I searched and found your Beshtionnaire!

  1. Do you like gin? (This is compulsory, you must say 'Yes')

Does sloe gin count? I attempt to make my own. :)

  1. Men - are you a gold digger or a cradle snatching cougar?
Gold digger since DH is a year older than me, all previous bfs would put me as a cougar

  2. Baybee-making - to put a baybee in your tumtum, which hole do you use:
    a) weewee
    b) poopoo
    c) foofoo
    d) none, you just pray to the baby Jebus.

Darn it I now have the song #little rabbit foofoo running through the forest# in my head --it now has a whole new meaning-/

  1. Testing - when someone wonders if they should test for updiff (pg), do you: a) bellow 'POAS!' at them non-stop and punch them repeatedly in the kidneys till they wet themselves anyway. b) Sprinkle them with babydust and send them hugs and kisses on lickle baby angel wings.

POAS POAS POAS secretly wonders who nicked the baby dust idea from nm? I migrated a here from there last year after a MNer came over to pisstake, not been back since

  1. Is R2D2: a) an adorable robot from Star Wars. b) the source of all evil.

the source of all evil?

  1. what colour are your walls?

A fabulous shade of needs to be repainted magnolia

  1. Number of pets?

One. two if you count DH

  1. Inappropriate (read: weird) crush of shame?

Hmm, Zac Efron cougar alert Blush

  1. Lesbian crush?

Alicia Silverstone.

  1. What are your views on camping?
Pah Pah Pah haaaaaah. unless it comes with electric hook up, tents that don't leak in the rain, or get sweaty when it's hot, then you ain't getting me near a tent. Grin

  2. How much money have you spent on sticks you then urinate on?

i) Oh nothing, I'll probably catch first time and then get the doctor to confirm it.
ii) Over 100 quid
iii) I opened an account on ebay solely for the purpose of purchasing sticks

I'd love to say i) but sadly I can't. haven't kept count Enough to avoid all local chemists, and now have an eBay account that DH doesn't have access to so I can hide how often I actually spend I am a POAS addict.

FrankelSaysRelax · 12/08/2012 19:16

Looks good to me frustrated, I'm happy to welcome you on board.

A few pointers:

We don't use "DH"/"DP" (we give our other halves their own nicknames, mine is HWHNN - He Who Has No Name, because I was too lazy to come up with something more original)

Use of "baby dust" or "baby dancing", unless used in a strictly mocking tone, will result in expulsion Wink

We also don't use "AF", preferring "droid", "metal fucker" or occasionally "Druid" Grin

HaveALittleFaith · 12/08/2012 19:22

Indeed Frankelly.

My husband is MSB MrSquidgyBaybee - when I chose it he kept bursting into the song from the Haribo advert and he is rather Squidy :)

You are correct that the droid is the source of all evil - links in with the alternative nickname for AF.

How long have you been trying to win a baybee?

OP posts:
frustratedpants · 12/08/2012 19:48

Ooh I shall name him hwsmm (he who spends my money) Grin

I've been trying to win a baybee for 4 cycles, which I know is early days, but with endometriosis playing silly buggars with my insides i may be here for a while..

HaveALittleFaith · 12/08/2012 19:56

Ah ok, early days but mitigating circumstances :)

OP posts:
lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 12/08/2012 20:42

Camel here's a nekkid dance for your BFP (big faint positive) cos we need to welcome it in style. Even if you're nervous, that is okay. Hang out here, and all will be fine. I hope.

Wow faif that sounds like progress on the talking and getting there with MSB. I really hope you'll be okay sooner rather than later, but it does sound like you'll get there. The senior person+wife do indeed sound LUFFLy.

Welcome through gritted teeth as four cycles, that was autumn 2010 but your endo counts for something. You are an old hag as well, aren't you? Questionaire looks good, otherwise fruzzie.

As for me, baking after another 50k cycle proudlemon. And not much else...

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 12/08/2012 20:43

Oh and my other half is Skinny Bint for obvious reasons.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 12/08/2012 20:49

Welcome fruzzo. My better (ha!) half is GHJ - ginger hairy jock (for he is all three. And after the London sun on Saturday, I could a P to make him a pinkGHJ)

4 months is early days, but if you promise to not moan about duration, you're very welcome to moan about shitty insides. Personally, my ovaries appear to be more cyst than useful bits, and, like faife, and cave/frankle steel coated. (and others- its just you two I can recall calling them that!)

So. Got my appointment for bloods and another fanjocam tomorrow. Wish me luck... I'll make sure I've got a naice pair of knickers on..

sinkingflameofhilarity · 12/08/2012 20:54

Ooh, and, of course,

How could I forget- just a little twizzel while you get you're head round it all camel- we're here for the full on nekked dancing when you're ready.

Good effort on the exercise driz. I have signed up for the 2013 Edinburgh marathon. This is because, obviously, everyone seems to get preggers just as they make long term plans. I've got married, been the bridesmaid, have already committed myself to a baby inappropriate career, so I'm left signing up for activities totally inappropriate if diffed.

I'll be truly irritated if I end up running the bloody thing!

FrankelSaysRelax · 12/08/2012 20:58

Confession time, I had yet another wobble this afternoon. Cue more tears and snot on HWHNN.

I'm going to call the clinic again tomorrow to find out where my appointment letter has got to. I was promised it would be with me "shortly" 3 weeks ago.

HWHNN went to see a friend of his on his way back to base tonight. He has an 8 month old son and HWHNN to,d him the basics of our problems, mainly so that they didn't think we were avoiding them. Turns out his missus had a cervical cancer scare whilst they were TTC. As soon as she got the all clear, ta da, updiffedness.

ShredniVashtar · 12/08/2012 21:24

Welcome, newbie. Nice to have some fresh meat here. My DSis has endo, so I know second hand what a pain it can be.

Woo hoo camel! Will save myself for full on nekkidness once you are more in the mood .

frankie you're allowed a wobble! What's the latest on the job situation?

Good work on the long cycle ride and the Edinburgh sign-up. I'm feeling smug and virtuous after a 7 mile walk today. let's forget about yesterday where I did nothing at all

In shagfest news, I have been having ov symptoms v early, so have been jumping on GFBW every opportunity. We had agreed that we would try to relax a bit more this cycle Instead I am prodding my buzzwams obsessively...

HaveALittleFaith · 12/08/2012 21:31

actually my ovaries are ok

Yes how old are you fruzzie? I am 30 until Friday, sob have been trying to win a baybee for 2 1/2 years, male factor issues (now fortunately treated and resolved) combined with health problems for me lately (urinary tract blockage which landed me in hospital for a week in March) - getting the dynorod cystoscopy in September and house fire in December which turned our lives upside down! So 4 months was April 2010! Will be having a rest from TTC while we work through some ishoos that the combo of the TTC/MSB's illness/the fire/my illness has thrown up. That is if I'm not diffed right now Hmm tent conception anyone?

Luffly evening with MSB watching 24, chatting and he had been very affectionate. Definitely moving in the right direction. When I put it all down like that, I'm not surprised we're finding things tough!

FrankelyCavelike it's ok to wobble luffly. You kick arse with the clinic tomorrow. Worked for me waiting to see the consultant! :)

OP posts:
FrankelSaysRelax · 12/08/2012 21:34

He's happier about the job, still a bit up and down at times but better.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 12/08/2012 23:13

Apologies faife. Was sure your superpower was ovaries of steel or some such. Promise am not sending negative ovary type vibes your way.

Tis very hard to keep up with all the bfps I'm not even sure who's BESH, PESH or somewhere inbetween

frustratedpants · 12/08/2012 23:17

I'm 32 I think, I lost count, stopped counting a few years back am I a hag yet?

Am liking the name fruzzo

Been to the beach tonight to watch the closing ceremony on the big screen. feeling all sandy and tired now.

FriendofDorothy · 12/08/2012 23:24

Faithy we did lots of shagging in tents last summer and no miraculous diffing but we did knacker 3 airbeds!

eurochick · 13/08/2012 12:02

Welcome Fruzzo. My other half is KFZK (kung fu zombie killer, after past and present hobbies).

sinking I like your thinking. We are considering tempting fate by booking a safari in a malarial zone for next year!

faif we are also working our way through 24 at the moment. We're up to Series 5 now.

FSR the admin around ttc is just awful and makes this whole situation so much more stressful than it already it.

Dor, destroyer of airbeds. Heh! Good skills.

I am shattered today. I was in Hyde Park jumping up and down like a lunatic to watching Blur last night. The show was brilliant but the organiation was appalling. The queues for entry/booze/food/loos were all at least half an hour each, so I feel like I spent most of the evening queuing rather than spending time with my friends (because I probably did!). But still, it was Blur.

KickTheGuru · 13/08/2012 14:24

Morning all!!

Hba1c is down to a VERY respectable 7.8 so very limited chance of neural or congenital defects if we magically ever fall pregnant! Yay!!

Did we all enjoy theceremony last night?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 13/08/2012 15:13

Was v good even with the spice girls and Russell Brand Am pretty knackered today though- midnight is beyond my bedtime on a school night.

Currently sat waiting for dildocam. Had bloods done, but interestingly, no progesterone but AMH, together with screening for every blood borne virus known to man.

Am slightly in huff with GHJ. Both went to get bloods, then he left as he "does't want to see that scan stuff". So sent him to book his SA. But here he has to do it on site, not drop it in. He's adamant he can't perform on demand in a hospital room. So is refusing. Right. What the actual fuck does he think I can do about this? And, of course, I love fanjocam.

Bah. And am in hospital I work on. Pretty awkward.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 13/08/2012 15:15

Lots of v short sentences there.. It's a sign of my rage as I'm surrounded by beaming preggers types and babies. And the only spare seat is opposite the machine that prints off the baby scans.

Am drowning in baby dust...

KickTheGuru · 13/08/2012 15:39

Argh shit that's crap. I had a big chat with mine to find out if he totally understands the lengths we may need to go to and he said he would do it if it was a last resort.

We bought an online male sperm tester thing though and tried it at home. Figured it would show up if it was necessary for us to take it further.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 13/08/2012 17:10

He's already done a sample at the last place, and it was supa dupa sperm. I think part of the problem is he just won't see that the new unit will want to repeat tests.

Sigh.

KickTheGuru · 13/08/2012 17:18

Surely they can pull the records of the previous test though?

I can see his reluctance if he went through it once and it was all fabulous and they want him to do again without really needing to.

Grrr shame. Rubbish though. I love how we need to be all tippy toe in case their sperm doesn't work but it's fine if there is something wrong with a woman. She can just suck it up and move on. But the man is emasculated if he may have a problem.

I remember feeling like a failure as a women with the diabetes and just the body failing and stuff. No one ever treated me differently. In fact, I was bloated and horrible after having 10l of fluid pumped into me and everyone (including the nurse at the hospital) kept asking why I was getting fat or mentioning my weight. It took a month for the swelling to go down Hmm

HaveALittleFaith · 13/08/2012 17:27

Welcome to my world kick! Sorry to hear its annoying Sinks. Time to point out how you get an audience for the fanjo cam and that he needs to get on with it!

Good news re the HbA1C :) well done with your diabetes management!

OP posts:
Northey · 13/08/2012 18:02

Congrats to thegnu on diabetic aceness, and faify on good progress with MSB on working through everything.

How did clinic go, frankie?

Someone asked when my scan was. Tomorrow....
