Just Shagging - The lazy TTCers heaven, this is Shaggers Corner, Part 11

(sorry I know that's awful but seriously, can you think of anything else that rhymes with "eleven"?!)

Ladies, leave your OPKs at the door, and settle in for part 11 of JSing!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Wine and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

The link to Part 10 is here.

The link to the latest grads thread is here.

So don those shag capes, we have standards to maintain - Part 10 saw an amazing 9 BFPs, including one set of twins! So - what are you still doing here? GET SHAGGING!!

:o

Right, experienced symptom spotters, I need advice please!! I'm still a week away from ERTD but for the best part of a week now I've had:

  • nausea a lot of the time (not actually sick, just a bit queasy feeling)
  • lower back is aching
Then last night (TMI) when me and DH were getting frisky, my nipples were incredibly tender - boobs don't feel sore but it felt like the way my hands feel when they go numb from cold in winter, then start coming back to life (the sort of tingly, uncomfortable feeling).

Is it too early and I'm imagining it all Grin

Rockchick1984 · 20/09/2012 09:08

Sorry to hear about your BFN Andie Thanks

Horse my DS is 18 months and has all but his very back molars, I'm trying to convince myself it's better to get them all out of the way quicker Grin

AndieMatrix · 20/09/2012 09:20

RockChick Sounds like all my symptoms (which I had with my DD and DS) hence why I got excited. Fx yours mean something. Grin Thanks for the flowers.
Horse My DS had all of his teeth by 18months but my DD is nearly two and is still missing quite a lot, I much preferred the constant teething to the on/off "what the hell is wrong with her?!....ah!" that I have now.lol

Looking on the bright side of BFN, I can carry on the high impact exercise I was doing to get my body baby ready.

Hooya · 21/09/2012 09:47

Andie impressed at you going for a baby ready body - I am too lazy to do much about mine!

Horse hope teething isn't getting you down too much!

RockChick I boringly believe that most peeps don't get any symptoms till after first missed ERTD. Mine only really convinced me a couple of days ago, 3 weeks post conception, and even then I thought they could be all in my mind!

In any case, the good news here is scan went great, things are moving along nicely though no heartbeat yet (too early) and the tiny dot on the first scan has become a much bigger blob on the second scan! I am actually pg!

Suppose I should stop hanging around here and get my ass over to the grads thread, but will keep lurking about and waiting for you all to come over and join me!

Oh and in more good news, the doc says we can start shagging again Grin

Pineapple80 · 21/09/2012 10:43

That's wonderful news Hooya congrats to u and Mr Hooya!Smile

Happy Friday everyone. Hope u all have a good weekend. I'm glad as we are going to start JSing again this weekend!

Rockchick1984 · 21/09/2012 11:37

FrustratedSycamorePants · 21/09/2012 12:22

Oh excellent hooya I may come join you on the grads fred. very faint 2nd line, 2days pre af, and it was a fabby JS month, no OPKs, no saliva ferning, no temps. Am I almost need to wait for fat line a JS graduate?

Kittenkatzen · 21/09/2012 12:31

Thanks kitten in really struggling not to blurt something silly out at work. I must remain calm and poker faced.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 21/09/2012 12:38

Many many congrats to Hooya and frustrated! :-)

swimmingnotdrowning · 21/09/2012 12:49

So pleased to read your message hooya

And how lovely to come on hoping for hooya's good news and read frustrated's too - congratulations!

33PinkLadyApple · 21/09/2012 13:47

Congrats frustrated and Hooya. Fab news all round.

I'm hoping the 3 week shag drought will end with bang (so to speak) this weekend. Hurrrumph. How does H2B think we will get preg if he 'don't fancy it'. This is about the right time of cycle 2 to get the deed done so he better fancy it this weekend or I'm looking for man juice elsewhere! Angry

Kittenkatzen · 21/09/2012 14:05

:o at "man juice" 33

OP posts:
Rockchick1984 · 21/09/2012 14:13

Man juice made me chuckle too! Although DH has on occasion referred to it as baby gravy Grin

Pineapple80 · 21/09/2012 14:42

Baby gravy, haha! I have heard of "man jam", I could go on but won't ! Grin

Yippee frustrated with you that it's almost impossible not to tell people!

Suffolk I've heard that picturing yourself actually peeing on a £5 note helps. But also I found it good to remember that testing doesn't change the outcome of anything at all - it doesn't actually have any impact since an early BFN may be too early and wrong, and and early BFP just means stress about chem pg etc and a longer time pregnant, iykwim? Not sure if that helps...

Thanks for all the congrats, I'm still in Shock but well chuffed too!

AWomanCalledHorse · 21/09/2012 14:59

Congrats on the blob Hooya!! And being able to shag again!
Congrats on the faint line Frustrated!
Must update the stats.

Man Juice Grin, good luck this weekend 33!

((hug)) for Suffolk, it can be tough. Think I may need a break from it all after this month.

Rockchick1984 · 21/09/2012 18:30

Well, I bought some sticks today, am going to do a stupidly early POAS tomorrow just to put my own mind at ease. I rang the dr's about something unrelated today, mentioned that we are TTC and would my prescription be ok. She asked me about symptoms and told me its worth me testing in the next few days (even though nearly a week to go) as they sound to her like early pregnancy Grin Grin Grin

I'm either pregnant or coming down with a VERY nasty bug, I know which I'm hoping for :)

Kittenkatzen · 21/09/2012 18:50

Fx for you rockchick, sounds promising Smile

Thanks for andie

OP posts:
Kittenkatzen · 21/09/2012 18:50

Bugger it, the Thanks are for suffolk not andie! Long day....

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamorePants · 21/09/2012 18:52

Ooh fx rock

PerditaMcLeod · 21/09/2012 19:46

Right, have ordered my testing sticks from eBay for first week in October :-)

Still feel rough as he'll, but wondering if sore breasts and tiredness just this horrible virus or something else. Far more seriously, even the thought of wine makes me heave. Most unusual....

Congrats to Hooya and Frustrated! Good luck everyone, keep shagging and drinking wine! :-)

Must stop phantom symptom spotting and wait until I can test properly!

Rockchick1984 · 22/09/2012 07:36

BFN this morning Sad

I knew it was too early really but I just feel so rubbish, and my hormones are all over the place, decided it was worth a try :)
