Fred rules;

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
4. Thou shalt share and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Granny, we've got a 2 bed (and no chance of moving in the next 5 years, negative equity yay(!), so we'd have the smaller one in our room for longer (hoping it doesn't wake DS).

Still cramping, but less so...have spent the day with a pad on just incase. I guess it's positive that DS's nappy this morning was so stinky I almost threw up on him right?

Well I'm out for this month, ertd arrived this morning my cycles seem to be getting shorter and shorter - just 24 days this month. I've just broken thread rules and caved in and ordered some opks don't kick me off pleeeeease! I just want to try and find out if there might be a problem, not getting obsesses honest!

Kitten bollocks to ERTD! I had one 28 day then one 23 day cycle off the pill, and I was worried about the short cycle but read lots of reassuring things, then got duffed!

Notso it's difficult isn't it - have you tried variety? Different times of day / rooms in the house / underwear etc? Or some help from the internet if you like or don't mind that sort of thing

Well we're 5 in 5 in the hooya household my ladyparts are starting to hurt a bit I have a vision of the sperm getting up there and going "aw man, everyone else showed up too!" clearly there is nothing so focused as a woman post mc who wants upduffed! ohgood and others who have mc'd, did you get that too or were you more sensible? I am worried my hormones are still a bit mental!

V v tired today...ds woke up at 5 (yawn!)...thinking we're heading to London zoo today...wonder how long we'll all last given how early we've all been up

Notso apparently first thing in the morning is meant to be the best time for JSing (hormones etc according to Dr Google) so maybe set your alarm a bit earlier? I'm often too tired by bedtime, so TMI alert we have taken to DTD on the sofa while tea cooks if DS is asleep

notso, is there a position that gets him off quicker...or could you fluff him almost to the point of no return before jumping him?

Sorry for the ertd granny and kitten . I am really not convinced that this whole bloody reproduction thing has been properly designed. It's so random. A child could design it better. Why not simply order from tinternet as required, then keep bean in a kangaroo-style pouch, which can be carried by either/both DP, and then when timer goes simply produce new cuddly baby in pain-free way? MN should start a campaign.

Well variety and internet is not a problem. Privacy is....gosh it was so hard when dc were little but nothing beats a teenager. If we make any noise during the night he will wake and say" I can hear you, you know" or knock at the door and ask for us to go downstairs and have some food.
Dh gets up at 6.30am for work ( waaay too early for me) so jsing during weekends when ds is sleeping (or in comatose as we call it) is the way..
But defo dh is tired and ( gulp) so am I!!! Not young rabbits no more lol
Maybe if I am too old to stay Awake or to pursue sex I am too old to have another child.:( Or maybe I am a lazy lazy woman.

notso pre-move, we resorted to the garden shed to get some privacy from the DCs (7, 8, 8, 10). Oh, and the loft. It was REALLY hard to get ourselves up there, pull up the ladder and then shut the door (to be fair, it was quite a snazzy folding loft ladder) for a very quick quickie!

The dog can be pretty off putting for us too - we have just started crate-training her. She started looking on with a rather "intent" look, rather than distaste the only time we attempted it in the same room as her. I definitely do NOT wanting to be the object of canine fantasies.

OhGood - sign me up for your campaign to improve the reproduction process. Sounds far better (and would mean that JSing could be just for fun!)

Hi ladies! Geez, avoid the Internet for just a few days and it is impossible to catch up. horse fingers crossed - so exciting! kitten I fell prey to opks for the same reason -- short cycles. Good news is, mine have been creeping back up a few days each month and are now at a solid 28 days. Lazy eggs still coming to the party a bit too late but doc will hear all about it when I see her next week

hooya we are in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We rented a house right on the beach and I can hear and smell the ocean as I type. Just lovely. Vacation JSing is a key component.

Had an ultrasound and (TMI alert) TVultrasound today for stomach pains (not pregnancy related). Was sort of praying MrSonographer might be all "oh what have we here, you appear to be upduffed" (in those exact words ) but sadly none of the kind. DrGoogle informs me 2 weeks since JS began is far too early to tell so must just keep shagging & hoping
