(sorry I know that's awful but seriously, can you think of anything else that rhymes with "eleven"?!)

Ladies, leave your OPKs at the door, and settle in for part 11 of JSing!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Wine and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

The link to Part 10 is here.

The link to the latest grads thread is here.

So don those shag capes, we have standards to maintain - Part 10 saw an amazing 9 BFPs, including one set of twins! So - what are you still doing here? GET SHAGGING!!

:o

pineapple same here...onto the next cycle I guess..

Pineapple80 · 18/09/2012 11:42

Hi Grannyapple, im sorry to hear that. It sucks but we must soldier on. I'm wallowing in period pain atm, meh Sad.

But yes, on the upside we'll be back to JSing in no time.

Rockchick1984 · 18/09/2012 11:53

Sorry to hear of all the ERTDs. I'm presuming I must have ovulated by now (Day 15 of my cycle) so any JSing will be just for fun Grin

Do you still carry on regardless when it's not a time you are likely to get upduffed?

I came across this the other day NOT that I'm symptom spotting already obviously and the section on when to test was pretty interesting - I hope the link works as I'm on my phone.

DS is 18 months old today, and well into his terrible 2's most days. Then, just as I'm starting to get stressed out and wonder why we are trying for another baby, he has a day like yesterday where he's the most loving, gorgeous, funny little child ever, and I understand it completely again. :)

Grannyapple · 18/09/2012 13:24

V interesting article rockchick, thx for the link.

AndieMatrix · 18/09/2012 14:10

Thanks for that RockChick made me want to test This week even more now!

Rockchick1984 · 18/09/2012 14:27

Do it Andie !!! I can't test for ages (well, I could but no point for a while yet) so let me piss live vicariously...

Kittenkatzen · 18/09/2012 16:50

Oooh that was interesting, thanks rockchick :) and yes andie you absolutely HAVE to test immediately because I also can't test until the middle of next week at least

perdita hope you feel better soon

OP posts:
AndieMatrix · 18/09/2012 17:02

My body never ceases to confuse me. I'm now experiencing impressive amounts of pant snot. I'm off to look this up as a symptom to make myself feel better and scheduling some JSing for tonight just in case.

Kittenkatzen · 18/09/2012 17:13

or you could poas........ :o:o

OP posts:
AndieMatrix · 18/09/2012 17:16

Increased discharge is an early pregnancy symptom. Checklist updated.l

AndieMatrix · 18/09/2012 17:18

Stupid not so smartphone!
Lol. Will POAS tomorrow so you can all calm down.

Hope you're better soon Perdita viruses suck.

Hooya · 18/09/2012 23:48

Hello! Just popping in quickly to say good luck to Andie!

And sorry to those with ERTD and to Perdita feeling poorly.

notso exciting developments for you work-wise, I'd say go for it but what do I know!

Still anxiously awaiting my scan... no more spotting and no pain at all so looking good. And I am constipated and nauseous on and off, which could be pg symptoms or just me going slowly insane

Hope everyone has a good day!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 19/09/2012 05:29

Hi all
Been away for a week. Have I missed any excitement!?
Not been able to read the whole thing.
Hoya I can see you are hanging in there which is fab!! Have u got a scan booked?

Pineapple80 · 19/09/2012 06:02

Ooh thinking of you Hooya! Grin

LadyJeanHearneTuddles · 19/09/2012 07:04

Ooh, exciting hooya.

I feel like that too, either these are symptoms or I've gone insane (could possibly be both Grin)

Lexilicious · 19/09/2012 10:54

Right, hi again all. I'm not supposed to be here because I'm not officially TTC yet, but I have been reading your stories and getting drawn to symptom spotting. Also seen a couple of threads recently about people getting pg with a coil in... which is what I have! (IUD, not mirena)

So:

normal (heavy) ERTD are 24/25 days apart but the last one was after 27
rivers of pant snot for about 4/5 days around when ovulation expected last week
teary and emotional about the slightest thing
can't shift a layer of 'comfortable' flab on thighs/tum/upper arms despite training for (and completing) a half marathon
tired

on the other hand:

boobs not sore (they were a nightmare with DS)
not at all nauseous (but didn't get any nausea the whole pregnancy last time)

Can't be, surely. Massively unlikely. Coil has only been in for just over 2 years. Haven't checked it's still there, but haven't noticed anything come out either.

Hooya · 19/09/2012 12:33

Hello everyone and welcome back lol.

Scan booked for Friday. I feel like I am counting the hours seconds until I find out if there's a growing baby in there or if the spotting was bad news...

On symptom spotting, I am a rubbish person to ask as I had no symptoms at all leading up to my BFP, in fact none at all until this week (5 weeks pg, including the silly 2 weeks they add on to take it back to your last ERTD) and even then I may be imagining them. I assumed this meant things aren't progressing but apparently symptoms don't kick in for a lot of people until 6 weeks or so...

lexi I know it is possible to get pg on the coil so who knows? Have you been doing lots of 'practice' JSing? Wink

livismum · 19/09/2012 13:31

Hey ladies CD22 here so in the dreaded 2WW and trying and failing to not symptom spot! ERTD due next Tuesday but it's my bday Thursday so do I save testing till bday (presuming no ERTD Smile) or will it put me in "so i'm now old and not pg!" type of mood?! Symptoms so far are bigger boobies bit of uncharacteristic cramping and spots (for this time of the month) and belching! An attractive combo of symptoms!
Hooya I will have my fingers, toes and anything else I can manage crossed for u on Friday! Xx

swimmingnotdrowning · 19/09/2012 13:34

Thinking of you hooya
(and also wondering what time it is with you - you're not normally a lunchtime poster - are you awake in the night counting seconds? I hope not.)

I don't know about symptoms other than that pretty much everyone has sore boobage by six or seven weeks. That's probably not helpful...

Rockchick1984 · 19/09/2012 13:43

Good luck for Friday Hooya!

Livi I'm symptom spotting like mad even though I'm fairly sure it's too early for anything! I've been feeling queasy over the last couple of days but expect its more likely to be a bug rather than morning sickness even though google throws up anecdotal evidence of it appearing straight after conception but I doubt very much if I'll get pregnant first month of trying - think its 25-30% get upduffed first cycle Sad

Hooya · 19/09/2012 14:34

Thanks all! swimming it's late evening where I am - I usually post in the morning but nowadays doing both since I am so obsessed! I have been waking very early though, 5am ish, which is apparently a common symptom!

So excited for the 2wwers - are you still JSing or giving it a rest?

Where is Andie with her peeing on a stick result?

Grannyapple · 19/09/2012 15:58

Afternoon ladies!

Indeed where is andie?! Trying to live vicariously through other people & their POAS-ing Grin.

Just heard from a friend in work...she's pg with no 2... 2nd of my friends to announce no 2 within a few weeks...

AndieMatrix · 19/09/2012 17:45

Hi ladies. Had a busy day with housework and DIY, sorry for keeping you all on tenterhooks.lol. Unfortunately it's a BFN! Not too disappointed, it's only our first month trying.
How is everyone? I've tried to catch up with all today's posts but my phone's not cooperating.

Grannyapple · 19/09/2012 17:50

Ah, sorry about the BFN andie

AWomanCalledHorse · 19/09/2012 18:21

hooya, sounds positive!! Maybe you'll be one of those lucky cows women who never get any symptoms?

Andie, boo! Hopefully it's just too early? How are you feeling?

I know my ERTD finished only three days ago, but I've had SBG! Never had it before, then you all get it & pass it on to me. Cheers. Grin

Rock, we're having a rough day here. He's teething (again), almost 9 months & he's got 9 teeth, hope we don't have another one for a while.

livis, ooh! Sounds exciting. I'd test the day after B-day if I were you (or the day before if you're planning to binge drink).
