(sorry I know that's awful but seriously, can you think of anything else that rhymes with "eleven"?!)

Ladies, leave your OPKs at the door, and settle in for part 11 of JSing!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Wine and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

The link to Part 10 is here.

The link to the latest grads thread is here.

So don those shag capes, we have standards to maintain - Part 10 saw an amazing 9 BFPs, including one set of twins! So - what are you still doing here? GET SHAGGING!!

:o

Hooya Hoping for it to be implantation. Keep us updated.

Kitten Sounds like you're having a whale of a time! jealous

Facebook is the devil! she says thirty seconds after checking her news feed which is full of preggos and new babies

Couchsweetpotato · 05/09/2012 22:02

Just wanted to say a big thank you for all the congrats. I am crossing fingers, toes and other extremities for lots of BFPs on here. Grin

livismum · 05/09/2012 22:36

Was worried my phone wasn't updating with no posts since first thing! Guess everyone is nice and busy Wink

Congratulations from me too couch hope things go well for you xx

Hooya · 05/09/2012 23:53

Morning all - it is quiet around here!

Bit more spotting here, but just a tiny bit and brown / very dark.

Everything crossed but not feeling positive!

Had some JSing fun last night but figured DP can have a bit more variety this late in my cycle Wink

Anyone PIAR soon? I am going to follow my rule but go for testing 2 weeks late assuming 23 day cycle. That's still not til a week on Monday, rubbish!

AWomanCalledHorse · 06/09/2012 08:46

:( Even the bastard rabbit mum on Peppa Pig managed to get herself upduffed. She's got a 3 yr old, a 1 yr old & just had twins....AND Mr.Rabbit is really overweight so how he has perfect swimmers!? Arrrrrrggggghhhh.
Can you tell I got a BFN this morning!?
Although ERTD is due either the weeekend or midweek so maybe a little early

Hooya, fingers are crossed for something good.

Back to shouting at the fertile characters on Kids tv Grin

Lexilicious · 06/09/2012 10:18

hello everyone, can I ask a slightly TMI question? I currently have a copper coil which I will need to get taken out before I can properly join in the shagfest. When do I need to book it? any time in cycle or on ERTD (which was when it was put in, because that's when the cervix is most open)?

livismum · 06/09/2012 10:32

Hi Lexi sorry got no clue on when's best to have it removed, toyed with the idea of getting one but never got around to it! Hopefully someone will be around with answers soon, then u can come and join us in our friendly fun, shag fest fred!

Sorry about bfn horse but it might be too early!
Maybe we are missing something, maybe we all need to change our eating habits, carrot soup and carrot cake for lunch? Grin

Rockchick1984 · 06/09/2012 11:05

Hi Lexi when I had my coil out they said mid-cycle is fine, but if trying not to get pregnant haha you need to use alternative contraception for 7 days prior to removal as theoretically possible for sperm already in you to impregnate you as soon as its removed Hmm

Mr and Mrs Rabbit are clearly at it, well, like rabbits :)
Think she must be mad though personally, imagine the stretch marks from so many babies so close together Grin

33PinkLadyApple · 06/09/2012 11:40

BFN and no ERTD so will keep testing until it arrives. Reckon my second ERTD of this cycle was a proper one so may not be due ERTD until next week? wtf cycle 1 after pill is doing my head in

Hooya · 06/09/2012 11:52

Welcome Lexi no coil advice but hope you can join us!

Horse hopefully too early, fx for you. 4 kids under the age of 4 sounds like too much to me, maybe there is such a thing as too much JSing on Peppa Pig, anyway!

33 I sympathise, mine is still weird post-pill... one 28 day cycle, one 23 day one (weirdly light but too heavy for implantation, I think) and now spotting on day 24... Nice that I can pretend it's implantation though!

I am starting to drive myself mad and am in need of a swift hooya if anyone has their slap hand ready! I feel like I have two chances - one that my last light ERTD was implanatation clutching at straws, and another that this new spotting is implantation! 2x the mental!

ok well that's great news re the any time cycle. remember being a bit ewwww at having to have it put in when I was on, AND they couldn't do it at my GP clinic, only at the GUM clinic attached to the main hospital! but I suppose the HCPs/docs there have seen everything.

I do actually have a 'not before' date in mind, because I have a skiing holiday booked in March which I really want to go on, even if I don't do much skiing I will need to chase my 3yo around! I have been trying to get a bit fit before TTC proper (was very fit just before got PG the first time) hoping that it will help counteract exhaustion etc - it did before and I had a very neat bump all the way through from fantastic abs (no chance of that this time!!).

So... I might as well join the thread properly!!

Facebook should be renamed Babybook.

Although I did recently see one of the loveliest posts on there from a girl I was at school with who is pg after ivf. Her post was so tactful because she specifically mentioned all those still struggling with ttc: hormonal tear to the eye.

Sephy · 06/09/2012 18:12

Ooh lexilicious, how pregnant would be too pregnant to go skiing?
And what have you been baking, Suffolk?

I've got my hospital appointment tomorrow, so really looking forward to joining you on the JSing soon!

I'm watching 'the midwives' on iplayer at the moment and it's making me so impatient!

Rockchick1984 · 06/09/2012 19:08

Oooh Suffolk where could I get a recipe for that? DH hates peanuts so would be all for me

AndieMatrix · 06/09/2012 19:18

Suffolk That sounds Nom!

Sephy Good Luck at the hospital.

Lexilicious · 06/09/2012 20:07

Sephy I went skiing when pg with DS at 20wks, and I was fine (even on blacks and hors piste Shock !) maybe I got slightly more tired, but I didn't have any physically limiting problems like SPD. I was just showing a bit (needed a size up in trousers not full maternity clothes) but still wore my usual ski trousers and jacket. The people I was with were really fretting but not in a helpful way!!

So, I am going with the plan that I can cope with altitude the same as then, but I won't make any assumptions about actually skiing until v close to the time. Going in a massive family group with six toddlers so even non skiing there will not be a dull moment! I am a good skier but you can't predict how out of control others will be, and if pg I might like to have a week where I can just read books and drink hot chocolate!!

good luck at hospital.

LadyJeanHearneTuddles · 06/09/2012 21:32

I have a potentially really silly question ........... If you POAS too late would it be negative. I only ask because the box says that it detects hormones in early pregnancy, when does early pregnancy end?

I fear that this is something that I really should know Blush

Lolcbcblemonlime · 06/09/2012 22:04

Lady I'm no expert but think bfp would continue throughout pg.

livismum · 06/09/2012 22:22

Ummm I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that at some point in pg tests will start showing negative again because of some type of hormonal change (I may have dreamed it or misread or made that up!) Grin

livismum · 06/09/2012 22:27

Ignore my previous message Blush dr Google tells me that's nonsense and they should show positive whole pregnancy! Should have checked before posting!

AndieMatrix · 06/09/2012 22:38

I read in the instructions for my last test that sometimes you get a false negative through a higher concentration of hormones though. when did I start reading the information leaflets?!

LadyJeanHearneTuddles · 07/09/2012 07:45

I didn't read all of the instructions Blush

Maybe I should, or I could just do the lazy thing and wait for someone more knowledgeable to come here and tell me.

I think I'll do it the lazy way Grin

LadyJeanHearneTuddles · 07/09/2012 07:46

Is there a way I can get a lower concentration of hormones? Like if I don't POAS first thing in the morning?
