Greetings sisters [puts flowers in hair]

Bring your very best woo & let's see if we can magick up a few baybees (insta-differs not allowed).

New recruits are required to locate the BESH spell aka the BESHtionnaire and submit for further scrutiny.

Oooo, I love turbot, fizz. I'm very sad that the fishmonger seems to have dropped our local market. He hasn't been there the past couple of weeks. I love fish.

I'm glad you're dropping as planned, norf. I'm sorry to hear about the thrush. Presumably you can take all the drugs you want to help you through it though?

I've had my crappest ever sh@gweek. We dtd on Tuesday. I probably oved Friday and somehow we managed not to do it since. Meh. Oh well. Shagging didn't win me baby. Maybe I'll have more luck with not shagging?

Northey · 15/09/2012 18:49

Topical only, euro, in case anything oral interacts with the methotrexate.

eurochick · 15/09/2012 18:51

Oh that's irritating (quite literally!).

FriendofDorothy · 16/09/2012 09:55

Morning all. I am knackered today because I flew to London for the day yesterday. I was lovely but I am absolutely cream crackered today!

How is everyone else doing?

Northey · 16/09/2012 10:03

Idling on a platform at Reading station on my way back to the bosom of AMNH. And feeling sick from too many sweets.

What were you doing in London?

FriendofDorothy · 16/09/2012 11:01

I went to London for a thanksgiving service. Over the last 15 years or so I have been involved with an organisation called Courage who work with gay men and women who are Christians, as well as their friends and allies. The founder of that organisation is semi-retiring so this was a big bash to mark a new era. It was lovely and I saw lots of my gays again!

HaveALittleFaith · 16/09/2012 12:56

Sounds luffly dor!

I've been to church - MSB came :) albeit a bit grudgingly! Now at home pottering, doing jobs and watching the Great North Run looking out for my friend!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 16/09/2012 16:54

Hmm turbot - jealous, fizzy! I am on a very meaty diet since the bleeding has started in earnest. Clearly I need it. And the wine, to replace the red fluid Wink

The thanksgivings ceremony sounds lovely dot, but an insane trip for a day! Good to see old friends before you're housebound with the little person

Wow faif, so jealous of the sechsing! I put us on a ban til the first ultrasound when our one and only diffed session caused some bleeding. And since the faithful scan I have been spotting, bleeding and heamoraging (sp?) so it is off the cards again (we did have some alternative activities pre-MC). But now the hcg is definitely low, I do feel like it. But it will be a while :(

On lowering hcg, well done on your numbers norf. Fingers crossed it continues to go down and you'll be allowed back on that TTC horse soon. Hope AMNH's bosom was soothing as well!

HaveALittleFaith · 16/09/2012 17:08

Mmmm meat. Although the smell of rotting meat from when I left the freezer unplugged is permanently up my nose and has traumatised me somewhat....

The sechsing has been rare since the BFP (I still think MSB is a bit scared he might break something!) but he is initiating more which is good. I cannot rely on my sexy undies because I am wearing sports bras all the time!

I think it's understandable that you're obviously not up to the sechsing right and it will take time but you'll get there, slowly.

Hope you're back with AMNH now norf and he is taking care of you!

FizzyFeet · 16/09/2012 17:31

I can report that the turbot was very nice! But I was horrified when GFBW told me how much it cost. Did make sure I appreciated it though. lems red wine is medicinal, didn't you know? And steak. And blue cheese.

CD 18 here and am spotting again. Aaaarrrgghh! What does it meeeeaaaan? Will go back to my GP this week and ask - have been having lots of stomach pain too and googled myself into hysterics

Good news about MSB going to church with you, faith. Hope all da BESH are having a good weekend.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 16/09/2012 17:36

Every time I see Lemony's name I want cake Angry

HaveALittleFaith · 16/09/2012 17:42

Mmm cake. I want food but I can't be arsed getting up to make any.

FriendofDorothy · 16/09/2012 18:29

Sex? Whassat? Oh yeah that thing we used to do. I think since getting pregnant we have done the sechs about three times. We are either too knackered, too busy or The Mister and I are too anxious. Oh well. Lots of snuggling instead.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 16/09/2012 19:03

Sorry arie! I'll leave some blueberry muffins to compensate. I do love drizzle cake though...

Hurrah for nice turbot, even if it was quite expensive fizzy.

The weekend was a little better than expected, if I am honest. Today we went out and that was lovely.

Northey · 17/09/2012 09:49

Speaking of cake, I am experimenting with courgette cake this morning. The mixture did not taste good. I am hoping the oven will do something miraculous.

I'm glad you had a good weekend, lems. Do that mean you're feeling up to a full on BESHing with a red mullet now?

Northey · 17/09/2012 10:56

Cake update: the application of lemon icing has saved it. Just.

FriendofDorothy · 17/09/2012 10:57

Why would you make courgette cake when you could make a chocolate cake?

Just wondering.

Northey · 17/09/2012 11:34

A natural question, dorothy. The answer is that I would have had to get dressed and walk two minutes to Waitrose in order to buy chocolate, whereas I had everything for courgette cake in the house.

eurochick · 17/09/2012 11:39

I'm with Dor on this.

Northey · 17/09/2012 11:43

Damn you all, now I might have to make a chocolate cake as well.

FrankelSaysRelax · 17/09/2012 12:28

Someone said the magic words (chocolate cake) and here I am!

No news to report here. We had a luffly anniversary dinner on Friday and managed to fit some sechs in before Strictly and Doctor Who - priorities Wink

BTW, I make a mean carrot cake with buttercream/Philidelphia icing Grin

OP posts:
Northey · 17/09/2012 15:31

I have finished the courgette cake Blush

Anniversary night sounds excellent, cavey. And beautifully timetabled :)

HaveALittleFaith · 17/09/2012 16:29

Glad you had since night frank.

Cake for the sicky person please. Spent the afternoon in A&E afternoon getting bad back/radiating to front pain (kidney). Doc has diagnosed ascending uti (had my fair share of them) which might account for why I'm feeling so rough! Tried to have a cheeky look at baybee while scanning my kidney but my bladder wasn't full enough :( whiling away the next 3-4 weeks!

fertilityFTW · 17/09/2012 16:52

Erk. Kidney pain is awful, have had a few bouts of that in the past, hope you feel better soon faith. Btw how did Relate go? I've been feeling pretty venomous lately, surfacing of many, many old resentments - wondering whether that's a recommended route before hormones take over and I just bury BG at the bottom of the garden.

HaveALittleFaith · 17/09/2012 17:01

It was weird, it came out of nowhere and literally felt like I'd been walloped in the back!

The Relate was kind of tough if I'm honest. He got defensive in the run up and so far all we've done is gone over old arguments and told our family histories. Next session is a week on Wed and I'm hoping we'll start to move forward. Generally things are much better. He's helping more around the house but I have to work on asking him nicely! :)
