I know what you mean about assuming people are pregnant when they don't drink. I keep reminding myself its January lots of people don't drink this month.

Read a stat yesterday: if you dtd once in a month you have a 3% chance if getting pregnant. If you dtd 20 times in a month you have a 40% chance.

Now that sounds like dedication twinkle. We managed 4 days in a row this month and that was definitely enough for me. I so hope this pays off for you.
I'm on 10dpo and I'm not feeling it this month. Temps aren't that high, although none of my other higher temp cycles resulted in a pregnancy anyway. We dtd perfectly so there's a chance but I'm preparing for AF on Monday. Where is everyone else at in their cycle?

red I'm glad tests have been looking good. Fwiw one of my friends ttc for 5 years and then got pregnant on first lot of clomid. She had dd same time as me (summer 2011) and is now due her second in June, with no intervention second time around. So I think it's a good drug

Fx thingy she stays away... Winkle the max DH and I have managed is 8 times a month. And that was at a push! So you are doing really well to keep going. Out of curiosity I just had a look at my prev cycles, and the month we had the CP was when we dtd 6 times in a SMEP pattern (how weird! I didnt even know about SMEP back then)

I don't think we are going manage much dtd as I am on CD10 with mild spotting from Hycosy, so not sure if we can dtd. I am not sore at all, just want the spotting to stop before we start shagging.

Another thing the consultant said to me is that my blood report showed 'subclinical hypothyroid' basically my TSH (thyroid level) is 3.7 which is normal for most women, but not for ones who are TTC. During TTC your levels should be 2.5 to avoid miscarriage. So I have to go on some pills to bring it down.

Sorry for such a long post - but brains a bit of a muddle today and feeling wee bit emotional. Just want to fucking get pregnant! Arrrgh! Why is this so hard for some of us?!

Well, I had bleeding over the weekend so I thought it was my pre-af spotting but as soon as Monday came it stopped so I did a test and got bfn of course and so thought that was that. But today there is still no bleeding and am having odd little twinges that don't really feel like af. And this evening my food tasted really funny too. Dh thought I was going mad when I kept making him eat my lovely dinner!! Anyway, I'm not sure what to think any more. I'm afraid to do a test because I don't want another bfn and yet afraid of a bfp because of having bleeding and funny pains, and of course having had a mmc in march too...

Noooo you're not being silly! So when is AF due? Things tasting funny is a good symptom. Do thou have a test in the house you could maybe do in the morning?

Plus the blood at the weekend was bright red. And my back hurts and I keep having little shabby pains - surely that can't all be promising even if there is a bfp
