JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Dh was not too inebriated last night following his night out so we managed to JS last night and again this morning :-) Sitting at work now with big jammy grin on my face.

If my calculations are correct, this is bang on my most fertile time, so fingers crossed! If it doesn't work this time, we will at least have had a lot of fun practicing!

I loved the first 2 seasons of Might Boosh but it all went proper mental in the Shop series! Just googled Julian Barratt to see what he's upto now (not much), Noel Fielding is 39!! The same age as Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper)...how do men look so young at almost 40?!

Bear, my vagina would wear comfortable shoes & slouchy mooching around clothes & it would say 'Keep those chemicals away from me man' (really prone to uti's/infections so it hates most toiletries/lubes/condoms so it's probably a hippy).

Happy Friday everybody. Quick update as we have no internet yet in our new house. I was quite convinced that ERTD was arriving earlier this week, but no sign at all. BFNs on the couple of ICs I tried, might have a go with a "real test" next week if things haven't changed.

I have decided that I am NEVER moving house, EVER again. Not only did I manage to get a stomach bug, leaving DH to do pretty much all the hard work, he has been too tired for any JSing at all. So, I think it is now 4 days since there was any action in that respect. Not such a happy waves really. However, he has promised to work on the house less hard this evening (and I did loads last night by the time I was feeling better) and work harder on me

Still dutifully JSing here too. Fairly sure my fertile time has been and gone - not feeling upduffed as yet but was prob a bit much to expect first month post coil. Think well just keep going anyway to be sure & see if ERTD turns up in 10 days as expected.

This JSing lark is doing strange things to DH. He's always been up for it (aren't they all?) but never very 'kinky' or spontaneous. That has suddenly changed. Not sure if he's grabbing the opportunity while he can before 9mnths of progressive fatness & hormones sets in. One way or another...we scared the dog

at scaring the dog! Before we moved from our flat we had notes from the neighbours!lol

DP has been offered work in Somerset for a few weeks starting Monday (smack on when I think will be the best time) so looks like I'm out if the JSing for a while. :-( He'll be back most weekends but I think the chances of me getting pupped up with such infrequent action are very slim.

Hi - feeling a little less stressed now and confident that the JSing action can recommence. It is a VERY big house (well compared to our old 2 up 2 down terrace) ( I am trying to ignore the fact that once we have had carpets fitted and the painting etc is done it will be a killer to clean) All 4 children are back this evening, so I reckon in about 40 minutes time there will be huge amounts of excitement. None of them have seen the house yet, so hoping they will all be happy. And we are collecting all the pets tomorrow, so that will be a dog, a cat, 2 rabbits, a frog and some fish to add to the mix.....

Fingers crossed that they exhaust themselves pretty quickly and crash out early so DH can get on with a different kind of "hard" work.

Eh never tried to dtd with DS in the same room....moved him into his own room at 8 weeks as he was a noisy wee sleeper...but was v glad at 16wks when my hormones went into overdrive & I practically jumped dh before work one day

Kitten, it's the all over cramps (back, sides & foof) that feel like ertd is about to start...and the very faint line! ERTD was due yesterday, will test everyday this week & just hope it either gets resolved one way or another!

Granny, we had DS in our room until 8 months as he decided waking 4/5 times a night was well fun.

Omg horse, I would never have managed that long..one of my nct buddies moved her wee one into their own room at 2 wks!

Mind you...if we ever have dc2, we'll need to have them in our room for longer (only have 2 bedrooms)...so will be eating my words when that happens...& asking your advice then on how to survive it all

Talking of which, scan was fine, and we're 3 for 3 (3 shags in 3 days) here since mc finished - we're feeling ambitious this month though given that the wtf cycle after mc can last aaages, we may live to regret that!

ERTD here, after a couple of days of excitement where I imagined I had an increased sense of smell. This process really does send you mental - see also waking at 4am thinking about it. Anyway it all came to nowt (or Moët, as my phone would prefer) and we're onto the 5th cycle of trying next week.

Hello all! Please may I join. Dh and I will be starting to ttc in a couple of weeks on our weekend away for our first anniversary. Will be using the JSing method. On AF just now and would love this to be my last one for a while but Dh says he sure hopes it doesn't happen on the first shot as he wants lots of gos!

Welcome country - apparently 25% get upduffed the first month of trying, so it's possible but DH is likely to get at least a couple of months of it :) then again, my DS was the result of us not trying, only DTD once that month, so clearly anything's possible :)

We DTD a few times when DS was in our room as a newborn, but made me a bit uncomfortable - we started just moving the Moses basket into the hall outside our bedroom until we finished!!!
