The femmes fatales of the BESH are lying back and thinking of England

As witches and pumpkins become old hat, the BESH are scrubbing up well in salute to James Bond in general and Skyfall in particular. Put on your slinky cocktail dresses and stiletto heels, grab a Martini, and start schmoozing with well-dressed secret agents.

Insta-diffs will be shot with a quip but without a qualm. Anyone else wanting to join can dodge a few bullets post the BESHtionnaire.

Precisely, slipperynipple.

On my way home now after a day at the ILs. I do hope I have clean knickers for work tomorrow, or it's going to be an emergency M&S dash on the way in.

raspberrytipple · 28/10/2012 21:19

But northey it's not New Year sales yet? You can only buy pants from m&s in the post Christmas sales, it's like the law or something. And then you have to discuss the purchases with the really old lady in the queue next to you who insists on telling you inappropriate things.....or is that just me that happens to?

I'm off to bed, it's feels like 1030!!

SinkyGoodenplenty · 28/10/2012 21:28

That's just you I think slipperynipple

(I intend to make this name run and run until you change to a bond feeme one)

I was wondering why I'm so sleepy. It's bloody 11pm according to my body clock. On that basis, think I'll head to bed.

Northey · 28/10/2012 22:12

Do the cheapie packs of five ever even go into the sale, nips?

Am knackered too, sinky. Ugh.

MissWinklyParadiso · 29/10/2012 07:39

Barely slept wondering if there were clean norf-knicks

Droidal pain didn't help, mind, but mostly it was pants suspense :)

Northey · 29/10/2012 07:41

Well you will be happy to know that my arse is safely embraced by a pair of sparkly clean knicks.

Sorry for droidal woe

FrankelDeBeauvoir · 29/10/2012 07:54

Are you on your way to work Norf? Take it easy young lady, don't feel you need to jump straight back in to full-steam-ahead.

Northey · 29/10/2012 08:20

Yup. Feeling a little anxious but basically in control. Task 1 on arrival - phone occupational health and discuss how they support re-entry after extended sick leave...

maamalady · 29/10/2012 09:06

Morning all. Hope you have a good day back, norf.

It is not too miserable here today, hoorah, it's been so gloomy for days seeing the full moon was the most sunlight we'd had... So, I am trying to motivate myself to go out on my bike. Maybe I should turn it ino a Bond bike, with blades in the hubs to slash the tyres of inconsiderate drivers.

Morning Bond-schlags.

raspberrytipple · 29/10/2012 12:27

Ok, I'm on my phone at the moment but when I get in tonight if I can workout how to name change I shall morph into 'MissSlap'n'tipple'. I shall have massive norks that fire tranquillisers and pants that also function as a parachute :)

I rather like Bugsygalore.

KFZK is pants at taking anything. He gets through one packet to about 6 of mine. I've given up.

But in happier news I just got my annual medical results. The one result they couldn't give me on the day was my smear. And it has come back clear! Given it was rated as a mild abnormality in my May smear, and mild to moderate when the gynae repeated it in June, I am hugely relieved that this one is clear. It still showed the presence of high risk HPV but I hope this is a sign that my body is fighting it off! I am so, so glad that I refused treatment in August. And I now don't need to lie to the IVF clinic about my last smear! Phew.

FrankelDeBeauvoir · 29/10/2012 15:28

Hurrah Euro, that's fantastic news [hgrin] You obviously have an impressive immune system!

Bugs, I vote Bugsygalore too.

I am menkulling away over here: my left nip feels funny Blush. It keeps tingling Hmm Of course, being 3 dpo it's an obvious diffage indicator

In other news, my BF is being induced today. She's now 2 weeks overdue and they've had enough of waiting for baybee to put in an appearance!

Northey · 29/10/2012 16:36

Woo hoo for a sparkly cervix, euro! Nicely judged, missshagmore.

I vote bugsygalore as well.

Northey · 29/10/2012 16:38

A funny feeling left nipple was my first sign last year, frankel!

Northey · 29/10/2012 19:48

The nigella recipe? Is it nice??

FrankelDeBeauvoir · 29/10/2012 20:17

No, the James Martin one. I don't know how it differs from Nigella's, but tis scrumptious Grin

MissSlapAndTipple · 29/10/2012 21:22

So there we go......my first ever mumsnet name change......

bugs I definitely vote Bugsygalore!

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2012 21:38

norf hope the first day back was ok and you got your return sorted alright.

congrats to euro's fanjo for healing itself [hgrin]

EuroShagmore · 29/10/2012 22:54

I love it that a bunch of internet strangers are congratulating me for getting rid of the fanny verrucae. The wonders of mumsnet!

Thanks ladies. Group hug?

Northey · 30/10/2012 07:13

Stop trying to find excuses to have a grope, euro.

I hope ariel is ok, with her father and everything.
