Ooh wedding talk, fun! nic in my opinion "cakes" is always better than "cake" :o I also got married twice, and actually had it pretty much perfect both times - both were abroad with a very small group and I'd do the same again (not that I intend to!). My top wedding tips would be to be bold with your make up otherwise you'll look washed out in the photos....and don't be scared to SMILE for the camera - I was terrified of looking like some mad grinning woman all day and had possibly been watching too much ANTM before hand and I ended up looking downright miserable in some our our photos!

CD15 here and we have dtd a grand total of once so far, on CD12!

Hope you have a very exciting and fun week as a single lady nic I second what everyone says about wedding pics, smile loads and yes do take lots of pics with hubs and you. I got camera shy eventually and now just have 1 good pic of DH and me together and its not even a full length one, so can only see top of my dress. So make sure you get lots of pics which show off your dress with DH.

The build up to weddings is so exciting :) I wish I could do mine all over again. We had bad weather and lots of wind on my wedding day and my hair looks terrible. No amount of hairspray helped :(

I agree. I had loads of pics. Some formal and some informal ones. And also a good hair and make up. Also think what your hair looks like from the back as this is what ppl will see!

Our wedding was nice but the weather was shocking! Chucking it down with rain and so windy. It was a 'sign though that the rain stopped when I arrived and when we were leaving :) there's a fab picture of me holding my dress up and the wind catches it and you can see my garter. Very windswept but amazing photo. I indulged a bit and have a page full of me in different poses, closeups etc as I thought I'm never gonna look this good again ha! Oh I'm all excited for you Nic!

Had some more acupuncture today - always feel really good after having it. Went to see a nutritionist as well so I'm going to make a few changes to my diet.

nic it sounds like you are very organised! My only advice (from my own wedding day) is from time to time just take a step back and watch everyone enjoying themselves - it's such a special thing to see.

Thanks for the support girls. Yey iv got a cycle buddy. Hope this is a 6 wk cycle or earlier. I may go in2 meltdown in a couple of weeks as it'll b the same time last year I found out I was pregnant. Albeit unsuccessfully.

I'm getting v excited bout your wedding @nic. The only thing I would do differently about my wedding is not marry the lying prick. Had a lovely day tho. I'm clearly not with him anymore. Dp is soo much nicer.

Personally I like the informal photos best, when u aren't looking at the camera. I'm keeping everything crossed for goodthe weather for you.

@woody. Iv been having acupuncture for a few months now. Where does your guy stick the pins? My acupuncturist is very eccentric which makes me wonder if he knows what he's doing, in between kung foo moves and burning my stomach with moxer, or whatever it is. [Omg emoticon]

I had reflexology before and i ended up pg with ds but havent given acupuncture a go...yet!!

Yay at all this wedding chat, im going to get tearful again, dont know why, weddings always make me weepy!! Make sure your friends take loads of casual snaps too, nic - some of my fav wedding pics (they even made it into the album!) are the dance floor ones that friends snapped. Love them, everyone just having a ball :)

strangely timed af is pretty heavy which would be normal for me so this is first normal(ish) af since mc so trying to look on the bright side and hoping things might be getting back in balance again...

chilledmonkeyribs I've only had two sessions so far but the first time, the needles were in my back as she was doing a bit of a health check. Today, they were in my feet and legs!

I appear to be getting a cold too, which isn't great timing.

Why have my boobs not stopped hurting yet? Started just before OV and still hurt. I don't like sore boobs!

Ummm...6. They've been constantly sore though, which makes me think it's nothing. H2B is appreciating the slightly bigger and heavier boobs though!

Ooh sore boobs def sounds like a symptom - because getting pg with ds was a bit of a surprise i wasnt symptom spotting at all but if i had been on the look out sore boobs would have been a def give away...fx for u :)

I had awfully sore boobs the cycle I think I had a chemical pregnancy (faint second line Thurs, AF Fri). But only the week leading to AF.

This time they've been sore since before OV and every day since.

Part of me wants to test before the wedding so I can give the stick to Bri with a ribbon round it on the day if we are successful. But not drinking would be a giveaway at a time I wouldn't want people to know!

Last month (although it didn't work out) I had twinges in my boobs from ov to finding out I was pg.

That would be such a lovely present! But not drinking might be a give away, although when I got married, I didn't feel like drinking at all on my wedding day...or eating! Which is very unlike me.

Being off food would be very odd for me! I could probably get round it by saying I want to remember it clearly or something.

I've also had intermittent cramping from 3dpo which is a new one for me!

I prob would be v tempted to test early too! You'll prob be wanting to avoid the booze anyway even if u havent tested just in case but anyway no one will really botice if you're drinking or not, you'll be so busy getting your photo taken, chatting to people, dancing... I think i only managed half a glas of wine, one champagne & a couple of g&ts at my wedding cos i was too busy to go the bar! Fx for u :)

Dh away for weekebd so having a sleepover lol.one of my friends and her ds are coming to stay. Wine, chinese, cheesy movie, cant wait. Back to dtd on Monday when af is gone & dh gets back
