mm i dont, i would have said day20 but then yiy dropped again on day 25 and day 30 but one could be a implantation, unless youve had a lot of stress becuse then you have a big rise on day 32, so it could be delayed ovulation.
have you tested?

havent tested yet.i give it till mon.could be a long cycle after my c-section.thats why i am expecting af anyday now

I'm confused today. Positive I OVed on CD15, and my temps went:

CD15 36.3
CD16 36.6

So that was fine. but then today it fell again to 36.39.

You have to have 3 raised temps in a row don't you?

Temps from beginning have been:

CD6: 36.3
CD7: 36.2

You can pretty much discount CDs 9-13 as I was on holiday and sleep patterns were pretty disturbed.

no, i had my c-section in December but didnt have my first cycle until this one.Why,does it make a difference?
i knew that when i was b/feeding my cycles were really erratic, as long as 35 or 36 days, but this time i am not b/feeding any more.gave up 2 months ago

I have no idea if it makes a difference - just wondered when you'd had your bundle.

I'm sure it must take your body ages to get back to normal.

why do they say on Fertility friendly not to wait for a rise in temp to have sex but do have sex a few days before the rise. i thought that if you have sex on the day your temp shift then you can catch the egg on time?and for up to 48 hrs?

if you get the rise it may be too late to do bding as it means that you have ovulate

hopecat have you temp other months, as its very low temps, i would say youve not ovulated yet, whitch is normal

The thing is, though, I always get AF on day 28. If I haven't OVed, that's an incredibly short gap.

I've been taking temps at different times in the morning. Yesterday (the high one) was at 8:00am. Today was at 7:15am.

Think I'm going to start doing it vaginally next month. I work at different times each day, and I'm buggered if I'm going to set my alarm for 7am when I don't have to wake up that early.

This is exactly the state I got into last time I temped. Think maybe it's not for me...

Remember that your temp will rise after you ov not while you ov (this was pointed out to me when I was being over keen with my calulations by the NFP nurse)

Hopecat do you use a digital thermometer? with mine I can take my temp and it stores it for the rest of the day. I basically have my alarm set for 6:30 when it goes off. I stick it in my mouth wait for the beeps turn it off and then go back to sleep for another twenty minutes. I then look at it later in the day.
I was told that your temp will rise roughly a . of a degree for each half hour you are awake.It won't make any difference to your temp whether you do it orally, vaginally or anally as long as you do it at the same time. You have to be very disciplined.
You only need to look at the first three numbers for your temp ignore the fouth so if your temp is 36.45 you would record it as 36.4 and mark it right in the middle of the box
Fresco, your biggest rise seems to be around day 32 although I may just be confused by the numbers.
Hopecat you may have oved but with a disturbed sleep pattern it just may not show on the temps (alcohol and painkillers can also disrupt it and it is important to log this on your chart so you know.) are you tracking CM too this can really help indicate fertile times.

Hi Peachy.

I assumed it was because of the disturbed sleep on the hol that my temps have been all over the place.

Think I may not bother next month. I have EWCM & OV cramps + OV sticks. I do have a digital thermometer, but it's the Boots one, and it doesn't wake you up.

Also, once I'm awake I'm awake. I wouldn't go back to sleep, and from what I've read on the 'what advice would you give yourself' chat thread, I really think I should enjoy my peaceful mornings while I can!

How long after your C section is it? Are you breast feeding? As this can have an effect on your temps. The book I have has a chapter on it if you want a look at it I could do a sneaky photocopy at work for you. I'll post an email if you are interested.

hmm trace you did have a definate rise on day 15 and 17 but the dip inbetween is very straneg
could it be that you are producing the hormone but just not enough to get the egg going?? - thats real speculation but..

trace2, I would say it looks like you had your rise on day 15 as all the temperatures after that are higher than the coverline, even though they are not particularly high.

rubles, yes thats what i though too,and just relized (silly me) been on anitbiotics, when its gone up today stopped taking them yesterday morning, wonder if that made any diffrence.

peachy you could also be right as my body as no idea whats going on

Trace the antibiotcs probably did have an effect on your temps which maybe why they are all quite similar
