NC optional but not essential. Create your tag line and describe your outfit in detail. Wanna be BESH superheroes must prove their might by undergoing a gruelling set of tasks completing the BESHtionnaire hidden elsewhere in old threads
Fly on in and make yourself at home in our obviously secret lair :)

She was on BB and did indeed have an affair with Ryan Giggs. It's times like these I get hung up on the concept of who deserves a baybee more.

OP posts:
FriendofDorothy · 10/08/2012 22:39

I agree. She doesn't deserve anything other than a tight slap. She so annoys me.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 11/08/2012 09:29

Tight slap? Arf.

On train to that there London for a spot of the Olympics. Need to drag myself out of the total strop I've let myself drop into. I think wrangling a cheeky lunchtime wine might help with that.

Shall be at the bronze medal hockey- GB vs Australia. We'll be humped, obviously. I'll be the confused drunk at the back...

FriendofDorothy · 11/08/2012 10:58

Ah a tight slap is what my Irish friend always said - it's s slap with the fingers together so you get maximum power!

LauraPalmer · 11/08/2012 12:19

Sneakily popping in for a quick catch up while on our sunny holiday...

Grin at the term 'slagbag'

Congrats on your scan Rolls (are you also on the Feb fred?)

Have fun at the games Sinky

And now back to the sunshine.

JethroTull · 11/08/2012 17:53

Grin at Bugs use of Nostrils! I have been outed on another thread so don't want to say my old name, needless to say I'm an old BESH who has just been lurking for a while whilst waiting for a hospital decision!

Faithy sorry to hear your news but glad that you are both talking to each other.

HaveALittleFaith · 11/08/2012 18:53

I fink, I fink I have twigged! Good luck with the hospitality stuff Jethro.

Thanks Faith we finally have an appointment next month at a private clinic so for the first time in a year I'm allowing myself to be hopeful.

HaveALittleFaith · 11/08/2012 20:05

Hooray for appointment and light at the end of the tunnel! :)

Today we had a big challenge - choosing a new mattress. The reason it was such a big challenge is we are on opposite scales in terms of firmness. What we lost was the mattress I had when I moved into my first home on my own - a Sealey orthopaedic mattress! That's what I wanted again! He likes soft mattresses (ooh my back). We agreed to a firm mattress but how firm was the question. We had to try them, discuss it over lunch, pause when MSB said we should just get the one I wanted but that's not how it's meant to work, is it?! Of the three we tried, we picked the one in the middle (for price and firmness). A fair compromise I think!

Wasn't Mo just awesome?! Grin

JethroTull · 11/08/2012 20:29

The week before our wedding my mum said this to me - pick your arguments carefully & remember to compromise!

Mo was incredible. We were shouting at the tv.

Well obviously not a too recently retired BESH if she knows us - I've been her a year....I figured it could only one of two people..

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaith · 11/08/2012 21:03

I've been here a year.

FrankelSaysRelax · 11/08/2012 21:49

I have my suspicions, but will say nothing for now Wink

FriendofDorothy · 11/08/2012 22:38

Nope no idea who you are.

CamelKnees · 12/08/2012 11:39

Well screw me sideways I think we've done it
BFP at stupid o'clock this morning
It's faint but it's there

Sorry for being AWOL recently BESH. I've been a bit low truth be told (about TTC and work crap mostly).

So anyway there it is. Must go and find some excitement. Feel like should be bouncing off the walls but am just v scared.

Hope everyone is ok.

FriendofDorothy · 12/08/2012 11:46

Oooooooo tentative congratulations until you find some excitement!

Maybe it was the innovative screwing you sideways that did it! :D

CamelKnees · 12/08/2012 12:02

thanks Dot

Feel like a bit of an ungrateful cow for not being more jubilant about this. Must pull self together.

Wouldn't it be fab if there was some mental position that guaranteed up diffedness... Grin

blonderthanred · 12/08/2012 12:16

Wowee that's rather fab. I agree the sideways screwing sounds likely to have done the trick. If only we'd known earlier. Fingers xed for more thick stripey BFPs.

FrankelSaysRelax · 12/08/2012 12:27

Hurrah! I likes good news Grin

Well done Camel [pinches bum]

[takes off top, but leaves bra on for semi-nekkid celebratory dance]

CamelKnees · 12/08/2012 12:50

Ta muchly franko and blonder

frustratedpants · 12/08/2012 13:01

Hi ladies.
What's BESH?
Your fred seems an interesting and welcome distraction from TTC.
Can I join? one lone lonely loner here looking for friends that aren't scared away by obvious need for friends

FrankelSaysRelax · 12/08/2012 13:47

Hi frustrated, locate the BESHtionnaire (look at old BESH threads), fill it in then post your answers, then we might tell you what a BESH is Wink

HaveALittleFaith · 12/08/2012 13:52

Woo hoo! Nipple tassels at the ready! Grin That's tentatively good news camel! I think any BESH would be a bit nervous about a BFP but we're here for you very step of the way :)

ooh fresh meat!nWell hello frustratedpants! BESH means BitterEvilSelfishHags generally we are laydees in our 30s(ish) who have been trying to win a baybee for some time. If you would like to join our super hero gang you must learn the secret password fill in a BESHtionnaire - if you search for previous BESH threads for the BESHtionnaire you will find it. Copy and paste with your own answers and we will see if you are super BESH material!

In other news I made to church this morning, struggled massively since MSB wouldn't come and it was a baybee's dedication service and I recall crying when they announced her diffedness probably 15 months ago now However a luffly fella who is senior in the church saw me cry my way through the service and got his equally luffly wife to talk and pray with me. About 5 minutes after I got home MSB told me he will make the effort to come to church with me again and pray with me each night because he said he realises how important it is to me and that if he declared he'd do what he could to save our marriage going to church is one thing he needs to do. I am very happy/relieved about this!

OP posts:
CamelKnees · 12/08/2012 14:24

Thanks faithy

Sounds like a real step forward with MSB. HY and I have slightly different religious views (him staunch atheist, me lazy catholic) and over the years I've come to realise that I don't care what his personal view is. It's his willingness to support me (even if he thinks it's hooey) that really counts.

Hi frustratedpants can I call you fruzzo for short?? Looking forward to seeing your answers. You'll love the BESH. They're luffly and v funny.
