The femmes fatales of the BESH are lying back and thinking of England

As witches and pumpkins become old hat, the BESH are scrubbing up well in salute to James Bond in general and Skyfall in particular. Put on your slinky cocktail dresses and stiletto heels, grab a Martini, and start schmoozing with well-dressed secret agents.

Insta-diffs will be shot with a quip but without a qualm. Anyone else wanting to join can dodge a few bullets post the BESHtionnaire.

Anyone watching the fifteen kids and counting programme? It was on the other night but I missed it then. The woman is 36, never takes more than a month to get pregnant, and her eldest is 22. Is my maths at fault but does this mean that she had her when she was 14?

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 20/11/2012 21:11

The best thing about being diffed is not having to do any buttons on your trousers. Slidey slide. Fact! :)

Actually pickle wasn't win through futile shagging but (based on dates) on a woo hoo we're on holiday shag early in the cycle.

Pure lurve and unexpected moments of passion make me want to puke!

alwyn · 20/11/2012 21:16

But would the subsequent droid have made it worse, euro?

MissWinklyParadiso · 20/11/2012 21:20

15 kids? Her fanjo must be completely cavernous.

faith if you look at almost all my non-work wardrobe you will find that buttons are totally optional for the non-diffed too! did not spend all of Sunday in pyjamas, oh no

I bit my tongue with PWITO because she is very bloody helpful and though she is now banned from doing a lot of stuff, there are a lot of uses I can put her to.

Oh euro you poor thing. Do you not maybe think that seeing that line then seeing it vanish might have been even worse than shitty-horrible-dreadful?

So far none of my friends have embraced ridiculous FB name changes. However a friend of a friend has a name along the lines of "Joan 'BobsMummy' Smith" and tags my friend in all her baby pictures, makes me a bit stabby.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 20/11/2012 21:22

So, Christmas. Does anyone else get really irrationally pissed off that relatives don't get them presents because they have asked you not to give presents to anyone other than the children, when you are actually barren and don't have any children? I am certainly not materialistic, but this seems to be rubbing my face in it :(

MissSlapAndTipple · 20/11/2012 21:37

What is with the abundance if 'oh I got a faint line....what does it mean' threads tonight.

Is anyone else watching the science thing with dara o'brien and thinking pandas are just a massive evolutionary cock up, cute as they are. They just don't stand a chance bless 'em.

Northey · 20/11/2012 21:55

You could always test now, euro. If it is an early loss, you might still have enough hcg to see a line. But then you might have the agony of wondering if it was a pretendy period and it might be a viable diffment after all. Which would be a lovely bloody headfuck.

MissWinklyParadiso · 20/11/2012 21:56

rie I don't currently have that problem fortunately, as aunt-with-children always gets me a present, and uncle-with-children has gotten me a selection box since I can remember. Yes he usually puts money or a gift voucher in it, but the selection box is the point. I may or may not have sulked the year I got the gift voucher and not the selection box.

slaps I can only attribute that to short days addling people's brains. I am now watching Masterchef. However I can no longer watch people separate eggs, as all I see is pant snot.

EuroShagmore · 20/11/2012 22:34

I feel empathy for pandas. I am lazy, a really fussy eater and about as fertile as one.

MissSlapAndTipple · 20/11/2012 22:36

Oh euro that just made me laugh a dark laugh. I made a similar observation about myself and pandas earlier too. I'm not as cute as a panda though so they have that over me already :)

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 20/11/2012 22:37

Pandas are better than me. At least they are fertile for three days a year.

MissWinklyParadiso · 20/11/2012 22:41

I am :( that pandas are making everyone so :(

PMd you euro

maamalady · 21/11/2012 00:12

Pandas deserve to go extinct. Trying to keep a bear alive on bamboo is insane.

euro, surely testing would only have made current droid worse?

Moments of pure lurve can feck right off too. I had a lovely evening with friends tonight, including three single men. Not a scan photo or baby-mention all night, it was wonderful :)

Checking in from my parents house. It's pissing with rain in Bristol!

Just seen the "The possibility there is" thread in conception Angry. Poor thing, she's been ttc since September and really wants to be pregnant and Angry. I have refrained from telling her to come back when she's been ttc for over a year and then she'll have something to complain about!

MissWinklyParadiso · 21/11/2012 09:33

Pissing with rain in London as well frank

EuroShagmore · 21/11/2012 11:22

Yep, raining here.

Draf I dunno. I would just like to see that second line to know that my body can start to do what it needs to even if it cannot get all the way there. Anyway, KFZK posted my period to Greece this morning for infection testing. Let's hope it doesn't leak. Euch.

BTW, I suffered the ultimate ttcers? indignity this morning - being sold sanitary protection by a heavily pregnant woman in Boots.

The second day of my period is always the heaviest and most painful. All I want to do is curl up somewhere warm with a hot water bottle and chocolate. Instead, this evening I have to get in a cold swimming pool with a very heavy tank of gas strapped to me and tvvat about. I specifically booked the course around my period so this wouldn't happen. And then my body decided to fvk with me.

FrankelDeBeauvoir · 21/11/2012 11:29

If anyone is feeling down go and visit the "Nest of Vipers" thread in Chat. Some heartwarming stories and you lot might get an honourable mention Wink

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 21/11/2012 11:54

Muchos rainus here too :( been for my first needles appointment. They can only do 4 into my leg but the first session was free and they will block book 5 sessions for £50 (bargain right?!) so I'm going to give it a whirl (pending how today feels).

euro I'm sorry for the super sucky timing and the indignity of the shopping trip :(

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 21/11/2012 14:03

I have received the following PM and am Cross:
"Hi there, have you thought about having reflexology treatment to help you conceive naturally? It can be excellent for fertility issues as well as pregnancy health. Have a look at www.reflexology4women.co.uk
Wishing you all the best
Maggie"

Has anyone else? I've reported it.

maamalady · 21/11/2012 14:33

No, I haven't, but Shock and Angry that someone had the nerve to send it!

OP posts:
MissWinklyParadiso · 21/11/2012 14:33

Nope re even the spammers hold no hope for me.

I must be full to the brim of pmt because my job is making me feel so sad today. Bloody burden of proof.

MissWinklyParadiso · 21/11/2012 14:34

Nope rie

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 21/11/2012 14:38

She has also popped up on another thread in Conception telling people to message her if they want to know about reflexology. I replied to her PM very crossly saying I didn't appreciate being sent unsolicited spam/advice and she said she never meant to offend. Tough, bitch. I have reported you anyway.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 21/11/2012 14:51

This thread is making me a bit sad. All I want to do is post "Count yourselves bloody lucky."

MissWinklyParadiso · 21/11/2012 14:55

I knew what thread that was going to be before I clicked your link. Some people are so un-bloody-grateful. They've won a baybee and have someone to spend time with during maternity leave and instead they're acting like an X Factor contestant who's been told another act is singing the same song first Angry
