Isn't it the pop that happens I side the overt what triggers the LH sure and the expulsion of the egg from the actual ovary? or am I making this up in frustrated world?

Af has just made her evil appearance bah! So this cycle was 29 days, previous 30 and one before 28. Not even sure there's much point using opk this month, but I guess I can keep myself busy poas.

Well I just found a blob of cm which was quite stretchy. Still not sure if that's what ewcm is supposed to look like?
So will shag tomorrow morning. DH birthday. Excellent opportunity to make a baby!!
If I am ov why is the opk negative? Can anyone shed any light?

EWCM can appear in the run up to OV, Lol...maybe Sunday is about right if it's appearing now. :-)

I thought ov occurred after EWCM, so after you've ov you wouldn't see any more- the smiley is only an indication ov is about to occur usually in the next 48 hrs not that it has happened, I had a smiley cd15 last month but then EWCM a week later, dtd just incase and didn't get a super faint line til cd38 so it was definatly the week later that had fought it, think ov had tried but got delayed

Someone posted in a different thread a thing about CM and apparently you can basically get a mix of different types after OV, including EWCM. I hadn't thought you could either, but there you go.

I had no EWCM this cycle and went straight to OV!

I don't always have or notice EWCM but when I went on google to have a look at what it's surposed to look like etc it tells you when in your cycle you should get the different types and what it looks like but in fairness you could miss identify it as really how different can the different stages be?! It's only when I've had a big lump it's been significantly different

Oh but yes you can get EWCM Later if ov was delayed or a patch after ov as its something to do with the progesterone although it's described as not unusual but not common

Hi all, catching up on the thread with a latte and a croissant looking over the hills of Florence Grin.

Have had a wonderful holiday! Lots of walking, a bit too much of alcohol and lazy afternoon sex every day!

Have dtd cd 12, 15, 16 and 17 so far so hopefully at the right time as I've not been able to use my monitor as I didn't get a chance to buy the sticks!

Going to read back now but hello to all and hugs to anyone that needs them :)
