSnowShine · 25/01/2013 09:16

thingy - think you usually get 2 scans now, one at 12 weeks and one around 20 weeks. I had a couple of early ones in EPU this time tho cos of mmc last time and also the bleeding at the start of this pg I had one at 6 weeks and one at 8 weeks.

winkle - That's good the appointment had arrived and it's only a few weeks away but i'm sure you do feel kind of mixed emotions about it. You can sort of tick that box off in your mind tho, know the appt is coming up and try and not think about it again til then.

Good luck with the soy when and hope OV stays away until needed wee!

Good skills on the progesterone results, red.

Stay away OV till wee's oh gets home and that's an order!!

Will be joining you on the soy tomorrow when.

Got our letter from the docs today. Appt with fertility clinic on 20th Feb. not sure how I feel about it.

Well it's day two on the soy supplements. Not much happening at the moment, I got a slight niggly headache two hours after taking them (a bit like a caffeine withdrawal headache).

It could have been the supplements or I could have been getting a headache anyway. It's a good job I'm only on cd 6 dh has just flounced off to bed feeling ill. He used to be the brave one in this relationship but since dd came along he is a big wimp about getting sick.

I am away with work next week but should be back by Wed cd 12 so will start dtd then. note to self epilate legs they getting stupidly hairy

I'll make sure I check in to see how your scan goes little. How many scans do you get nowadays out of interest? I only got one with each pregnancy but I was low risk which probably makes a difference.
Fingers crossed for you when. I tried to look into the science of each supplement but there just wasn't anything definitive but anecdotal evidence seems to support the fact that it does affect hormones in some way so I hope it helps you.
Hope you see that positive OPK this weekend weechops
red thats a great result. I was exactly the same when I got my progesterone result back. For some reason I needed that definitive proof which really helped me to relax.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 24/01/2013 15:42

weechops fx you don't ov till the weekend. Make sure you pounce on your dh as soon as he gets in.

thingy I was a bit conflicted about trying soy supplements but have decided to give it a shot. I have a shortish lp (af 13 dpo) so my theory is that soy could give me more oestrogen pre ov and could lead to more progesterone post ov. I am hoping this could improve implantation.
This is all just wild speculation though. I really just want to try something different (and have more sex - I will have more sex).

RedRobin1 · 24/01/2013 14:53

I am still a week away from AF arriving / POAS thingy 8 dpo today. Time is going so slow.

good luck littlemiss let us know how the scan goes.

I had results of my 21 day blood work, which checks your progesterone levels to confirm ovulation. My levels came out at 38.6 and my GP said anything over 30 means you have ovulated. So I am relieved

Winkle I'm really sorry :( I'll definitely be at the virtual party for you when you get your bfp. I'll bring the non alcoholic champers :)

I'm just plodding on doing the opk's to see what's happening, and praying I dont ov til dh gets home next Friday!

thingy - i'm a big cheerleader for vitex, clears skin, regulates cycle, got me up the duff thrice. Good luck with it!

Back for an update tomorrow post-dating scan. Eep.

Hello, how is everyone? Who is up for poas next? Is it red?
I'm on CD 10 and trying to stop DP from trying to dtd every day to save his swimmers for later but tbh I'm worse than him. My hormones seem to have gone crazy. He's walking around proudly as though he's a martyr, sacrificing his dtd time for the greater good- the health of his swimmers. eyeroll
I'm quite interested to see how you get on with the soy supplements when. I've heard conflicting opinions on them. I'm trying vitex this cycle if for nothing else just to see if it helps clear up this mild acne that's appeared since I got off BCP.

So refreshing to hear a pregnancy story and not feel jealous. I know I shouldn't laugh at the poor woman's situation but I just can't help myself

resipsa sorry ivf is on hold at the moment but you are probably right you have too much going on at the moment to give it a go.

red you are right the horrible cycle of shaving and crying will be over for all of us soon to be replaced with knicker checking and vomiting

winkle I am up for a virtual party, fx its next month for both of u

I suddenly decided to take isoflavones this month, I am on cd 4 so it may be a bit late to start it but I figured what the hell.

Red that's well said and how I feel about IVF. We're not going ahead with it for now (just too much to cope with when DM having chemo) but if we have to and it works, I really won't care and all the angst about it will be forgotten.

Still, I want to be one of those stories where you get P just before it startsGrin

OBEM tonight! One friend produced DD2 last week & three due in next fortnight. It's all true about the baby boom!

What is it about Ovulation that stresses us out so much?! I am always relaxed at the beginning but the minute the opk turns +ve or temps start rising I become a ttc lunatic. Then comes anxiety and weeping in the 2ww and finally disappointment and anger when A shows up. Argh! Have to do it all over again. There will be one cycle which will be our last time to go through these emotions. One day res thingy when and winkle we will all just be happy Smile

P.S res count me down for that virtual party for winkle!
