I bit the bullet!

OP posts:
Thundercatsarego · 14/09/2012 07:44

Hiya, no in not a Stokie. I'm actually a southerner who has lived all over the place, so I have a random vocabulary at best.

Duck is a great term, even better if used by big blokes!

Thundercatsarego · 14/09/2012 07:45

Sorry fatas, come back soon x

winkle2 · 14/09/2012 08:46

Bye fatas xx

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 14/09/2012 08:54

Bye fatas. I know what you mean about addicted to mn

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 14/09/2012 09:09

I'm a midlander who's lived all over. I have the same vocabulary thing, Thunder!

Thundercatsarego · 14/09/2012 09:27

Does that mean you've got an underlying brummy accent, kNic?
(I've just sent you three different messages on three different threads- if that's not a mental challenge for a Friday morning, I don't know what is!)

weechops · 14/09/2012 12:32

aw sorry fatas :( take care.

cd10 and feeling a bit crampy today. Does that mean ov is on the way?

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 14/09/2012 12:41

Hi guys, I haven't a hope of catching up on the thread, you're a chatty lot! Hope everyone's ok and hanging in there. I'm on cd17 and finally starting to get the faintest of faint lines on my opk, so we're getting somewhere. Dtd last night despite us both having colds and being knackered (sexy!) Dp is on board 100% now which is great, he's even told a couple of people that we're ttc. Yikes! it's really real! Wink

kittykatskumkwat · 14/09/2012 18:23

How are you feeling when? I've no symptoms Sad don't feel this is my month and that makes me anoyed as its still a week till I get to find out a no if I'm right, no basis other then I think it's unlikely and I've seen one magpie the last 2 days and that clearly means I'm not!! Lol

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 14/09/2012 18:47

I am in the same boat kitty. No symptoms but then I am only 5 dpo so probably wouldn't have symptoms yet.

I don't know what to hope for this month. I really want a BFP but I really really really don't want another chem preg. I think we are about the same dpo this month so I wouldn't get too upset about lack of symptoms yet.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 14/09/2012 18:55

Thunder...missed your message! Clearly the 3 thread challenge was a step too far for me, ha ha :-)

No, I'm an East Midlander, so I'm from further down the M6 and then across a bit. I don't have much of an accent. All people know is that I'm not from where I live now.

Thundercatsarego · 14/09/2012 19:25

Ha, kNic, this multi-talking is actually doing my head in a bit, I can't remember where I've said what! It's all too interesting tho. I know what it's like to live in a place when people know you're not from there!

kittykatskumkwat · 14/09/2012 19:51

I guess not, but everyone else seems to have loads of symptoms at like 1dpo!!
Plus I did have quite alot last month when I've never had them before, funny taste in mouth\ bleeding gums and twinges and pinches in uterus, tiredness well before + test but the sickness thing didn't hit till after I'd got the faint +
I'm sick of it, I managed 18 months before dd and never got this bad, I never did tests, didn't know it was 2weeks after ov you wait, I just waited till it showed< blissfully ignorant face>
I can understand why your nervous, me too after last month, surley were due our break?!
Me and you on the may bus!!! God damit!!

Thundercatsarego · 14/09/2012 20:12

Surely 1dpo symptoms just illustrate the power of the mind over the body?! I can't speak for anyone else but there's no doubt in my mind that all of my 'symptoms' would go totally unnoticed at any other time.

kitty and when, what you've been through is really shitty. No other word for it. You do indeed deserve a break.

I feel bad because I am fairly new to ttc and still feeling very philosophical about it, which makes me a bit too light hearted at times. Pretty insensitive when others have had really tricky times.

Sorry for that x

kittykatskumkwat · 14/09/2012 20:27

Thunder you have nothing to feel sorry about!!! I prefer the threads to be funny and uplifting , non of us know what's round the corner for us and although it took a while I have a beautiful healthy dd and had an easy great pregnancy with her!
I do think at any other time of the month we have a fart we think nothing of it, we burp we presume the fizzy drink, we have a headache we think the weather and take a para but throw us in the 2ww and were definatly pregnant lol I didn't know with dd till 7/8wks and by then the only thing I could say was I'd felt sick once, presumed I was hungry ate lunch and it vanished and I did think my boobs had gone bigger but just thought nice one ha ha

Thundercatsarego · 14/09/2012 20:57

Yeah I know what you mean kitty, about the light hearted side of things. I think it was a good reminder to myself however to be considerate!

Your pg tale sounds much more like I thought I would be about it all. I don't have the most communicative yes, that's a massive understatement OH, so it turns out this is the only place I can be open about it! Can't imagine what it must be like to actually be pg!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 07:26

Happy birthday resipsa! :-)

No birthday pregnancy from me, I'm afraid, a definite 'not pregnant', in fact. :-/

That's all my testing done until I'm a married lady now. I will be enjoying a few drinks at my wedding and on honeymoon :-)

I have a doctor's appt at 9, so will see if she has any thoughts.

kittykatskumkwat · 15/09/2012 07:42

Happy bday res, our predictions arnt working too well at the moment are they Sad winkle when we're you testing?
Hope all of you have a great weekend anyway x

SunshineOutdoors · 15/09/2012 08:31

Hi everyone,

hope you remember me, I recognise a lot more posters on here than on the sept thread, so thought I'd say hi.

I've had a few weeks away from these threads but want to catch up with you all.

kittykats if that's you I'm really sorry to see you here.

I refuse to symptom spot, test early and generally obsess. Although I've cut back loads on the shagging, only doing it for actual enjoyment.

The only thing that's thrown me is noticing ewcm last saturday. I'd not seen any since before pg with dd, so it's got me all thinking hopefully again even though I'm trying not to.

Default thinking for me now is I'm not pregnant, I can't take any of the disappointment anymore. So not really sure why I'm posting again, but I started lurking here and wanted to say hi Smile

SunshineOutdoors · 15/09/2012 08:32

Not although, I meant also

I've stopped temping and deleted all my apps too.

Trying to appreciate what I've got, not what I'm waiting for.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 08:33

Hi Sunshine

Nice to see you, even if it is only a short visit. :-)

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 15/09/2012 08:39

Happy birthday resipsa hope you have an amazing day.

nic sorry about the bfn, best of luck at the gps

sunshine [waves] I really like what you said. Appreciate what I've got, not what I'm waiting for. I am going to try and take a leaf out for your book.

SunshineOutdoors · 15/09/2012 08:39

Hi Nic, lurked enough to work out who you are. when's the wedding? Exciting!!!

winkle2 · 15/09/2012 09:28

Happy birthday res!

Sorry for bfn Nic

Nice to see you sunshine :) I've taken a step back too. Dont post as much as I used to and not on any of the monthly threads. My default setting is always that I'm not pregnant!

Cd27 here and I've got that low heavy feeling that AF will be here soon!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 09:31

4 weeks today :-) Just setting off down the M6 for a few meetings with florists and the hotel. Very exciting!

And I agree, Sunshine's philosophy is very sensible
