The femmes fatales of the BESH are lying back and thinking of England

As witches and pumpkins become old hat, the BESH are scrubbing up well in salute to James Bond in general and Skyfall in particular. Put on your slinky cocktail dresses and stiletto heels, grab a Martini, and start schmoozing with well-dressed secret agents.

Insta-diffs will be shot with a quip but without a qualm. Anyone else wanting to join can dodge a few bullets post the BESHtionnaire.

Ah, nice to see some of our undercover agents have checked in Wink

The sechs was achieved last night, though I bottled the "not a lot under my trench coat" plan. I did stick on a short dress, fishnets & heels though Grin He didn't notice till we got home anyway, so my efforts would have been wasted Hmm

According to this mornings temps I haven't ov'd yet. Nurse said it would be today, so we'll see if she was right tomorrow morning! I don't know if these drugs affect temps though, so it may be pointless charting temps! I have to go for a blood test on 2 Nov to confirm ov and I'm to test on 11th November if droid hasn't showed up.

AMNH has just been called to go for his IVF blood tests! Eek! Ooh! Aah! I wasn't expecting anything to happen for ages. This is cheering. Almost as cheering as being shagged in the back of an Aston Martin.

Hello Hags. Good going with The Sechsing everyone & loving the name changes!

Euro the needles do some Strange Things. I try not to think about it.

For the first time ever I am willing the droid to arrive so I can phone the clinic to order my drugs. Bring on the IVF.

no more sex for me so far today but hopefully another quickie tomorrow morning and I reckon I'm covered. Surge is over - I pee'd on an OPK this morning and it wasn't as strong as the two lines I got yesterday. I've had a rather exciting day today though, we had a break in overnight and our safe was raided! They forced a window but had a key for the safe! inside job......we had CSI there and everything. Then I went to the drs and found out that I've never had my 5th tet/dip/polio jabs as a child so ended up having those today and I now have a sore arm :( Got to go back next week for MMR which I also never had.

Hope droid shows up soon for you jethro so you can get going.

northy being shagged in the back of an aston martin could be fun - but not practical......I still would though if it was Daniel Craig bond. God he's fit.

Frankel did you place a bet with the nurse about when you might Ov? I think I would have had to :)

urrghhh I feel rough, I need wine!

EuroShagmore · 26/10/2012 23:36

No one my age had MMR. I had my rubella jab when I was about 12. And I suffered through mumps and measles as a child.

I think we have acquired a mouse. We have heard rustlings from the kitchen tonight. We had one a couple of years ago (just the one and we got rid of it). I'm surprised we don't get more - the storeroom for our local minimarket backs onto our mews about 20m from our front door and that must be mouse heaven. I wish the humane traps worked, but they never seem to. So we will be picking up the evil kind tomorrow to get the little fvker before it breeds. (We'll buy the humane ones too but I don't hold out great hopes for them preferring them.)

Spies...... what is your view on exercise in TWW? I just pee'd on a stick and if it's to be believed I've officially ovulated yesterday as there is only a faint second line on OPK today. I reeeeeeaaaallly want to do a weights workout this afternoon as my chest muscle is starting to ease off nicely (pulled it earlier this week). I also do about three hrs pole dancing a week. I can't find anything on t'int that actually says what we should and shouldn't do exercise wise during TWW, only forums with people asking or conflicting stuff. After three years I can't see what difference it will make but y'know, I don't want to be beating myself up all the damn time. What do we reckon or does anyone have any links. I really want to do some sit ups/press ups too.....

Also - had a letter from consultant to say my CA125 test came back raised so Endo is probably back after lap and Diathermy in April. Great. I suppose it explains a pain I've been getting in my right side groin. They don't want to do another lap just yet, they'll reassess in February I suppose.

Sorry to hear you have a visitor Euro. I don't like mice, they are just too little and I worry I will squash them. Im not sure whether like rats though in that they don't have a bladder or anything so just wee/poo constantly?

Howdy. Well, i went on a pretty long run this morning. Was about 1degree at the start- my favourite running weather is this brisk cold with autumn sun. I really can't think that it would be a problem. My running club will let you tag along in the first trimester if you want.

Surely any egg thats going to stick, is going to stick, no matter how much pole dancing you do (maybe a bit of upside down hanging might help? Arf). I think the biggest problem would be that, if you did miscarry, you'd always wonder and doubt yourself.

Just back from my needles man. Even nicer in cold weather to get the heat lamp treatment! Can't go for a bit now though. This i'll miss it!

Currently about cd29. Have a heavy womble feeling. Maybe droid? Would be delighted. (for newbys, any cycle in my world is a good cycle, even if means I'm still not diffed)

I want a BESH meet up now, with pole dancing.

Report
raspberrytipple · 27/10/2012 16:15

Well, I would definately be giving up pole if I got diffed as the chance of falling is a bit too high to risk but am more worried about sticky eggs but you are probably right, if it wants to stick it will.

I am happy to bring my pole to any BESH meet..... not sure Bond has ever bonked a pole dancer though has he? I may be damaging my chances in more ways than one....

Just got back from watching Skyfall. It was amazing, I recommend going to see it ASAP before you hear any spoilers [hgrin]

Skyfall was brilliant. First half perhaps a bit better than the second, but that's mostly nit-picking, as it's all fab.

Going back to work tomorrow and a strange mixture of glum/in a tizz.

How do you feel about work Norf? Maybe have a chat with your boss and see if you can ease yourself back in?

Pretty sure I've ov'd now as temp jumped up again this morning. Assuming ov was on Friday, we did the sechs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and will do it again later for luck, so we've given it as good a shot as we can! If this cycle fails we'll take a break for the next one (as in no treatment) because HWHNN is away on business for 2 weeks during November.

BF still hasn't dropped her baby. She's had 3 sweeps and midwife reckons she is making slow progress but she will be 2 weeks overdue tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed they'll let her make some more natural progress, but, as she said, baby arriving safely is the main thing, however it has to happen.

Well done of the run sinky. As you can see below, rasberry I am off the exercise in TWW. I did loads with my BFP (I tailed off rapidly afterwards but that was due to achy boobs mainly).

Excellent sechsing frankel. And yay for well-timed egg. If this one doesn't work, we can be cycle buddies in September, because that is when we get to start to play again.

Massive good luck at work tomorrow, norf! Is there anything that can be done to make it less daunting?

Just popped over the AN fred, which I think was brave. Yay about BESHbabes though.

I am knackered, we walked over 10 miles in autumny woods yesterday. And today I went for a run, baked banana bread and did all the washing. And we did the sechsing, despite it being cd15 and I am sure I produced an egg when we weren't seching cos SB was away, but it was fun all the same. Unfortunately there is a lot washing-up to be done, another wash to be hung and then... The PiLs. Oh and I was meant to do some work. Details.

I exercise as normal in the 2ww. When I had IUI I was told to take it easy in the 2ww but my IVF clinic said carry on as normal, so it seems there is no consensus.

I've had a veh nice drunken night staying with friends. It's always a little emotional because they started trying for their youngest a month after we started trying. She's one next month. But we had a great weekend. There was a hearty dinner, cake, a lot of wine, drunken pumpkin carving and a walk in the country this morning to try to blow away the hangovers. Their older child LOVES KFZK. He always makes a beeline for him. It's lovely to see.
