Greetings sisters [puts flowers in hair]

Bring your very best woo & let's see if we can magick up a few baybees (insta-differs not allowed).

New recruits are required to locate the BESH spell aka the BESHtionnaire and submit for further scrutiny.

Heh@"special snowflakes"

Maybe you do need to try a different school where the kids are "easier"? That place sounds pretty tough for an early assignment.

FizzyFeet · 20/09/2012 18:39

Work shittiness is tough, alwyn, particularly when it's tied up with ttc plans. Have a shoal of langoustines tipped over you head

faith how are you doing with your kidney pain shiz? Did you have any feedback from the ultrasound?

I went to my GP today about the mid-cycle pain and early spotting. She's referred me for a load of tests to rule out infection - I did try to point out that I've been with the same partner for 7 years and had all the tests before, but to no avail. She also advised that I stop the acupuncture to rule that out as a possible cause. So then I went to the acu lady (they're next door to each other) an told her. Felt like I was breaking up with someone! She confessed herself stumped by what's going on. So there you have it, I'm a modern medical mystery.

Thanks for the info about the pregnacare, bugs. I think I'll stop taking mine, as have a very healthy diet anyway, and see what happens.

HaveALittleFaith · 20/09/2012 18:48

Yes can you find a naicer school alwyn? You must have done ok to pass your training?

I am on the mend fizzster. Back to work this morning. Absoutely shattered now. Probably shouldn't have gone back so soon but hey ho. Tucked up in bed waiting for MSB to return home. He'll be shattered after a long day. Nothing exciting on the ultrasound of kidney so assumed its infection. Did try to have sneaky peek at baybee but I peed too recently!

The 'infection' doesn't have to be from the sechsy stuff you know fizz. At least your GP is looking into it. Sad about your needles lady though!

Quick waves, I am too knackered to write properly. Luffs to all!

Why the shiiiit?? That sounds great to me! Is it just alarm at everything starting?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 21/09/2012 08:52

Just caught up - I am preparing a phone call really and I wanted to throw a bucket load of shrimp at alwyn and hug her in the ensuing chaos. That is so rubbish. I have no useful thoughts, but this amount of stress can't be good for you. Look after yourself.

Just a quick tut at faif for going back to work too soon - when did you do that last? And how much time off before you were sort of better?

Oh and initiating is definitely SB's although he gets less enthusiastic when he's stressed too. We did have the who starts chat years ago, and now I try to iniate a bit more frequently (although he does occasionally turn me down, which I rarely do).

On the topic of TMI. Shitting myself for scannage later. But if all good, I am off to a few work-things afters. So won't be able to update you lot. If not, I'll be here moping. So hopefully speak to you tomorrow :)

alwyn · 21/09/2012 09:06

Fingers crossed you get the result you need Smile

Northey · 21/09/2012 10:41

Good luck for today, drizz. I am on my way back from Wales to London ready for tomorrow morning's blood test. I am very much looking forward to a time when neither of us is doing this any more...

HaveALittleFaith · 21/09/2012 11:23

You know the worst thing drizz? I came in because I didn't want to cancel a meeting I was running. Only one Blardy person showed up! Angry Anyway I'm alright. Working at a snail's pace. From Wed I'm working with someone else handing the job over so it'll be different.

Hoping for no news then drizz! And good luck norf. Let's hope your bodies are doing as they are supposed to!

Is the reaction just about how quickly it came round bugs? Scary I bet but better to be commencing this stage of the journey hey?

Well no news from drizz so I'm assuming she's off galanbanting at work shindigs.

I, on the the hand, am in my slanket. I feel a tad emotional about how thoughtful a gift it was from MSB for our anniversary. Did I tell you the label on the box says 'once size fits most'?!

norf are you safely ensconced in the big smoke snow?

Northey · 21/09/2012 20:16

I am, faif, you classy, slanket-enrobed madam. I too am engaging in a night of top classiness, by waiting for my sister to bring me a secret MacDonalds. Oh the shame. Back to work in a week though, so I will resume proper diet and exercise then.

HaveALittleFaith · 21/09/2012 20:21

Don't worry, I didn't get a lunch break so I had a Maccy D's on the way home. Just had a steak sandwich (albeit cremated steak and GF roll!). I had it with mayo, onions and garlic. It was very tasty!

Do you feel ready to go back to work?

It's so soft :)

eurochick · 22/09/2012 09:21

I got a cashmere blanket in this year's January sales. It is like being wrapped in little clouds of loveliness. Using it is one of the few things there is to look forward to about winter.

Northey · 22/09/2012 09:23

Blood taken. Fingers crossed for a good drop...

Northey · 22/09/2012 09:24

I wish I had a cashmere blanket...

FrankelSaysRelax · 22/09/2012 09:38

Hello all, I'm still lurking.

Norf all fingers and yes crossed for your results to show a decent drop.

Any news drizz?

I've still been spotting and yesterday it was red rather than brown Hmm. I haven't ov'd yet so clutching at straws it is not the fabled implantation bleed.

Going to deliver my long-planned hamper of goodies to my BF this afternoon. She's due in 3 weeks and I want to make sure it's in situ in time. One of her other friends (who has a 6 week old) has arranged a surprise baby shower for next weekend. I did ask her if she wanted me to organise one a month ago and she said she didn't like the idea of the fuss! I hope she takes the surprise well!

Just popping in to say the MC was indeed complete. Still a fair bit of gunk in there, so the doc expects spotty bleeding for the next week. But we only get to start treatment again after two full cycles that is bloody December so a bit meh about that. But been out in the sun, and got surprised by a torrential down-pour, so now showered and changed.

Keeping stuff crossed for you norf! And impressed with MSB, faif.

Waves and octopuses to you all :)

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 22/09/2012 12:26

And FSR impressed at hamper making and giving. I am still in avoiding all babies (except my favourite nephew) mode... Well done you!

Northey · 22/09/2012 12:31

Glad it's all sort of over, lem. But why do they make you wait two cycles??
