Fred rules;

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
4. Thou shalt share and [tea] with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Natara Welcome. Shagging til you missed a period was certainly how they did it in the old days. As much as science has helped us out through time it's also made many things more complicated than they need to be. There was too much unnecessary peeing on things and measuring temperatures on other threads for me too.

What I thought was ERTD quickly became SBG and is both annoying and confusing.

Hi Natara - the shagging until getting upduffed was always my logic too but if you look around there's ways to work out the best boinking times, and what is most likely to get you a BFP.

Well, 4 days into TTC and so far we've managed to DTD at least once a day :) DH is hoping it takes us ages to get a BFP I think - I totally went off sex while pregnant last time so he wants to do it as much as he can in case it happens again

Andie Peeing on things? Measuring temperatures? Of what? My temperature? I don't feel feverish?
Rockchick how can I work out best boinking times?? (Besides the obvious which is, of course, when husband is home!)

We're doing it at least once a day too now, since taking the implant out I've become rather insatiable. Not sure whether husband knows to jump for joy or run and recuperate!!

You can work out when you are ovulating using sticks (not off trees, usually from boots or amazon ) so more chance of conceiving when you ovulate. Personally I've downloaded a couple of free apps for my phone to track my periods (seem to be every 27 days) so my most fertile time is a week after my period.

Ovulation occurs 10-16 days after the first day of your period so that week is prime JSing time.

I'm not intentionally keeping track of my cycle or where I am, but im like rock 28day cycle generally means fertile week smack bang in the middle. And my silly body gives away when it is too, checking pant snot doesn't count does it?. In really trying not to obsess. But I'm being good and not peeing on OPK sticks or checking saliva, and I don't temp anyway. get me being a good just shagger

Woolly Mouse check alert!!! ERTD or AF is still up in the air as what I saw could be classed as Blood or SBG! Have not used another mouse so I can see whats going on down there. Got tugging/achey feeling in my womb area but again, this could defo be ERTD. clinging to hooyas symptoms being same as mine and i will get BFP any day

Grannyapple SBG is Strange Brown Goop - I and another poster (am forgetful, don't know who it was, LadyJean?) had suffered from it and felt it needed some kind of name! Stuff that's not proper ERTD blood, basically.

Welcome natara I'm just like you - didn't even know all the sticks and stuff existed til I got on MN, and beat a quick retreat to this lovely filthy thread! Looking back on it, DP and I basically shagged every day except when I was either bleeding or we were travelling long distance and too scared to do it on the plane

33 and Andie not to get hopes up but sounds similar to me, I tested after 4 days of the SBG and am pg. The problem is, you go from worrying about whether you're pg to worrying about bleeding in pg!

Thanks for all the congrats but honestly I don't think I'm going anywhere - this will be my 6th day of bleeding, turning more red now, and no other pg symptoms, so surely is a MC in the making. Again I'm just grateful eggs and sperm are all present and correct! This is only my second month of TTC so I'm sure we'll get more chances rampant shagging after this!

Don't give up hope though. Sometimes bleeding doesn't mean mc. But I know it's hard not to think the worst. When will you know for sure?

Yes it was me hooya but my SBG has disappeared.

I don't even slightly know what's going on, ERTD could be making an appearance but it could not IYSWIM, in between my hips feels weird not ERTDesk just weird, my boobs feels sore when I lay on them (I sleep on my front) and I feel fat.

So I'm hoping that either ERTD is coming (if it comes then I can count how long my cycle is, how do you count that by the way?) or I'm upduffed already

hey horse. This one is much more fun isn't it. I was previoulsy 33andTTC but name changed to get on the Fruity BFP bandwagon.

They're more annoying than anything, I have to run walk up an down the stairs a lot at work. I feel like my shirt is massively too tight and looks all revealing.

But, I did 2 tests and they were both negative (even if one was a very very very faint positive) so going to do another one at weekend or next weekend.

I looked at the other threads but couldn't understand a word of it

33 No, mysteriously stopped last night. Will see what happens over the next few days and maybe test next week. Boooooo to ERTD, wine is definitely in order!

lol yes this is our first attempt, bit of a shock to get pg so soon to be honest, maybe that's why I'm not taking this MC too seriously. Yes have been to doc who says 50:50 chance, will scan me again in a week if it still hasn't happened and then we'll find out if it's growing... I am pretty annoyed waiting for it though, it's been a week of spotting and frequent pant checking, and slightly worrying about whether MC will be painful. We have so convinced ourselves it's not going to stick, I think I'd collapse in shock if I do stay pg!

Suffolk...my poor knickers almost drowned at 3dpo last week. I disgusted myself it was so grim! I've passed the copious pant snot baton to you, it seems!

Suffolk I thought I was ovulating just a few days after my period finished, but way TMI I think it was DH's... Erm... juices due to me lying with my hips propped up after we finished, think it was all still leaking the next day
