Fred rules;

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
4. Thou shalt share and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Horse there's a thread on pregnancy at the mo where someone swears the way to get pregnant is sex on the last day of your period (apparently her and a friend both fell that way after TTC for months) so maybe that's worth a try? if not at least you scored a day early

Horse Nope, SBG has gone, cooking sausages made me feel sick the other night but I'm putting it down to coincidence. Kudos for the early donning of the shag cape.

Oh, and I'm VERY annoyed at DH right now - think I'm due to ovulate today or tomorrow, we have shagged every day since ERTD left and last night he decides he's fucking tired so we didn't do anything - this is the man who would normally do it 3 times every day if I was willing - do you think I'm out of the running now for a BFP this month?

Rockchick apparently the spunk lives somewhere in there for a few days so one day off shagging shouldn't make too much difference - as long as you're getting pretty regular top-ups!

Horse deffo kudos - don't you really TMI worry about the horror-movie moment post JS if there's still some ERTD up there as in "what the hell is that on your cock"?

Here I'm still pupped up, still spotting but cramps at all and no proper bleeding, and wondering if I should start entertaining the possibility that it will stick around... Just got to be patient and wait another few days for follow-up scan if I haven't clearly MCed by then. Also on the pant snot issue, I had none at all the month I got duffed

Hooya - hehe, that is so funny about the residue ERTD on DH's parts! It happens to us too and i am always grossed out by it! Still got everything crossed for you.

As for me, ERTD is due next Mon/Tues. The waiting awful! I'm trying my best not to get my hopes up too much as it's our first round and all...but I am hoping! I'm not testing or anything though, I will just wait and see next week. For now...I'm going to just get on with things as per usual!

Any plans for the weekend? I think we will be having a quiet one. Just got back from a holiday so just settling back in. Have a good day all!

Nothing planned for us this weekend except JSing DH likes to take DS out to a soft play or the park so I can watch tv and paint my nails get some housework done in peace, but that's about it.

Hooya can I ask, are you named after the action of giving a Hooya, or did you give someone a slap, hence the expression?

Lol Rockchick - I am named hooya for a different, totally random reason... and when I joined this thread I seemed to mention giving myself or others a good slap every now and again to stave off the mental. So giving a hooya became fred slang for a slap!

How r u feeling with it? Hopefully you're brewing a sticky baby (although not in the covered-in-chocolate-and-stroking-the-cat way of sticky that my DS is currently being ).

Are you having any symptoms apart from the spotting? I wasn't aware of any with DS until I was about 7 weeks, so it's not a concern if not but can be reassuring I'd imagine if you are. Have you done another test to see if the line is stronger/weaker?

Some symptoms, mostly dizziness / tiredness, but that could be anything. Doc did an hcg test and said they would call if it was low (they didn't), and I saw the thing on the scan, so I think I am still pg now, it's more about whether I am going to MC. Apparently tests are not great anyway as they can still show BFP for some time after MC the bastards I was being patient but I'm losing that a bit with every spotty day that goes by! Still no pain at all which must be a good sign. Gah I just wish I could know one way or the other! I really need to learn loads about pregnancy (I am proper clueless) but don't want to research now in case I lose it and get upset! Gah!

My boobs are still really sore, from nipples inwards if that makes sense, DP has volunteered to check if they're bigger later

I'm really tired and feel sick but I'm getting a migraine so could just be that, but I can't take anything just in case

Lady you can still take paracetamol if you're pregnant, and use those 4head stick thingies - I know they don't do much for migraines, but at least it may take the edge off :)

Got my fingers crossed for you here (although it's not the happiest start to a pregnancy, hope if you stay upduffed it's boring & uneventful from here on in).
After DS I was having BFP's for 2 weeks (took tests so I knew when it was an 'old' BFP & DC2 BFP..HA!!), but it's positive the Dr hasn't rang back!

Do all of you experienced JS-ers test to see if you're upduffed in the run-up to ERTD or do you just wait to see if it turns up? I think I must be ovulating around about now and I'm already getting impatient to see if it's happened this month NEWBIE ALERT :)

Also are people still drinking while TTC? Off to the pub with the girls tonight and really fancy a glass but don't know if it's bad at such an early stage? Can it prevent sticking??? Sorry if that's a dumb question!

rockchick to answer your questions, personally I've never actually done a hpt and prefer to be told the natural way each month! To be honest I think if I started I'd never stop so I'd rather ward off the obsession if I can! Regarding drinking, I still am drinking whilst TTC and think normal life has to go on although I don't tend to have more than two or three particularly in the tww, just in case!

Arrrggghhh...I've succumbed to SBG! Cramps and browny / red CM. No AF. CD30 / 13DPO. Thoughts.

Evening ladies. Tested this morning....horizontal line appeared straight away but vertical line (only half...& v faint) appeared after 10 mins.think it's an evap line. If still no ERTD by Tuesday, will test again then.

So am hitting the vino tonight on assumption

Rock, I spent every weekend I was pregnant (before I knew, found out a 5wks) drinking, in fact I only started drinking when I was 2wks pg...I didn't take folic acid & I had a shockingly bad diet. So I think a night of booze should be ok.

I don't spot at all, just straight into AF. But since TTC I've had lots of things I've never had / noticed before! Been crampy today too. It's all a bit odd.

Still not sure on the length of my cycles post-birth control, so not sure when I'm due on. But if this is implantation, it worlds be a 12 days post ovulation implantation, I think. See what happens tomorrow, I suppose.

Rockchick I had a strict testing rule - none until 2 weeks late or actual proper symptoms. When my spotting got to its 5th day with no ERTD DP persuaded me to test, but I wanted to wait as I thought finding out too early would just make pregnancy seem longer! It's totally personal though, there are folks on other threads who seem to test from about 10 mins post ov, not for me but I think they find it fun!!

Here things are very tentatively looking up - no bleeding for about 24 hours now, and starting to get some nausea and wobbliness and big nipples so am very very cautiously wondering if this might be a real pg! Got to wait another 5 days for the scan where I find out if it's growing - going to be the longest 5 days of my life!
