(sorry I know that's awful but seriously, can you think of anything else that rhymes with "eleven"?!)

Ladies, leave your OPKs at the door, and settle in for part 11 of JSing!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Wine and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

The link to Part 10 is here.

The link to the latest grads thread is here.

So don those shag capes, we have standards to maintain - Part 10 saw an amazing 9 BFPs, including one set of twins! So - what are you still doing here? GET SHAGGING!!

:o

Horse I had my first smear this year and didn't feel anything cos I was mostly hoping DS didn't ask the nurse if she could "see Thomas" (the Dr tells him she's looking in his ear for Thomas the Tank Engine when she checks them.lol)

Lexilicious · 03/10/2012 18:29

Well, glad I didn't POAS this morning because it would have been very much a POA£5. TMI alert, but it was one of those that you can actually feel starting, like a small glug just when I flopped on the sofa at home.

Very strange that the cycle got this long though. I will go have the coil removed at the end of the month as I had planned, and get in some good shaggage practice in the meantime. I'll leave you proper shaggers to it for a while. See you in November!

Lexilicious · 03/10/2012 18:30

Thanks for the luck and wishes and fx, in the nicest possible way I hope you're not here when I come back!

AndieMatrix · 04/10/2012 10:00

Lexi TMI doesn't exist here.lol. Good luck for having your coil removed and getting back on the JSing wagon. See you next month (although I am hoping Im not here then.lol)

AWomanCalledHorse · 04/10/2012 18:17

In the nicest possible way Lexi, I hope you don't even need to return to this thread. So there. Grin

My mum came over today and asked me if I were pregnant as she gets the feeling I am. Shock
She doesn't know we're trying so it's weird.

Hope everyone is having a great day!
DS's skanky penis is less 'eewwwww' today, which is great. Although he thinks I'm a bitch for trying to give him the penicillin!

Pineapple80 · 04/10/2012 19:43

Hope your Mum is right horse! Grin Glad to hear DS is getting better too.

notsoold · 04/10/2012 20:34

Hi all....please can someone give me a good hooya ?
My period is always 32 days making ov around day 16. Because of the damned stent ( sorry) we had sex only on days 8 and 14.
Boobs are bigger ( never happens before AF) and I only want to sleep and cry the last 10 days. Really proper cry . Really ....
Well the slapping needs to start now :(
I did two tests on days 27 and 28 (both negative...)

yesterday (day 33 ) the sickness started ( possibly my mind right??)
So today ( as if I am rich right?) I did a supermarket test ( again -ve ) a strip test (-ve) and in the afternoon a brown goooey with a tiny bit of red ( tmi) when I wiped. So I tested again and still negative
Happened twice but it cannot be implantion because I am now 2 days late ( I am regular) and nothing else...
Is all this a wtf cicle?
A had a really heavy bleeding wtf after mc but was perfect after that...
Can someone slap me please?
Or please tell me what to do???

notsoold · 04/10/2012 20:35

Sorry it was so long....

AWomanCalledHorse · 04/10/2012 21:35

A friendly, nice for you notso.
I don't have any advice re the spotting/bleeding, but could you..if possible, stop testing so much? One every other day? Or once a day?
You're going to stress yourself out testing so much (said as confirmed POAS addict).
Hope you know wtf is up with your body either way asap. x

Suffolk, i remember writing a reply but it t'was when MN crashed for me last night, grrh!
Sorry you're having such a crap time of it re ERTD, but woohoo! for condom loss, we're doing the same here, as it's taking a bit longer than we thought it would be stupid to throw away a month because of birtdate.
Remind me of that when we've both got Mid-August babies. Grin

Andie, I'll ask the nurse if she can see Thomas!

What's everyone got planned for the weekend?
My best mate is coming over tomorrow for a takeaway & some crappy films (providing DS is asleep), a couple of mates over on Saturday for crappy films & homemade curry. Probably something to do with films & curry on Sunday too!
We're expecting bad weather & grumpy DS so not really feeling a nice day out!

notsoold · 05/10/2012 09:07

horse ....you are absolutely right....stopping testing only because it turned out to be AF!!!!
oh well....

We have no plans for the weekend apart from lazying about!!! DS will be travelling to London and leaving us home alone!!!

Have a tremendous weekend everybody!!!

Pineapple80 · 05/10/2012 10:00

Happy Friday all!

Sorry to hear about ERTD notsoold Sad.

Grr 2 week wait sucks. That is all. Angry

Hooya · 05/10/2012 10:47

Hello everyone! It's Friday!

Just back from my ERPC. Feel surprisingly briliant - like a weight has been lifted. In no pain at all and glad that chapter is closed.

Will start JSing again once things calm down down there, as it were!

notso and Suffolk so sorry about ERTD. notso have a slightly woozy from me - it's so much more fun if you don't POAS, because even if ERTD is coming you can imagine you might be pg for longer or something that makes actual sense

Horse fx your mum is right does she have any lottery number predictions?

wavesandsmiles · 05/10/2012 12:41

Glad to hear you are feeling ok hooya and hope you enyou your weekend notso

My weekend will involve final house packing, cleaning, and taking fragile stuff to our mums' houses. Pretty much the whole time..... Hope you all have a lot more fun than me.

notsoold · 05/10/2012 13:43

received hooya....Even with the -ves I still held to that thought!!!

Glad to see you back !

I feel old today!!! When your youngster can go to places and you stay home alone you just can't help but feel old!!! My daughter is 18!!! Why do I still want babies???
All my friends are getting dogs instead (have it) using creams to avoid more wrinkes (have it - the wrinkles I mean) and I am here jsing like a rabbit (as if) because I want my own personal little screamer 2 years after the DD (teen from hell she was...stop screaming at us and became a nice person again.
My DS is starting to shave!!!!
I am mental....and sorry for ranting!

horse we could do a syndicate and play the lottery with your mum's predictions! :)

Boo Notso, I've had days like that! I've stopped buying bulk internet tests, so if I get the feeling I'm pregnant I'll order 3 (well, need to take more than one to be sure!) for 99p & then no more until I feel pregnant/2ww again.

Pineapple, how far into 2ww are you?

Hooya, glad you're so positive about the crappy time you've just had. Are you supposed to wait until after your next ERTD?
Or just until you feel up for it again?

Suffolk, are you alright today?
RIP cubumber.

Having a lazy day with DS, watching repeats of Come Dine With Me whilst he naps....what would be your ideal 3 course meal, and what would be the worst 3 course meal?

Rockchick1984 · 05/10/2012 17:19

Glad you're ok hooya and as I'm not JSing this month you can have all my lucky BFP vibes :)

Oooh, I love Come Dine With Me!! Tried to watch come date with me and had to turn it off halfway through, what a rubbish show that was!!! I wouldn't know what to make if I went on it as I'm so fussy! I would give top marks to someone who made me baked Camembert with home made bread, a piece of steak bigger than my head, followed by profiteroles filled with strawberry cream Blush

Redshoes56 · 05/10/2012 23:19

Happy Friday, all! Suffolk your chocolate cake sounds like a divine way to get the weekend started. hooya glad you are doing so well.

Pineapple I am right with you on the 2ww. Enjoying plenty of Wine, sushi, etc. just in case this is the "last chance" for awhile. But, no symptoms, and I am not POAS or anything else for matter until at least next weekend. Restraint is good.

Horse - had my ideal three course last night, date night at home. Lots of stinky cheese and bread, steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Tonight is either Indian takeout or more sushi.

Pineapple80 · 06/10/2012 09:07

redshoes & horse - approx 5or 6 days past ov now, it's all very approximate though and like redshoes am feeling quite normal, so not sure what to make of it! Anyway I'm also just getting on with life and not been obsessing (except giving boobs the odd poke to see if sore?!?!). Blush

Very happy the is the weekend though!

What is everyone's plans? None for us except relax!Grin

hooya - glad procedure went ok and that you'll be back JSing soon!!

Hooya · 06/10/2012 09:55

Hello everyone!

I am so tired today I'm mostly on sofa with blanket Smile

Horse apparently we can go for it whenever ready, spoke with surgeon 2 hours after the op and he said no reason not to get on with it! I think we'll wait a week or so as I'm still a bit tender though!

Suffolk sorry about fainting, you ok?

notso I don't think anyone is mental for wanting babies! Given that I spent all my life until 33 years old being totally against the idea, then basically changed my mind one day, I think anything can happen in our heads when it comes to wanting to TTC!

Hope everyone has a brilliant weekend!

hooya and redshoes after I had my 2 DC we worried how difficult teen years would be. That and financial reasons dictated that babies were out of question. And i must say I was fine with that. Only after DD teen years were gone and our situation got better someone flicked a switch and now babies is all I see....

horse I promise to behave next month :)
suffolk hope you are feeling better!!!

Sunshine in Manchester !!! Incredible, I know!!!!

waves I hope you the packing went well!!!

AWomanCalledHorse · 08/10/2012 00:15

Hold up...the 2ww is 2w past OV, not 2w past when ERTD was due? I've learnded something Blush

Rock Red, your menus had me until strawberry; fruit isn't a dessert!!

Suffolk, anemia sucks! I'm usually on Iron Tablets because of my blood loss, but it's been much more managable since I went on Tranexic Acid, the pils clot the blood & it's so much easier to deal with ERTD!

I'd joined a fb group called 'Childless by Choice' (there is a book and everythunk) as I didn't want babies ever. Now I want ALL the babies.

Had a decent weekend, another one with the 'sunshine' (I think that's what it's called).
