Hmm, wasn't sure 3 times in 1 day was a physical possibility after the age of 21 Wink.
When where's the egg hiding? Maybe you missed it? Nice story, btw. Is DH paying you tooSmile?

Resipsa, I feel your pain, dh has just found out he needs an operation now on his broken in April wrist ( he ofcourse ops for the doggy style less pressure on wrist method)
Well I'm still hoping for ov around now aswell but no clue yet, time does seem to go quickly in shag week though doesnt it, I miss my baths though but convinced it helps so not succumb yet, wish I'd done opk just so I could stop dtd without feeling guilty, think this may be a long month!!!

resipsa dh didn't pay me, he was half asleep at the time [shame]

kitty that's why I opt for opks. Days and days of obligatory shagging is not my idea of fun. I just wish I'd got the posh ones not the stupid Internet cheapies. Next month it's the clear blue ones for me.

Tested again this morning and still no surge. Need to hang onto my pee for another 30 mins then will test again.

Sorry about all the DHs' various orthopaedic woes :-/

Have to get upduffed before then! :-)

When what'd day are you on? When do you normally get a surge?

Hi James
There is a trend for fruity names because of a trend for fruity names getting bfps. Hopefully your phallic fruit is a good sign!

Swimming, my mn name is pretty old, think I used it in my antenatal club five years ago when I had my ds! suppose it does sound a bit rude in hindsight lol

God, only 2DPO and itchy (not literally) already. Have turned into a really dull person, too. Whenever I talk to anyone I haven't seen for a while, I feel that all conversation about anything other than my TTC exploits is a bit fake cause all I am genuinely interested in is making a baby...so even if it happens, there will be no-one in RL to say congrats cause they'll all have tired of me weeks beforehand Blush.

res both my pregnancies were as a result of me on top!! (DH being lazy on those days maybe helped?!!) although the 2nd one wasn't successful... Seems to allow beans to stick despite the gravity issue!

DulcetMoans · 03/09/2012 17:11

It's the mess that is the issue with being on top but we have just about mastered a manovere to flip me over afterwards. I've found that less messy than missionary!

Can't stop eating! Much easier to manage food intake at work, but im at home and the house has more options in it!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 03/09/2012 18:05

dulcet hee at the mess issue. I know what you mean though.

On cd 19 and still no positive opk. Tmi alert cm has gone creamy again, it was clear a week ago (but not ewcm). So even if I get a positive opk tomorrow that means ov was on cd 21, that's quite late but last two ovs were at cd 17 and cd19.

Hmm patience is not a virtue of mine.

Lolcbcblemonlime · 03/09/2012 18:16

Dulcet regarding the mess ... Ahem .. Tmi alert!
You can clenche your inside muscles and then flip yourself. I also got pg in June on top Grin

We seem to have lack of patience in common around here, When. :-/

Bit odd re your OPKs, but maybe you did miss the surge? My CM has been all over the place this month, it has to be said. Given up trying to work my body out.

Report
DulcetMoans · 03/09/2012 18:42

haha. Well lol I can write TMI if you like but you'll still read it so it doesn't change anything! I have mastered the clench though in the last two cycles.

If you test with opk once a day I think there is a big risk of missing the surge when. I try and pay attention to my body as much as possible so perhaps you did ov like nic said.

FrustratedSycamorePants · 03/09/2012 18:47

nickinocki I've given up on trying to figure out my body too. I seem to be missing EWCM but have to try to trust body to decide when is best to get up-duffed.

lol Grin at clenching then flipping. I wish I could still clench that well Blush

dulcet I see not literally that would be wrong you too have mastered the flip. Our flip wasn't contrived as TTC assist more of a fight against the wet patch. Blush

I know what you mean resipsa I feel like any non-TTC convo is a bit contrived. and not told any RL people we're TTC so doubly cautious not to let slip. but I've found my mind wanders during non-TTC conversations.

Report
FrustratedSycamorePants · 03/09/2012 18:50

Grin dulcet is there such a thing as tmi when we're on a TTC Fred? I agree we're gonna read it all anyway.

kittykatskumkwat · 03/09/2012 18:59

No such thing as tmi on here, what would life be without a little cm and fliping talk Wink
On a lighter note for the past wk or do I've seen 3 magpies every day, no more no less so clearly I am pregnant and having a girl! Yes?!?

Just checking in.
Res - in awe of your three a day, thought I was going well with eod!

Still chuckling about all the talk of flipping and clenching. Re the clenching, I have been don't the opposite- feel I should go all calm and relaxed to let everything do their stuff and if I clench it will somehow stop the little blighters get to where they need to! Hmmm, maybe this is where I am going wrong, will try the clenching technique!

So am on the countdown to period starting sometime from the weekend. Have a fairly short cycle, which varies from 23 to 26 days. Trying not to symptom spot, but have had the itchiness of boobs today, real tingly nips. But have had this before period starting so no point in getting to excited. Am trying not to visit the cod, this month.

Nickinocki, used to swear I could tell ov from cm, but last month had none until just before period, this month, back to bucket loads last week.

Well I think we are due some BFPs pretty soon, has been a while. Would be nice to be on the same antenatal thread with you all.

DulcetMoans · 03/09/2012 19:43

Yeah, wouldn't dream of saying half this stuff to anyone in RL, even if I had told anyone I was TTC! I've read a hell of a lot worse that clenching and damp patches on here too, helps us all know its normal! (Speaking of normal, our flip is as much for neatness as well frustrated!)

Those are good symptoms kitty, maybe its the same three as well which is extra good luck. (made that up, not a real thing.)

Currently struggling to get DP to do his duty. Apparently its not sexy to tell him we are on hours count down, not days, now ive had the smiley. Not sure why...

I'm wondering wether I can time dd to have a nap tomorrow afternoon for us to dtd, dh not finish work til 3 this morning then he's in again at 6 tomorrow afternoon, not much of a window but it should be tomorrow to be on track for eod, really wish I was on the countdown but don't feel ov has occurred yet so I'll keep going sigh, I don't think our relationship gas ever been so heavily based on me pestering him for sex!!! I don't know how you and Nic have done it this month resipsa eod to me is alot, everyday would see me off..... Well unless I had a smiley and I literally only did it for that day and the one before and after Grin

kitty I feel same re pestering for sex!! Generally DH quite likes morning, leisurely shagging, but toddlers are early risers, and what with work and looking after said toddler being quite tiring, the evenings have been a bit of a write off too! it seems very unlikely we will ever get updiffed purely because of the mechanics of it!!! Resipsa has done far better than I have, though we're almost EOD since CD9, which is good for us (aided by a well-timed bank holiday!).

Now, how do I get the currently snoring on the sofa H2B to want to shag me in an hour or so?! :-/

Kiwi don't let me steal Nic's thunder; she's the 3-times-a-day goer, not me. I am WAY past that level of enthusiasm!
Let me reassure you, every day for 5 days is not a usual state of affairs here hence the excited posting. It helps that we both do office hours Mon to Fri and that DD is a champion sleeper (13 hrs a night plus a couple in the day if she can).
all positivity lost today. Hope it returns tomorrow, it's so much easier to live with than without.

Reading this thread has made me laugh, actually. We'll have been together 15 years next week (eek!) and in the middle years, we were lucky (well, DH was lucky) if we DTD once a month. He'd never have guessed that 7 years on he'd be fighting me off Grin.
