Just Shagging - The lazy TTCers heaven, this is Shaggers Corner, Part 11

(sorry I know that's awful but seriously, can you think of anything else that rhymes with "eleven"?!)

Ladies, leave your OPKs at the door, and settle in for part 11 of JSing!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Wine and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

The link to Part 10 is here.

The link to the latest grads thread is here.

So don those shag capes, we have standards to maintain - Part 10 saw an amazing 9 BFPs, including one set of twins! So - what are you still doing here? GET SHAGGING!!

:o

rockchick that's awful. So sorry. Are you on antibiotics? And I wonder if high fever / sickness etc does impact chances? They are such little parasites in the womb, iykwim, that it might not. A quick google doesn't throw up any info. Did the doc say anything?

I can officially POAS tomorrow, but waiting til Saturday because I have to get up at five and go to London, and I want DH to share the agonising anticipation be there (he missed out last time - it was just a hunch, and I snuck off to POAS, and came upstairs and said 'I have news' and he said 'I know - we're out of milk' and I said 'Well, that too...')

But TBH I am not holding out much hope, cos I worked out last night that I messed up my dates really badly this month. Idiot. How??

Rockchick1984 · 27/09/2012 10:20

Having a good giggle at "we're out of milk" Grin fx for you ohgood for testing.

Thanks both, I asked the Dr re TTC and his answer was to wait and see if I am pregnant first. Of course, I've now stressed myself out by googling, and fevers can be linked to abnormalities Sad so am almost hoping I'm not upduffed this month although I'm hopeful that with it being so early, nothing would have been affected as any research I found was talking about weeks 5-8 being most critical for this.

swimmingnotdrowning · 27/09/2012 13:41

Hello all.

Welcome to those who've joined in the last week.

I miss hooya - has she officially graduated and left us now?

Pineapple80 · 27/09/2012 14:18

I think she has swimming Sad. Wishing hooya all the best Grin

Kittenkatzen · 27/09/2012 14:22

oh rockchick you poor thing that sounds awful, hope you're feeling better very soon Thanks

:o at ohgood's dh and "out of milk"

yep swimming hooya is a fully fledged grad now i believe!

AndieMatrix · 28/09/2012 09:34

LOL @"out of milk"

rockchick I had a nasty virus (massive fever, bed ridden for a week with weak limbs, gid knows what it was!) at about 5weeks with my DS and he was fine.

Looks like Hooya has left us. Good for her. Grin

I'm being a mardy cow this week, suspect ERTD is looming.

Hooya · 28/09/2012 11:57

hello! I am so still lurking even though I should bugger off properly Grin

I miss the shagging chat over here Sad maternity wear is not as exciting as stealth lube use and sperm-killing mouth action! Grin

Totally forgot I was pg today. As in was at my desk, felt a bit sick, and went "oh bloody hell, I'm pg" to myself in my head!

Right I really will bugger off now, happy shagging everyone and see you in grads soon!

Bye Hooya Smile!!

Suffolk, argh bugger. Sad That sucks... I really hope it isn't ERTD though but if so, wishing u the best for next month.

Rock chick - are u feeling better lately? Wishing u a speedy recovery and hope that u are pg!!

Mentally preparing myself for plenty of JSing this weekend. Not much planned other than that and rest!

What is everyone else up to this weekend?

wavesandsmiles · 28/09/2012 14:47

Hi everyone....my weekend plans would ideally involve lots of sleeping, but rather I will be teaching, entertaining the DCs and doing more packing for ever-looming house move. Dh will be painting his old flat to get his deposit back after spending the past 2 days with a BIG van, shifting furniture to storage!

I think we are planning lots of JSing this evening (ignoring any saliva warnings totally), and a night out tomorrow (hopefully followed by more JSing!). MIL is an ever willing babysitter so I think we are going to have a night out with SIL and lots of live music at a local venue. Partly I'd rather just sleep, but we are both getting very a bit stressed with moving, so figure we should have a night away from everything and try to have some fun.

Oh, and DH is being super lovely at the moment. He had a pair of new shoes delivered to me at work yesterday, and the day before he recreated the Love Actually, love letter on A3 bits of paper scene. Drew quite a crowd at my office and others, as he stood there with huge bits of card, making a love letter to me. I nearly cried tbh - it was so sweet and lovely of him.

Hope you are on the mend now rockchick

Kittenkatzen · 28/09/2012 18:01

waves ShockEnvy your DH sends you shoes at work??! He sounds lovely - does he give lessons in how to be awesome to other DHs?! Grin

Redshoes56 · 28/09/2012 22:44

Hoping you lovely ladies don't mind another drop in, and a Yankee at that. My company has an office in London, so clearly that counts? Been lurking, and the women on the other boards are mean boring. Grin Hubs and I JSing since June, off pill since March. This is the first month I started to drive myself mental with Google searches, screaming at peed-on sticks that won't give up a smiley, etc. -- so keep me sane from here on out!

Rockchick1984 · 28/09/2012 22:55

Hi all, I'm feeling a lot better thanks, antibiotics kicking in nicely. Unfortunately ERTD arrived today (2 days early!) so am definitely back to the JSing towards the end of the week.

Hi Red - no meanies here, just random gossip and support :)

Pineapple80 · 28/09/2012 23:20

Welcome red! Smile

Sorry to hear about ERTD rock, wishing u all the best for the next round!

Lazy Fridays, i love them!

Redshoes56 · 28/09/2012 23:41

Thanks for the warm welcomes! Boo to ERTD, Rockchick.

Pineapple, yes! Lazy with a splash of Wine.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 29/09/2012 08:49

Hi red!

What rock means by random gossip is talk about saliva that you'd probably never have in real life! It's fantastic. :-)

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 29/09/2012 08:51

Sorry for the BFN, Suffolk. :-(

AWomanCalledHorse · 29/09/2012 09:20

Welcome Red!!

Sorry for the BFN Suffolk

Kitten, Arundel was, mostly, excellent! We didn't manage the castle as it rained so much but we JS-ed alot, and I got pished so hopefully wine+bonking=baby!

Rock, at least it was 2 days early not two days late but still Boo! And double Boo about the kidney infection. :(

waves, no idea what Love Actually scene you're on about (imagining him drawing boobies & willies Grin ) but sounds like you've got a very lovely OH!

Good, any test news?

Will write more later, on DH's phone & I can't use it for toffee! at everyone not namechecked!Q

OhGood · 29/09/2012 09:57

Fecking arseing mcfeckville. I am having the lightest of most confusing and spotty ERTDs. Holding off on the test for another day. I know I said I didn't hold out much hope this month cos of odd dates but actually I have had proper, remember-this-from-last-time symptoms - down to the Fizzing in the Womb and god-this-bra-feels-small.

rock and suffolk sorry both. Hope you are both raising a big defiant glass of Wine and eating [stilton]. Well, maybe not you Rock untilk you are a bit better.

waves your DH is amaaazing. Awwwwwwwwww.

Hi red - welcome.

wavesandsmiles · 29/09/2012 12:29

Sorry to hear the ertd news :-( I have to confess that I have truly let the side down. All this moving malarkey is shattering and I managed to fall asleep at 8 last night, so no JSing. I shall endeavour to make it up tonight though! And re my dh, yep he is super lovely. Even a couple of guys at work have asked if he gives lessons in being über lovely, having seen the love letter on a3 sheets stunt, and the shoes being sent to me. My favourite brand too - irregular choice.
Right, raising a cup of tea to a weekend of wine, cheese and JSing wherever possible.

Lolcbcblemonlime · 29/09/2012 15:15

Hi all I'm on cd6 and ready to start shagging. Told DH he is not to turn me down over next couple of weeks. Think ill go for eod and see what happens. My cycle seems longer after mc (last two have been 34 rather than usual 31) and that is pissing me off too!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 29/09/2012 16:23

We are shagging loads this month...fx it works as I'm not sure I could sustain it for many months! CD14 and shagged on 8 days and will again later on.

I've converted H2B to lots of sex and Conceive Plus for lubrication since his brother announced his wife is upduffed. Hurrah for envy!

Redshoes56 · 30/09/2012 05:21

Knicker, DH is now spoiled and I am probably setting a bad precedent as this level of activity is definitely not sustainable! As for the saliva chat, it really is best left this type of venue, isn't it? Far as I'm concerned, if the swimmers can't get past a little of it, they aren't smart enough for the job anyway. Grin

OhGood · 30/09/2012 09:16

Got my BFP (at around 1pm yesterday) but ERTD has kept coming and I am bleeding heavily now with hard cramps.

This doesn't look good, does it?

So Sad

If anyone knows what I should do now, I'd be grateful. Do I test again in a few days or something?
