(sorry I know that's awful but seriously, can you think of anything else that rhymes with "eleven"?!)

Ladies, leave your OPKs at the door, and settle in for part 11 of JSing!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Wine and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

The link to Part 10 is here.

The link to the latest grads thread is here.

So don those shag capes, we have standards to maintain - Part 10 saw an amazing 9 BFPs, including one set of twins! So - what are you still doing here? GET SHAGGING!!

:o

Sad Sad Sad

Lolcbcblemonlime · 30/09/2012 09:19

Oh no ohgood Sad
Generally as far as I know bfp before u due followed by bfn is what they call a chemical pg. I'm not sure though. Was it just one bfp? When were u due?
Sorry u must be upset x

AndieMatrix · 30/09/2012 09:19

Hahaha, good point Red

AndieMatrix · 30/09/2012 09:22

Stupid phone didn't update properly so just seen your post oh good
You must be upset. I've no idea what the norm is for this situation. Maybe call your GP tomorrow? Thanks

Rockchick1984 · 30/09/2012 10:48

Ohgood it's possible things could still be ok - Hooya was having bleeding when she got her BFP but it's not something I've experienced myself - I'd personally be going to the Dr, just to find out what happens next if you have experienced a chemical pregnancy or if there's any chance you are still pregnant. I know that if you were further along they would measure your HCG levels a few days apart to see if it was still increasing, maybe something like that can still be done? Thanks and for you.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 30/09/2012 11:29

I'm sorry, ohgood...I'd test again once the bleeding has stopped. Fx.

And no, red, no chance I'm shagging this much for the rest of my natural days! I'll be knackered!

Severe OV pains today...typical as we are off to London for a gig. Knew it was about to happen as my boobs have been seriously sore!

Pineapple80 · 30/09/2012 12:00

Ohgood - so sorry to hear about the bleeding, fingers are crossed for you Sad.

Knicker - I am also knackered from all this JSing! Not complaining though, lets hope it works!! Fx Grin

Redshoes56 · 30/09/2012 13:54

Sad ohgood

AWomanCalledHorse · 30/09/2012 16:05

OhGood, I hope you're not in too much pain, it does sound like a chemical pregnancy, but fingers are crossed for you that it's Hooya style bleeding.
I would test again on Tuesday if I were you (May this year I got a BFP, then day later started ERTD, negative test within 2 days). xx

Thanks all so much for the sympathy and support. I haven't spoken to anyone in RL about any of it really, so it means a lot to have a sympathetic ear.

I am going to take some time out. Back in a week or so.

Happy JSing all round.

Kittenkatzen · 01/10/2012 07:22

So sorry ohgood Sad hope you're not in too much pain today Sad

Hooya · 01/10/2012 07:56

B*llocks at the unfairness of it, my 3rd scan was bad and will mc Sad

Had just started to believe it was going to be ok as well!

Going to get ERPC (if I don't mc before it) as I am quite scared. On the plus side, that hopefully means I'll be back JSing before too long!

ohgood sorry if you are going through the same thing, it sucks big hairy ones is horrible but will pass.

Will keep hanging around for the chat until I'm allowed to start shagging again, if that's ok?

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 01/10/2012 07:59

Oh no, Hooya, I'm so sorry...we all thought / hoped it would stick.

:-(

Lolcbcblemonlime · 01/10/2012 08:16

Oh no hooya that is proper shit and unfair! Angry how far gone are you? Are they 100% sure you will mc?
It is very very scary... Stick with us and we will hold your hand through it. There is a thread ttc after mc and we have all gone through the same as you. Come chat with us too x

Rockchick1984 · 01/10/2012 08:26

Oh Hooya I'm sorry Thanks Have some Wine and loads of chocolate and some un-mumsnetty

Hooya · 01/10/2012 09:11

Thanks all, how lovely of you

lol there's no chance I'm afraid, it was just a funny empty sac. Not in any way a baby which makes it easier though. DP and i have been making inappropriate jokes already which is a good sign.

I will check out the other thread too. No way I am straying from JSing though, much as it isn't sticking, it certainly got me upduffed fast!

Kittenkatzen · 01/10/2012 09:51

oh hooya that's utterly crap, and does indeed suck big fat hariy ones :( when is the ERPC? ((hugs)) from me too Thanks

horse glad you enjoyed Arundel despite the rubbish weather - it's a really pretty little town isn't it? Fx the weekend away did the trick!

livismum · 01/10/2012 11:31

So so sorry hooya I had ERPC in June following my mmc, feel free to pm me if u have any questions about what to expect etc xx

wavesandsmiles · 01/10/2012 12:11

Really sorry to hear your news hooya and ohgood

Me and DH are now completely shattered with all this house moving, but amazingly managed JSing twice yesterday. We had all 4 kids Saturday night, and were feeling quite in the mood yesterday morning and ended up sneaking off to the garden shed to DTD because them careering up and down the stairs was just WAY too offputting, and obv didn't want to get caught in the act.

We feel like a pair of teenagers sometimes, sneaking around like this.....

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 01/10/2012 12:15

Garden shed?!?! Do you have somewhere suitable in they'd or did you have to dodge a rake and lawnmower etc?

Lexilicious · 01/10/2012 12:43

Hi all, sorry to hear your news Hooya and OhGood. Boooo.

I am feeling a bit of a twunt, Blush but I think I need to check if my coil is actually still there:

I am now on day 31 and no ERTD. Last month's came on day 29. The previous five months were 24-26 days long (before that I wasn't counting but I think about that - less than 28 anyway).

Am sort of scared and excited but won't POAS until the end of this week, if it doesn't come. We haven't really been JS-ing with intent, it would really be an accident if we had done it on fertile days.

wavesandsmiles · 01/10/2012 12:52

kNicks - fortunately the shed is pretty empty, moving in just a week now! Don't think I'd have risked it if we had had to dodge garden implements. And SOOOO looking forward to our new house, and the fact that we will have more space (and privacy) and won't have to resort to carrying on like we are the naughty teenagers!

Pineapple80 · 01/10/2012 13:11

Hooya - so so sorry to hear this news Sad, big hugs to you.

Waves - your garden shed adventures made me chuckle! Well done on the sneaky JSing Grin.

We also did it lots over the weekend, have to say it is a lot of fun, even though tiring Wink.

Wishing all a good week. And a better week for those who having a tough time at the moment .

swimmingnotdrowning · 01/10/2012 14:00

Oh hooya, I am so sorry. Thinking of you. x
