(sorry I know that's awful but seriously, can you think of anything else that rhymes with "eleven"?!)

Ladies, leave your OPKs at the door, and settle in for part 11 of JSing!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Wine and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

The link to Part 10 is here.

The link to the latest grads thread is here.

So don those shag capes, we have standards to maintain - Part 10 saw an amazing 9 BFPs, including one set of twins! So - what are you still doing here? GET SHAGGING!!

:o

Sorry to hear that 33, it must be very frustrating. I know what it can be like with a moody OH sometimes so I can sympathise! I hope it gets better for you.

We have started JSing again and this week and the weekend will be the time I should oh. I feel a bit under the weather though and hope I've not caught anything. Does anyone know how colds etc affect ttc ?

Sorry to hear about the BFNs and news of ERTDs recently. It really sucks Sad. But wishing all good luck for next month.

I hope u all have a great week and happy JSing Smile.

Pineapple80 · 24/09/2012 08:50

^Oops ov, not oh

Lolcbcblemonlime · 24/09/2012 09:00

Af arrived this morning. Feel absolutely crap Sad
33 I feel your pain. My DH will need a good talking to this month to ensure we shag enough. I'm also using CP without him knowing yet!

Happy shaggers, please administer a massive hooya right now. I am driving myself insane with this and am sick of sobbing in the loos with my BFN on a bi-weekly basis. And of eyeing DH up like some sort of stud animal and telling him to impregnate me immediately before Downton Abbey starts.

I feel like it's taking over my life and every waking thought - I am sure some of you kwim.

Right, the happy shagging starts here.

hoooya that one was self-administered to get the ball rolling.

Kittenkatzen · 24/09/2012 13:56

HOOOOYAAAAAAA That's for you ohgood as requested. Not much of a welcome is it! Lots of us know exactly what you mean about it taking over every waking thought, so you're in good company here :o

Lol and livismum that's rubbish, sorry the witch got you both :(:(

Sympathies to everyone who's DHs are in need of a rocket on the ttc front. It was looking the same in chez kitten up until very recently, but MrKitten appears to have been quite disappointed this month and has been making enthusiastic noises about this month coming so we'll see what happens.

33 hope your DH has snapped out of his grump by now.

CD4 here, nothing much to report, ertd pretty much done with so it's onwards with cycle 6 - my last chance to be able to put a scan pic in the christmas cards.

Pineapple80 · 24/09/2012 14:22

Good luck Kitten Grin! I'm glad no ones forgotten about the Christmas card photos!

Welcome ohgood! It's all about chillin' over here and we are all friendly and supportive. Best of luck to u and you're bound to have a chuckle or two in this thread Smile

Kittenkatzen · 24/09/2012 14:27

:o pineapple definitely not forgotten.....although I am managing my own expectations by telling myself that if it doesn't happen this month, then at the very least there's a chance i could put a +ve test into DH's card or something obsessed, moi?!

Hello everyone.... I think this might be a good place for me to be. DH and I started TTC a few weeks ago. Half considered OPKs but we decided against - quiet a lot of money involved isn't there (and there seemed to be quite a lot of technical jargon that my brain wouldn't like)! We've been merrily shagging daily since we got married (July), and I had my coil out earlier this month. The grand plan is therefore to keep at it til I'm upduffed. House move in 2 weeks which is pretty good as it is giving us lots to focus on and avoid obsessing too much about the baby making :-)

Kittenkatzen · 24/09/2012 17:15

Welcome waves I would say come and join the madness, but I just saw that you're ttc #5 so I should think you've got plenty madness of your own going on in chez waves! :o

Right, so I just read the sperm-eating saliva messages and am a little concerned. As is DH. Ummm.... He really enjoys spending time down in my tropical regions, and was rather put out when I said there'd be no snacking on my fanjo til we get a BFP. So, now wondering whether the saliva survives for very long, in case he can time things, or whether there is, ahem, a "safe zone" in terms of saliva distribution. Any thoughts???

Kittenkatzen · 24/09/2012 18:41

Well I kind of thought myself that seeing as the actual, ahem, deposit is being made a reasonable distance up from where the saliva might be, it would probably be ok? I mean as long he's not, you know, spitting up it as such... ConfusedBlush

OP posts:
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 24/09/2012 18:52

I share Kitten's theory!

wavesandsmiles · 24/09/2012 18:57

I just SNORTED at spitting it up..... which DH most definitely does not do. I don't really want to go without either, so fx the deadly saliva is far enough away from the swimmers :-)

AWomanCalledHorse · 24/09/2012 22:24

Welcome waves!!
We've always used, urm, spit during sex & it didn't stop us having DS so we're not going to stop now...although I may be tempted to have time without it during fertile period.

4 weeks 33! Is he feeling the pressure to perform or something like that?

lol, sorry to hear of your ERTD, kitten, glad yours has pissed orf.

Ohgood! Good luck happy shagging, I'm even more of a nightmare with PMS now that we're shagging with intent!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 25/09/2012 09:23

Thanks for the hugs. The talk has made me giggle which is good!
Hope u all well today x

OhGood · 25/09/2012 09:48

Thanks for the welcome hooyas all - feeling better already. And I am already less self-absorbed - so sorry lolc about that witch.

waves congrats - on the wedding, the house move and the daily shagging... plenty going on then? (I mean in your life! not in the bedroom. honest. Am not perv.)

Grin at all the spittin' talk. I have also been worrying about it, and have decided to ignore.

CallMeTuddles · 25/09/2012 13:55

Ta Da, D'ya like my new name?

Just popping in, will catch up on everything later, honest Grin

PerditaMcLeod · 26/09/2012 09:19

Morning all. So I cleart can't count. I thought I would be POAS on th 7 Oct. Must have got that very wrong as ERTD arrived this morning so feeling very grumpy. Not hugely suprising as we started TTC slightly after I ovulated I think.

Oh well, another month of shagging and Wine awaits!

wavesandsmiles · 26/09/2012 09:52

Bad news on ERTD perdita but good news on the Wine and shagging.... We are moving house the day I am meant to POAS (9 October) so I am kind of hoping that I only get to celebrate the new place with fizzy water!

Dh has decided that in the absence of finding any detailed research on spit and sperm that we should completely ignore the saliva rumours. For now at least.

Still managing to get lots of shagging in, although I think that is going to be tricky for the forseeable future. 2 weeks to pack up a HUGE amount of junk my treasured possessions, so hoping we have been lucky. If not, I shall be drinking lots of champagne on 9 October Smile

Pineapple80 · 26/09/2012 12:01

Oh that sucks Perdita, sorry to hear about ERTD Sad.

Waves, good luck with the move! And I guess it is also a good distraction in case u get tempted to test earlier. U will be too busy packing!

Nothing new on my end, cd 9 today so hoping ov is end of this week/this weekend so lots of JSing planned!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 26/09/2012 12:36

We are also merrily ignoring the saliva thing, waves! :-)

Sorry for ERTD Perdita.

Rockchick1984 · 27/09/2012 08:39

Hi all, sorry I've not been around much lately. My "early pregnancy symptoms" of nausea, headache, fatigue and dull ache in tummy and lower back? They kept getting worse and worse so I've finally been to the Dr, turns out I've got a bastard kidney infection!!! I'd left it until on the verge of collapse to go the dr (about a week) and he said I'd have ended up in hospital if I'd left it another few days Sad

So I guess I'm probably out for this month, ERTD expected Sunday but having had a fever pushing 40 degrees I doubt if anything could have implanted in my oven uterus Sad Sad Sad
