Fred rules;

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
4. Thou shalt share and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Purple tell him you're off to flirt play with other blokes, that might do the trick. I would also advocate sending of naughty texts / emails during the day to get him thinking about it (good for sparing blushes too). DP and I do a bit of that as it's so easy to get all wrapped up in work then difficult to get your JSing brain in gear once home!

On which, what I thought was ERTD really was just spotting, second day of it, this is exactly what happened when I got my bfp. No idea whether to be excited or not since that one didn't end well! Someone give me a right now as I've started to think what if...

Granny, feeling crampy. Feels like ERTD is coming on, but am holding out for this one sticky as I've done 2 weeks of pg symptoms dammit, don't want it to be for nothing!! x

Horse I had very similar with DS, accompanied by cramping. Obviously he was fine and is now a monster 19 month old, so it's not necessarily anything bad. Is it red or brown blood?

I'm very confused and having a random WTF cycle - I was 4 days early for last ERTD and it only lasted a few days (presuming that it was because of being so unwell - happened while I was in hospital). Didn't DTD at the right times this month as I wasn't well when I think I ovulate (but have done it since) but my normal 27 day cycle would mean I should have come on yesterday and I haven't yet. Will wait another 3 or 4 days which is when ERTD would have been due if last month had been on time and if still no sign will test then. Have no symptoms of either pregnancy or ERTD so don't quite know what's going on

Country the jealousy is completely normal, I was feeling like that even before we started TTC because I had already decided I wanted another one despite not discussing it at the time with DH :)

Oh, and last month's ERTD only lasted 3 days instead of usual 5

I'm trying not to google so you're all bearing the brunt of this....you're welcome [hgrin] it was brown blood about 3 hours ago & cramping, then the cramps & bleeding went away for an hour now they're both back but the blood it red, but barely enough to make a smear on the pad, that's good for now right?

Horse FX it's nothing to worry about. I had the same with my DD and all was well (I still hadn't got my periods back from BFing DS so doctors took it as my last period when I called to arrange my first appointment but at my booking appointment the doctor decided to listen for a heartbeat "just to see" and ended up booking me for a scan, turns out I was right and it was early pg spotting and I was 4 weeks more pg than assumed)

Waiting is doing my head in too. Trying to stick with the chilled style of JSing and not obsessively POAS especially since as I only came off the pill at the end of September (VERY new to this TTC lark) I don't even know when ERTOD is due really but the suspense is killing me. Any ideas when would not be ridiculous to test?

Oh and don't shout at me I know the chances of me getting a BFP immediately without any real trying are VERY unlikely but I still can't help thinking about it
Trouble is, because I've been on the pill a couple of years, I can't really remember what normal ertod symptoms are for me so I feel bloaty, crampy, moody and I've got sore boobs and I'm thinking did I used to get rock hard sore breasts before or is this new? Could it be pregnancy symptoms? I'm sending myself crazy and I'm starting to think that TTC is really bad for your mental health!

Out of interest purple..... What are your dates?? Like when did u come if the pill, and when did(if u did) get a withdrawal bleed? What dates following this did you Dtd?? Am being very nosey so tell me to mind my own if u like, lol. Just very interested as its my first month this month and as much a I say I'm not stressing, I clearly am!

Last pill was I think 28th September? Light bleed for a couple of days after that as normal after finishing a pill pack DTD on 8th 9th and 21st October (OH is RUBBISH at this TTC lark, keeps telling me he's tired, pfff) been feeling all crampy for weeks every day thinking that I'm going to come on (and to be honest, not really minding as at least it would make me think my body was getting back to normal) but nothing is happening and it has been about four weeks now. Know it can take a while for you to get back to normal after coming off pill though and apparently the pill I was on (Microgynon) gives you quite bad symptoms when you come off it so maybe it's just that.
Like you, I was determined not to stress about it yet as it seems too early to get my hopes up but here I am symptom spotting and stressing. Whoops!

Ohh. Ur just me but 2 weeks earlier!! I took my last pill on 16.10. Sounds like, from what I've read about the right dates etc that uve caught the right dates. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!! Hmmmm sounds good! In fact in dont even know why I'm on 'just shaggin' cos since I've joined I havnt even just friggin shagged and I clearly am a psycho about this and am not going to be happy with just bloody shaggin!! Rant over.

I'm definitely a JSer as it seems like the lazy option to me (no offence meant)I haven't read anythig, haven't got a clue what I'm doing re: dates etc, don't know anyting about ovulation tests etc, don't understand/know anything about my cycle and I'm still hoping to get pregnant. I think just shagging is the thread for me! (but hoping your superior levels of research will help me)

Oh my, I'm no expert....I just considered what people told me about my dates.... An applied to urs they seem good times! I really hope they are for you. I am actually desperate to get on with it... But am still confused about the whole 'little swimmers lasting however many days' etc. and.... Am I meant to Dtd on ovulation day, before it or just after it?
