Hi littlemiss I think I joined the June thread that you left, possibly just lurking for a bit at first. I'm so sorry you've had to come back here. I hope you don't need to be here for long? Whereabouts in cycle are you?

Sitting here in agony with cramps :( af got me last night at bedtime cd28. It's looking likely I'm going to have to ask dh to take time off in December and spend the whole time bonking! I'm not getting down, there's no point so pma all the way :)

Sorry about AF weechops, its shitty isn't it especially with the cramps, the only way I ever feel better about it is to think of it as a shiny new cycle, and at least I know where I am rather than the previous week or so of agonising as I never know exactly when its going to show so don't know if I'm late or not! Time off in December sounds like a fab idea, I'm sure work and associated tiredness is our biggest barrier to TTC!
Sunshine and Littlemiss I have PCOS and long cycles of 32-40 days, its a right pain especiallly when dh can't be arsed ie on a school night, although hes been a trooper this month, not sure whats got into him! I think maybe hes realising that his assumption that as soon as we stopped using bc we would be updiffed (cos thats what the sex ed people tell you, and all the people he knows with kids got preggo immediately, cos of course they would speak to him about long time TTC and infertility, yeah right) How long are your cycles?
I like the new pma, hopefullly will convert into lots of BFPs!

Argh sorry she got you wee :( AF is so cruel - not only does she dash our hopes of a BFP she brings agonising cramps with her! Beyatch!

Cd16 and the monitor says peak so it's all systems go go go!!

I know what you mean by the milestones. I wanted a BFP by Xmas last year, then 1st wedding anniversary... Now it looks like it might not be Xmas this year. I really don't know how we're coping every day.

sorry about AF arriving weechops hope the cramps subside soon. She has her evil ways to make us feel the pain. As if its not enough hurt that we are not getting BFPs we have to have the cramps too!

I am def out for a June baby - if I conceive this month it will be an early July baby, even younger in class.

I have been wondering this for awhile but what does PMA mean?

teaandcakes / sunshine - pre-mc my cycles were around 33 days which isn't too bad and I could usually tell from cm etc. when I was going to ov, which was usually around cd 19 / 20. After erpc I had a complete wtf cycle in August which went on for about 6 weeks and then I had v light AF. Now I'm on around cd 22 but this cycle has been v weird. Firstly v short, v light AF when it's usually pretty heavy for me. And then no cm pretty much at all this month. So a couple of days ago I took a pg test to make sure (cos u never know), and cos it was bfn I decided to start taking agnus castus again to see if that would kind of kickstart things for me, because i was taking it when I got pg in June and also when I got pg with DS in 2010. Anyway, I've only been taking it a few days and I've had quite a lot of spotting which has kind of turned into breakthrough bleeding and cm is back. I guess this is another wtf cycle which is a bit frustrating since it's been 9 weeks since mc but just going to keep taking the agnus castus, try and keep to a healthy diet and keep calm and carry on shagging. Wish I knew what was going on though!!

red - PMA..postive mental attitude Grin

winkle- go on u girl u! peak physique!

I wish winkle! Much better than I was (4 stone better now!) but still far from skinny. I am eating a nectarine though, despite there being a box of quality street behind me. No one in this office likes the creams which is awful cos they are my favourite. I can't resist a whole box of cream quality streets behind me and I can't see them thrown away! It's torture!

No need to worry about summer babies if you ask me. I was a mid-Sept one and put in the year up so was always "young" in my year (big school at 10, O levels at 15, A levels at 17). It never bothered me and I turned out OK, I think...

I'm not mega slim or particularly healthy. I do exercise 3/4 times per week though.
I'm detoxing this week with juices and soups only to try and shed holiday weight.
I tend to drink at weekends, not much but will have wine with dinner etc. decided not to give everything up due to ttc or ill drive myself insane!

Ah! PMA :) I have a lot of that right now.

Does happiness count as a method to get pregnant quick? I had a very happy day today. Things are going well at work and in my personal life (bar the lack of BFP) but I am really really happy. Lots of good conversations with my mates, I am grinning and I haven't felt this happy since we started ttc. I am just hoping all this happiness = more positive feeling and less pressure on ttc = BFP :)

Awww red that's lovely Smile long may it continue!

I'm not particularly slim or healthy either! I'm tall though and carry weight quite evenly which is good on the one hand but a pita when it comes to losing weight as it takes an age to see any results Sad I do 2/3 yoga classes and 1 spin class a week. Diet is pretty awful though.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 03/10/2012 18:13

That's really nice, red...fx it brings results :-)

I'm relatively slim after losing 2 stone last year and I try to eat healthily too. If I want cake / wine etc, I have it though!

I also have height on my side, Kitten, which is useful.

Red - i am the same, feelung really happy with everything except mc and lack of bfp, hopefully happy = pma = bfp

Winkle - i was in great shape before i got pg in june, size 12 clothes were feeling a bit loose, zumba twice a week, healthy diet, multi vits etc. Been feeling grim since, 6 weeks of hyperemesis followed by a d&c, drained, tired, bit anemic and chubbier :( :( boobs had already gone up a cup size in june and they havent gone back down. Making a better effort from here on in tho. Hopefully Wink

Sorry weechops I know it's hard but join us on a shiny new positive cycle.

After trying to be all relaxed I'm going to try the other way this time ... LOTS of shagging and winkling and tinkling and a big PMA. Let's hope this is the cycle for all of us!!!

Floating on a lovely codeine cloud at the moment :) I usually take them for my migraines but today I have found they do wonders for horrid period pains too.

So in my blissful state I have decided I need to focus on something other than ttc sooooo..... I'm going to book us a wee holiday for the Easter break to look forward to. Doubly good if I'm upduffed then as I won't feel so self conscious about my flabby bits if I can say well I'm pregnant :) (size 16 and the heaviest I've ever been, with a weakness for chocolate and biccies)

Now I need some recommendations girls please. We went to a villa in Crete for our summer hols and loved it, but just a bit too hot for weechops2 - sweat flared his eczema.

Ideally somewhere 3/4 hours away, nice and warm, 4/5 * hotel or apartments and stuff for kids to do (even if just parks/pools)

Thank you muchly
