Greetings sisters [puts flowers in hair]

Bring your very best woo & let's see if we can magick up a few baybees (insta-differs not allowed).

New recruits are required to locate the BESH spell aka the BESHtionnaire and submit for further scrutiny.

People have actually put pictures of their own EWCM on the Internet? Jeez.

Rie I know we've talked about this before but it's my worst nightmare that my sister announces her diffment. I can utterly empathise with you.

Blood tests for infections at the FC this morning. As long as I don't have HIV or Hepatitus then I'll be ready to start snorting drugs next month....

JethroTull · 14/09/2012 06:58

Oooh morning Faith how's your puking?

KatAndKit · 14/09/2012 07:01

I forgot to add lemony that the foo-foo drucks do not come with a sechs ban - we got straight back to ttc once it was all done with. They always tell you to wait for your droid to come back but you can safely ignore that.

EWCM is something that goes mysteriously away when you start ttc. I remember the stuff from when I was younger and avoiding pregnancy like the plague. Once I started looking for it, it seemed to be mostly absent. Last month, when I did not want it, back it came and then back my pigging droid came too. So although LH and estrogen might have a lot to do with it, I am convinced that ttc makes it go away in order to fuck with your head

HaveALittleFaith · 14/09/2012 07:29

I agree with kat.. Everything is set up to mess with your head when TTC! I used to get tonnes of ewcm when I was younger and had no idea what it was! but when TTC to find it I had to go searching for it.

Thanks for asking jeffers! Pukkng continues sporadically but most says this week it's been quite bad. Had to puke into sink when having a bath last night Confused Trying to get on top of constipation which clearly doesn't help matters!

HaveALittleFaith · 14/09/2012 07:29

puking! What's pukkng?!

Northey · 14/09/2012 07:47

When do you have to decide, lemonandlime? And how are you feeling this morning?

aries, I sympathise. Did you see my post about my certainty my sister is updiffed? I hate hate HATE it. And I am just waiting to be alone in my parents' house before I locate all the old baby stuff (little dresses and blankets and cardigans knitted by hand etc) ad stealing the best ones to hide for myself? Even if I never get to use them, at least she won't be able to.

FriendofDorothy · 14/09/2012 07:52

My sister announced her diffings twice before I managed it once. I cried for days on both occasions. It wasn't pretty.

FizzyFeet · 14/09/2012 08:07

Commiserations on the sister diffments/ threat of them.

rosy I think you must have my ewcm - day 15 here and not a sign of the stuff this month.

lemons after I found out about my mmc I waited a week and then it all happened naturally. I wasn't very far along so it was more like a very painful period and the worst bit over in a few days. Thinking of you today.

sinkyroselee · 14/09/2012 08:14

Ew fizzy. Not sure I want your ewcm!

Sorry about the vomit faife. Worth it though Wink

Knackered this morning. Sat in car, can't face actually going in to work. And working tomorrow. Moan moan moan.

Nice try, you bad influence Norf, but not poas here. It's just too pointless/hopeless to contemplate.

HaveALittleFaith · 14/09/2012 08:18

Oh and good luck jeffers, hope you're infection free, let the drucks commence!

sinkyroselee · 14/09/2012 08:57

Yes- also hoping that you're free of fanjo lurgy jethro

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 14/09/2012 09:07

May you be STD free, dear Jethro.

Norf, no I didn't see your post about your sister. Sorry Blush. Isn't it THE most awful feeling in the world? Earlier in the year I was absolutely convinced my sister was for some reason. She turned out to be not, but now I'm thinking "It's only a matter of time before I start to hate her".

TTC turns me into an evil cow sometimes.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/09/2012 09:21

Morning BESHes!

Thanks for all the comments, I might no longer have to decide what to do. Will call the FC later because I think I might have passed the Thing.

Ignore the below if you're queasy (ie Faif look away), way TMI.
It was a weird, blob-like, sort of opaque, gel-like thingie, that came out after the worst womble cramp I have ever experienced. It hurt so much I failed to find the painkillers right in front of me, I curled up on the couch around a hot water bottle and just moaned. Thankfully SB was there. And I discovered the weird thing... I cramped a bit more, passed some large-ish clots, and filled a pad per half hour the rest of the evening. Then I went to bed and didn't bleed much over night. Now it is just a few clots now and again and a bit of a drizzle of blood. You'll be impressed/relieved to know I did call in sick this morning Wink So what do you reckon, was this it? I'll discuss with the nurses in an hour, but I really bloody well hope so!

Enough about all that...

Hiss boo to sister's diffages. Both mine got diffed with their third whilst we're trying, both boys are now 1 year old. I am very pleased they claim not to want more children. It did make my heart sink a lot, and I intended to steal the baybees upon arrival. I have refrained from that. But with the youngest I do have a very close bond.

According to the clinic, EWCM is def hormonal. It can also be increased by HCG (just because LH and HCG are very similar and they use HCG to trigger ovulation if you're as managed as we've been).

Fingers crossed for STD-freeness jeffy. I found that quite a scary result to get, even though I'd been tested for a fair few of them before becoming casual with contraception (and I insited on SB doing the same).

KatAndKit · 14/09/2012 09:28

yep that sound like it was it.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/09/2012 09:33

Phew. Not sure I could cope with more pain, even if medically managed.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/09/2012 10:32

The clinic says that it sounds like this was indeed it. I get a scan next week to check it has all gone...

cakeandcava · 14/09/2012 10:59

Just popping over from the other thread to say really sorry about what you're going through lemony, and that yes, that sounds pretty much exactly like what happened to me.
After passing the large blob, cramps subsided and it was just like a long droid. I bled for about 14 days afterwards -but that was considered relatively long. Quick word of advice -I got quite bad chafe-pain due to wearing fat sticky pads for that long -might be worth it to swap to the thinner ones as soon as you can, and change more often...

So sorry -it's a massive pile of shit and the world is not fair :(

FrankelSaysRelax · 14/09/2012 13:55

Sorry about the shitness of it all lemon Sad

Norf, how's you?

Well, I got my results back from my Equine Reproduction exam - 73% [swot]. Now, if only I could apply myself to my Human Reproduction, I'd be alright!

OP posts:
JethroTull · 14/09/2012 14:02

Well done on exam results Norf.

Spent £600 at the clinic. Genetic blood test £315. Horrificly skint now. Oh well. Hmm

JethroTull · 14/09/2012 14:05

I'm clearly not with it. Well done Frankel!!!

Northy I'm not sure how well you would have done in an Equine exam! Sorry, paying all that money has affected my ability to read.

Hmmm... is it worth pointing out that I have to pay £50+ to see my normal GP? :D

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/09/2012 15:13

Shock at the price of the consultant bugs. That is nearly a tenner per 30seconds. So, I'd prepare the meeting. I have a siff-like brain, so remind me what your situation is. Is there any reason known for the lack of sticky diffs? Do you want investigations for the MCs? Do you want treatment? What sort? Clomid, injectibles, IUI, IVF? Give me more info and I'll collect a nice list of questions you might want answered in those measly 20 minutes...

Also Shock at the price of a GP visit, dot. Is everything that expensive on your rock?!

Massive well done for theoretical reproduction, FSR.

Hmm, cake, thanks jethro. I can really do with it, because despite my horror at the descriptions on the MC boards I have definitely reached the state of being very firmly attached to my toilet. And it is less bad than it sounded to me. My hot water bottle is my new best friend, and my mum brought me lunch and flowers.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 14/09/2012 15:15

Oh my, I overlooked the 315pounds genetic test... I kept a tally of things I paid for re: fertility investigations, but most of it was NHS. So BRRRRR
