Hopefully this is the last thread we start and all our dreams and wishes come true.

I'm 3dpo and my temperature has gone really high this cycle. I need to take the winter duvet off. We managed to dtd CD 7, 8, 11, 12, 13 and 14 (ov) before having a well deserved rest. This is the first time FF has said our intercourse pattern was 'high' instead of 'good' so I've got my fingers crossed.
Seems like a few of you are heading towards O too. Hope your back is ok twinkle. I feel like I have to book in with my DP too when. He has taken to examining my chart and memorising my fertile period though so I don't have to announce it each day which works much better for us.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 02/01/2013 12:50

Your dp sounds great thingy with the checking of the chart. Mine gets really put off by mentioning anything fertility related. I have to keep my mouth shut re ov tests etc.

RedRobin1 · 02/01/2013 13:08

thingy we do the same! we book in when to dtd excitedly every month like we are approaching the bloody christmas advent calendar - how sad is that! But it works for us Grin DH is very inquisitive about all that fertility stuff.

I like temping and its given me more confidence about when I ovulate and shows that my luteal phase is constant every month. It makes me feel a little more in control. I try not to temp all the time just CD10 to 12DPO because by then I know when I OVed or if I am likely to conceive.

twinkle try some deep heat or a hot bath if that helps and yeah go for the missionary.

kitten and wee I am still so excited about your bfps. How long have you guys been ttc? I am on cycle 9 and just want some hope.

OP posts:
Kittenkatzen · 02/01/2013 13:19

:o at booking in the month's worth of dtd in advance! I didn't mention ov to DH for the first few months, then he got all interested and wanted to know, but just recently he's been feeling the pressure and we actually came to an agreement the other day that I shouldn't mention it any more!

red this is cycle 9 for me, I really hope it's a lucky number for both of us!! I have shortish cycles though so timewise it's actually been 8 months (started ttc beginning of May)...

Just bought a cb digi and did it in the toilets at work classy. That's 3 POAexpensiveS in 24 hours..must stop now or I'll be bankrupt Confused

kittenskittenskittens · 02/01/2013 14:06

Kitten tests are addictive especially for first, I've always had to get a cb digi to confirm in writing Grin never wasted them when I hadn't tried a cheeper one first mind make sure you take a pic as its sad when the battery runs out!!
< bet you got a twin pack though didn't you?!Wink>

weechops · 02/01/2013 14:17

red this is cycle 7 for us. I honestly think that it was quantity not quality that worked for us ha! Although dh is sure he just has 'supersperm' Yeah they've not managed to catch my egg til now pal!

kitten i used the other digi that was in the pack today and am resisting the urge to go buy more!

Kittenkatzen · 02/01/2013 14:35

That's exactly it kittens I just really wanted to see it in writing rather then have the niggly thought that the line was a bit faint (and yes I bought the twin pack HA!)

wee it's a bloody expensive habit isn't it!

resipsa · 02/01/2013 14:39

Yeah kitten definitely take a pic (and another when it moves on to 2-3 weeks). I did one on hols so have a lovely pic of the French one saying "enceinte"!
I bet a lot of testing goes on in the workplace. Sometimes as I'm sitting there I wonder if anyone near me is getting good news (anything to avoid going back to my desk, you see).

kittenskittenskittens · 02/01/2013 14:49

Would it make you feel better if I told you I had used 9 this time Blush I got 4 of the digi as wanted to make sure it was going up!
I hate to imagine how much I've spent on pregnancys this year but know its in the hundreds! Eek

LittleMissSnowShine · 02/01/2013 15:04

kitten - yep nothing like seeing the words on a digi instead of looking at a line and wondering if it' dark enough / getting darker etc Xmas Grin congrats again!!

winkle - sorry about your back, hope a hot water bottle and careful dtd helps!

wee - my DH also convinced of same thing lol Oh my wife has pcos, irregular cycles, a toddler to look after and a part time job which means a lot of early starts. and had a mmc in.last few months? Challenge to get her up duffed accepted etc. Groan

Good news for us at hospital today - scan showed 8+4 baby, good heartbeat, growing at the right rate, limb buds appearing, picked up immediately on scan without nervous seconds ticking by!! As long as no more bleeding, I wont have to go back now til booking appointment in about 3 weeks. Woo hoo!

So yes, I will start us a grads thread for kiwi, mrsbri, belissimalol, kitten, wee*, me, anyone i've left out and of course with LOTS of room for EVERYONE (and i do mean everyone!) on here to come and join us!! Its nice to have a continuation of our support group, esp cos ante natal threads can get so hectic and cos we hav all had a tough enough ttc ride not to take things for granted so, for example, while many ladies would be extremely peeved to be feeling as sick as i am im weirdly pleased cos in my case it means things are going well!! I'll post link here in a mo xx

resipsa · 02/01/2013 15:05

LittleMissSnowShine · 02/01/2013 15:11

res - Agreed...and toddlers!! My DS is beung a bit of a picky eater at the mo and the amount of money I'm having to spend on healthyish food that is also acceprable to the wee monkey is like nothing else!!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 02/01/2013 15:12

NINE kittens?! you win! so far..... :o

Thingymajigs · 02/01/2013 15:41

Great news about the scan little Smile It's reminding me that the worry and waiting doesn't stop at conception. Which is actually quite helpful because I realise that I might as well just relax now.
I love the new thread idea too. Can't wait until we are all over there comparing bump measurements and scan results. Smile

resipsa · 02/01/2013 16:05

kitten - incinta - I like the way it sounds! Bet they have CB digis!

Kittenkatzen · 02/01/2013 16:07

twinklestar2 · 02/01/2013 16:33

fatasbutter · 02/01/2013 19:34

Oh I want to join the new Fred too!! Me me me!! Shock

twinklestar2 · 02/01/2013 20:24

Us too red! We have given up drinking and smoking, cut back on the teas and coffees and gone organic. Please work please!

From where I'm lying I can see our wedding photo from 18 months ago. Who would have thought we would still be trying for our first baby?
