Fred rules;

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
4. Thou shalt share and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

I don't know Suffolk I've been on cerazette for ages so no ERTD came off it last week because thought I might have been pg, did a test and it was negative but still haven't had ERTD so could be a late test IYSWIM

LadyJean I sympathise, all this wtf is sooo annoying!

Today I finally think I'm out, would be very surprised if this wasn't ERTD at last, after 3 days of spotting (which I never normally have) and loads of cramping. I just wish it would either piss off so I can test or start properly so I am closer to the next shag week!!

Hooya thanks, seems to be worse late afternoon then all night. so i am troughing all day to make up for what will happen later.
I hope the spotting pisses off too, but that sounds like the chem i had the cycle befor this one stuck. I really hope it stops.

Can I ask a bit of a TMI question? How often do you go for the JSing? I've been reading online that the theory of only DTD every few days has been disproved, but I don't trust everything I read online!

every other day between ERTD, or every day when i thought it was the ov time. not very accurate just when my mobile told me it was probable. worked!

Tmi alert, I found EWCM this morning. it's been AWOL for a few cycles so have plans to top up the little swimmers. I'm knackered, so may have to resort to jumping him now so I can still get an early night.

It may be, Suffolk...some of them stop sperm swimming as well.

And it is Monday where Hooya is, hopefully she will be POAS soon!

I don't think they help the little swimmers. But there's preseed and another one often mentioned on here that are specifically sperm friendly for TTC.

It's conceive plus. I've been using it for last 2 shags. Apparently it helps them swim!? And it has calcium.
DH does not know we've used it lol

Ladies, can I ask a slightly TMI question about the JS method? We are not TTCing yet, but we're going to start after Christmas. I'm being very impatient.

What do you do afterwards, to, er, keep all the good stuff in? We've been using condoms for the last few years, so I can't really remember what it was like when was on the pill. I'm hoping that it will magically be much less messy! Is lying on your back with your legs in the air according to the JS method?!

Fucking hell BFP!!

DP persuaded me to PIAR, I did, and the line came up even before the control line! Not really getting excited since I am still spotting, but still, proves everything works

Now I have to figure out whether my spotting is just the end of implantation (good) or last month ERTD was implantation and this bleed is something more scary (bad).

GPs are pay-as-you-go here, and my medical covers everything, should I just make an appointment? Rather embarassingly, I read up all about TTC but nothing about actually being pg so I am proper clueless!

LadyEmma I think you're supposed to lie on back and either legs in the air or pillow under the hips. I have been TTC for 2 months, usually forgot the legs thing and just stuck tissue between my legs and fell asleep or if it was daytime just got on with things. And I am apparently pg so it worked for me!

Rockchick we just did it as much as possible to be honest, usually every day, missed the odd day when travelling. But DP has some serious stamina!

Well I POASed on Saturday night. After the 3 mins, it was a positive but it was so faint that you could only see the positive line in the right light, then looked a few more minutes later and it was a BFN

Congrats Hooya that's great. Make an appt now! :-) Sometimes you can still spot during early pregnancy but you'll need to make an appointment to find out how antenatal treatment works where you are. Good luck.
