Greetings sisters [puts flowers in hair]

Bring your very best woo & let's see if we can magick up a few baybees (insta-differs not allowed).

New recruits are required to locate the BESH spell aka the BESHtionnaire and submit for further scrutiny.

Ditto. I'll start brewing the sloe gin now. (no guareentee there'll be any left by October, let alone end of dec)

Northey · 18/09/2012 14:06

A completely wankered 12 day fred orgy. And a massive cluster diff for new year.

queenrollo · 18/09/2012 14:13

right......surreptitious hugs for those needing them. I've not been in here for ages and I come back to you lot planning an epic piss-up. You'll have to drink my share for me seeing as I'm not allowed.

bugs I found that there was a palpable relief once I finally got on the road of getting tests done. It's so frustrating to be 'waiting' essentially doing nothing other than the sechs and hoping.....

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 18/09/2012 18:19

I turn my back for a few hours and you lot have gone from tear-mopping to piss up planning. I am impressed. Can I come too, please!!

YAY for the good cons, that was a few pounds well spent bugs. Although Shock at the vet's bill. Keeping everything crossed for fabulous post-investigation diffage that sticks!

Norf, it is my own choice to battle on, and I am not sure whether it is wise, to be honest. I know I could be signed off. I have (another) big deadline on Thursday, and the check-everything-is-gone appointment on Friday. If that is not okay, I am staying home afterwards. If it is, I am swimming, sechsing and drinking like a fish all weekend.

When I'm back at work, bugs! A good reason to get back soon, I think. You will be my first BESH.

Good luck for Friday, lemons. How do they check?? Scan? Blood test? I've got my next one on Saturday.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 18/09/2012 19:59

Both norf. Scan to check the womb is clean, bloods to check the hcg is gone (although, if there is an egglet lurking, which I really hope by then, they might not do the bloods).

Yorkshire meet - not jealous of a) meeting and b) living in one of the best bits of the world! Honest :)

Northey · 18/09/2012 20:05

Where do you live now, lemon? If its near me and you promise you are not weird and awful in real life we could share our woes with a drink after work one day. (Notice I'm making no promises about my own non-awfulness)

Northey · 18/09/2012 20:06

Unless you are miraculously re-diffed by then, in which case I would only be able to cough with despair and rage at the sight of you, of course.

Northey · 18/09/2012 20:07

Whilst being happy and supportive, I mean.

FizzyFeet · 18/09/2012 20:30

Good idea with the wine, bugs. GFBW is away tonight - it's ok to have a glass of red on your own, isn't it? I have fears of becoming a mad old gin-soaked lady who mutters to herself... Oh hang on, that's me already!

More random spotting today on cd 20. Plus pain that feels like my ovaries are the size of marbles. Plus I'm so busy at work that I can't find a moment even to ring the doctor, let alone go to an appointment

norf how much longer do you have before you go back? And can you do a mind of phased return so you're not exhausted in the first week! Similar question for you, lemsip - can you scale back for a couple if weeks at all?

FizzyFeet · 19/09/2012 07:38

Oh! Now I haz killed the fred!

Btw bugs why did the doctor say to stop the pregnacare vits?

FrankelSaysRelax · 19/09/2012 08:11

I'm here Fizzy, I'm trying to lurk rather than post too much - HWHNN has expressed concern that I am developing a MN addiction Grin

I will join you with the random spotting, CD 22 here and I spotted heavily yesterday and the day before. Not red, but brown gunk (sorry).

HWHNN and I had a frank sechs chat at the weekend. We've had some long dry spells in the past, a combination of not seeing each other in the week, tiredness, his overseas trips (I worked out that, in the 10 years we've been together, he has been out of the country for almost 2.5 years Hmm), etc. it's so easy to get out of the habit. I told him that I'm getting fed up of being the one to initiate, and he took it on board. He admitted that he sometimes feels a bit shy about it (10 years down the line, go figure!) but promised to make more of an effort.

Men, eh!

OP posts:
Northey · 19/09/2012 08:14

I iz here too. And also trying to post less, after my mammoth month of me-ness.

frankel, I always have to initiate too! Even if AMNH has suggested earlier in the evening that we do it later, once we are in bed it always seems to be down to me to make the first move. Drives me mad as well.

Soz about the gunk, both of you.

Northey · 19/09/2012 08:15

10 days till I go back, fizzy.

alwyn · 19/09/2012 12:32

I'z here too. Had shit observation (am dreading the feedback as even my luffly and supportive mentor said it was crap) and am starting to dread coming into work. Debating whether to get myself signed off with stress and jack in the job.

I know that would put TTC back for AGES but I just can't honestly see me surviving this term, never mind the rest of the year if diffed. May slit my wrists with a broken gin bottle before getting diffed.

Sorry for the really negative post, I just REALLY need a whinge. Am applying back to be a dreaded accountant (in a company this time, not a firm) so we'll see how that turns out.

eurochick · 19/09/2012 13:49

I'm another one who almost always has to initiate. Meh.

alwyn sorry for the work crappiness.

HaveALittleFaith · 19/09/2012 14:03

Oh alwyn I'm sorry it's so tough for you. Did you have a tough time when you were training? Or is it since you qualified? I think you're ok in venting here. When you are/want to TTC and have life problems, there's few places you can really express how tough it is.

Interesting change of events in our house - I nearly always initiated when trying to win a baybee. Sometimes it was tough because of the long period where he rebuffed me before he'd had his diagnosis. Now I'm diffed I'm not that fussed about having the sechs (must be the hormones!). Now that he's got over the fear of 'breaking the baybee' er yes he has been the initiator Hmm

Muchos sympathies for the head spinning gunk.

God Alwyn, I'm so sorry to hear this. I was a teacher and there really is nothing like it for stress. If it all gets too much, then there are other options - remember that, and keep hanging on to it. You don't have to do it.

Have an unBESHly hug.

And a slap in the face with this haddock.

Northey · 19/09/2012 19:29

al, you poor thing, what a miserable day!

Is it teaching itself that you think is wrong, or just this school? Or was it just a really unlucky class to be observed?

JethroTull · 20/09/2012 06:40

Alwyn I hear you on the work stress. You have my sympathies. I reduced my hours earlier this year because I wasn't coping with work. It took me over a year to realise it though. Work isn't everything despite what we are told and there is more to life than a successful career. I am much happier albeit poorer now than I was this time last year.

SSG sex drive is completely related to work stress. On holiday - he initiates every day. When he's busy or has problems at work I might as well be a nun.....

eurochick · 20/09/2012 10:17

bugs my scalp and nails have gone to sh1t since I stopped taking the Pregnacare. I'm going back on them.

Jethro I'm a bit like that - my libido is definitely stree-related.

alwyn · 20/09/2012 16:25

Thanks for the haddock slap and other un-BESHly comfort. I think a lot of the work stress is because I don't know what's right!!! I don't know whether to stick it out and try another school, or just jack it in!!

And the kids in the class are INCREDIBLY low ability. They are definitely special snowflakes. They have the social skills of 11 year olds but all the hormones and vocabulary of the 16 year olds they are.

I'm feeling a bit better (much better day today!) but still a bit miz.
