For myself, Moo, Count, Irish and anyone else who has had difficulty conceiving or has recently experienced miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.

We don't yet really believe that we're pregnant and we certainly don't want to high tail it to the pregnancy board quite yet so here's our halfway house until the 12 week scan!

Hi ladies -
Irish wonderful news about the scan!
Well along with the all day MS, sore boobs, peeing every minute I think I may now be getting the starting of SPD!!! I got it when I was 21 weeks in my last pregnancy and it was tortue!!! And all the signs ate pointing to it again the pain while turning in bed, walking, stairs etc! My DH thinks I can exercise it away but it doesn't work that way and that can actually make it worse!!!! I'm gutted but until it's confirmed I'm praying it's just my body adjusting to it new resident!!! Ahhhhh ladies trust me still not complaining and love being pregnant!!!! Everyday its feeling real!!! Still not told anyone in RL and I'm even avoiding my friends as I think it will be hard to keep it from them!!! Oh well 3 weeks to go then I will share with nearest and dearest!!!! Anyone have a time machine???

kittykatsforever · 08/08/2012 19:56

Hello ladies can I join
< waits nervously in the corner Blush>
I have just been confirmed pregnant again after mc in may and a very rocky start last week, very late faint +ve, cd38 of a normally 25-32 day cycle then waited til cd41, got a plus on the digi 1-2 then started bleeding 30 mins later, long story short I thought if was a cp but a few days later test was still +ve but still bleeding, I've been to have bloods 3 times now and we all expected the worst, first test showed level of 20 and I was having red blood and clots so had no hope but on sat instead of confirmation they had risen to 50 and today 239!!! I can't believe it as I've had a heavy af! No way implantation as I've had one before and nothing like that but not like my mc either, so scan in 3 wks to check all is well but as you can imagine after rolorcoster don't feel ready for the clubs yet!
Seen Irish around the time I had mc, really pleased your scan went well!! And a few of the others,
Moo, don't worry about lack of symptoms, first time I was pregnant I didn't find out till 8 wks and all I had was a few boob twinges at times, Untill she started wiggeling you'd never have known I was pregnant, even tiredness only really hit at 10wks+

Irishmammybread · 09/08/2012 10:12

Just a quick post as we're supposed to be going out for the morning and DDs are now ready and waiting ,but had to come on to say

Kittykats, I'm so pleased for you,it's fantastic news! I read your other thread when you thought it you were having miscarrying and was gutted for you.
Big congratulations!

Countmyblessings · 09/08/2012 12:27

Huge congrats and welcome to Kitty!
We all know how much fears come in after getting the BFP so much wanted, praying all will be well and the bleeding will stop, so you can focus on sharing this journey!
Baby steps required!!!!

kittykatsforever · 09/08/2012 15:41

Thankyou Irish and count, the bleeding has stoped now, it had 3 days ago but had been for 5 days and was like a proper af, I hope to god I'm not someone who's going to get them all the way through as I think the nerves would tip me over the edge. Been off sick last week as I got a cough , felt ill and got cold saws etc but think was largely the stress of the situation. it never seems quite real does it, 3 wks has never felt so long!!!

Discolite · 09/08/2012 20:46

Congrats Irish!

And welcome Kittykats, what an awful experience...I really hope the bleeding has gone for good.

I'm visiting all my friends and aged relatives in Wales at the moment and nearly crashed the car when I saw a golden pillar box earlier! Very exciting. I told my best friend I was pregnant last night - she admitted to testing me by offering me a taste of her pint! She's happy for me. I just hope she falls pg soon, she's trying but wants to do a big run soon and has an all inclusive holiday booked so she wont be devastated if it doesn't happen soon.

Count, I hope the pain goes away and the spd isn't really real...it would be difficult to say the least if it was, and so early. I've been having little shooting pains in my back, hope it isn't anything sinister.

Sickness continues to be bearable but walking makes me feel ill. Self induced motion sickness!

How are you Moo?

And helllooooooo Berries!

Ooh, and I've been copping a feel of my sister's pregnant cat - I've felt at least two separate squirmy movements on either side of her tummy. It's so weird but so amazing! She looks like a furry conker, her tummy is ginormous. I'm hoping she has the kittens tomorrow. I would like to be a cat midwife!

Ohhh kitty - glad the bleeding has stopped and yeh let's hope it's not a regular thing each month! Fingers crossed!!!!
Disco - you got to see a gold box nice, down in London, have seen some athletes though walking around certain parts clearly travelling to the Olympic village, does it sound bad to say wouldn't want to go, I'm a bit of a joy killer and would think the day I was there with the family something would go wrong like a fire or a terror plot???? Feel safety watching it at home! Although know plenty people who are working there and loving it!
Done massive amount if walking today and tonight am so regretting it the pain is awful!!!!! Can't wait for my family to know as they keep asking me to do things and I can't with constant MS and now these pains! Blah!
Feeling I'm neglecting DH but am so tired all the time any " shades of grey" action is not happening!!!!! Bless him! He is my rock!!
Just crossing the 9 weeks stage now, 12 feels so far!
Got my scan letter through 31st August- ekkkkkk!!!!!!!

I'm on holiday in West Wales! It's lovely here. The sickness is really starting to get on my nerves now though, especially as I don't fanccy any of the food in the posh restaurants, just pub stodge! Missing having a glass of wine or beer too but c'est la vie, it's well worth the sacrifice.

How are Count, Moo, Irish, Kitty and Berries? When is your test date Berries?

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 14/08/2012 16:51

Disco I'm here and feeling very sick and sorry for myself! Like you, no food seems to stir the senses and at the moment I'm eating ginger biscuits, chewing mint gum and having the occasional bag of cheese and onion crisps! Craving potatoes and leeks so going to make soup tonight Smile

Muchos Envy of your hols in Wales, love holidaying there, it's so tranquil and green Grin hope the weather is playing nice for you!

Sorry, relying on my phone and a very intermittent 3g signal, hence double posting.

it is lovely here, had a swim earlier and my dog had his first ever swim which was very exciting.

The sickness is just boring tbh, sorry to hear you are struck down with it too Moo. I don't fancy any animal protein except for white fish, i've gone off mushrooms and can't eat goats cheese so that's most veggie menus off for me! Ice lollies are the only thing that makes me feel temporarily better. And cake! My diet has just gone totally weird. Have you got a midwife or scan appt yet Moo?

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 14/08/2012 18:39

Midwife booked in for 3rd Sept and I suppose I'll get my scan date not long after that!

You poor thing. I can totally sympathise. It sucks, but strangely in a good way Smile

Countmyblessings · 14/08/2012 19:30

Hi all big wave to you and the ms crew!!!!!
Ohhhh I have so given up with trying to eat well how the hell can I when I eat well after 12 and then it's something that is odourless and that today was chips and chicken - not exciting but I wasn't sick!!!!
Considering I'm on anti - sickness tablets 3 times a day!!!
Nearly 10 weeks and it feels so good! Just need to get to the end of the month for my scan!!!!
The onset of this SPD is not funny and making me feel really really old!!!
Dreading the weather change as really don't want to have to invest in bigger clothes - wish I could live in my maxi dresses all year round!!!!

kittykatsforever · 14/08/2012 19:42

In having a hard time, the bleeding started again on Friday Sad just spotting at first but has for progressively worse and bad last night, had levels checked Sunday and they had gone up but that was before bad bleeding, got a scan booked for Thursday , I've been really bad the last few days sick with worry but today feel abit better, off work and the sun shining I'm just thinking now what will be will be, I can't change it
( I reserve the right however to change my mind and Start bawling at the drop of a hat!!)
Sorry to here sickness has you, I've never really had morning sickness or many symptoms, aparently if you don't get it by it was either 6 wks or 8 your unlikely too, with dd I never even had any craving either, really fancied fanta at times when I never normally drink that but nothing else
What I wouldn't give for a holl right now........

Countmyblessings · 14/08/2012 21:31

OMG kitty - no!!!!!! I'm praying all will be well the bleeding can be explained and will not effect the baby! I have never had bleeding with any of my pregnancy good outcome or not so can't give advice I'm sorry!
Kitty I'm worried still and I have my scan at the end of the month and although I have had 2 scans with good news it stll has not stopped me worrying due to the bad news I had at my last 12 week scan!!
Sending big hugs, best wishes and loads of prayers that all will be well when you have your scan!!!

kittykatsforever · 14/08/2012 22:38

Hi count
I totally understand that, it's the same for me, although some women have bleeding in pregnancy for me I didn't first time and the only time I did I had a mc so that's all I can equate it to, i think once you have had a negative experience it's so difficult to forget it or to compare it to something else, do they say what causes a mmc? Is it something that if ifs happened before is likely or just a random act? I never realised about them until mn recently for me mc just ment bleeding, you realise how sheltered you are comming on here, with dd I didn't even know I was pg ( even though trying Blush) until 7/8 wks as I thought implantation bleed was strange short af, I was at gp for tests where when I was describing the last strange cycle in comparison to others, short etc that she said do you not think you could be pregnant? Have you done a test? Lol

Countmyblessings · 15/08/2012 12:15

Hi kitty - no explanations come with the news of the MMC it seems to be natures way of saying this baby will be a angel!!! I guess the biggest shock to me was I never heard if it before it happened to me and I had no alerts that anything was wrong which is the thing that terrifies me the most waking up feeling pregnant going to bed knowing your not! It's like a big con!!!!!!! I have a friend who had bleeding and she thought her pregnancy was doomed but no all is well, while I had no problems and mines turned out to be ectopic - its all a Dice throw!
All we can do is take 1 step at a time and be strong through it all!
My DH thinks I'm worrying too much but it's hard to relax unless you have constant reassurance all is well - getting scan daily would help right!!!

kittykatsforever · 15/08/2012 13:53

Yes I love the daily scan idea Grin
Will you be getting them early to check because of previous complications?

kittykatsforever · 15/08/2012 13:57

Opps forgot you did have one didn't you, still weekly scans should be compulsory! Wink

Countmyblessings · 16/08/2012 12:50

Kitty - I pray all is well with your scan xxx

kittykatsforever · 16/08/2012 13:08

Well I'm out, epu couldn't see anything so apart from bloods to confirm that's it, 2 miscarriages in a row, when life decides to kick you it makes sure your well and truley down doesn't it Sad

Countmyblessings · 16/08/2012 13:34

No kitty I don't believe it!!! They saw nothing on the scan is it too early kitty how far are you, sorry cant remember.
When I found out I was 4 weeks and nothing on scan but bloods imbed over a week and then it was confirmed no ectopic!
Could it be too early kitty?

kittykatsforever · 16/08/2012 13:54

Don't know for definate how far but I believe 5 wks + my levels shod have been 3000and they can see pregnancy sac from 1000+ feel really stupid for allowing myself hope for a little miracle after it seemed to survive the last bleed but no, feel just about crippled by it to be honist

MooleyWooleyShamaLamaDingDong · 16/08/2012 14:27

Oh Kitty I'm so, so sorry for what you are going through. You are in my thoughts and prayers!!
